Awesome food, affordable and great selection, also delivers very fast.  People are friendly and attentive.  Tried a few different things, but I liked the pizza and burgers the most.  I like my burgers well done, but usually that means a small patty that is burnt.  They got it just under well with an amazing amount of juice and it was a huge burger!  Will go again!

I ordered twice for me and my family - pizza, salat, french fries, chickenn wings. We didnt like it at all. The pizza was the only exeptable food. We will never ever oder from there. Sorry to say that.

Good for a quick bite before heading to La Guardia airport.  Our party tasted the peperoni, Margarita and tomato chunk pizza and fries.  All were good.  Not amazing, but good.  Don't expect too many smiles at this place.

Best grandmas slice I've had in a long time. If I lived near here I'd order delivery from them all the time!

So I was a little scared.

The place always seemed to be mostly deserted when we would drive by about once a week. Since we were looking for new & exciting and cheap and near I said, ok I'll take a quick peek and see what I see. If it looks decent I'll order something.

The place was fine. There was more of a casual formal dining area for waiter service and tables in the front area by the kitchen. I thought it was a good sign that on a Saturday night at around 6p there were about 6 employees in the kitchen and most of the pizzas on the counter looked fresh.

Since the Grandma and plain slice looked fresh I went with one of each. $5 for both.
They were both quite tasty I have to admit. The plain was a good standard slice. Plenty of sauce and plenty of crust. The grandma slice is just more of the good stuff (cheese and sauce), some extra crushed tomatoes and fresh basil on top too. If you don't know grandma slices, most places have them, so order up and enjoy a slice that usually packs a lot more flavor than the usual plain slice.

Remember kids, if it looks fresh it probably is.

And please stay away from the day old looking pizza slices/whole pies that seemed to get reused when they don't sell  so they decide to put on "fresh" toppings on an old plain cheese pie. eeww.

Thanks Airway. I may have to try your chicken souvlaki sandwich next. I know, I know I'm pushing my luck. After all, they speak Italian there, not Greek! We'll see.

Garlic knots - a vital part of the New York City experience.  I was surprised to find that many people outside of New York have no idea what garlic knots are.  To those who do, and who love them - I salute you.

I've tried garlic knots all over the city - Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and definitely Queens (Staten Island doesn't count as part of the city).  There have been a few that I would definitely eat again - but none that I would go out of my way for so much as the garlic knots at Airway Pizza.  Parking tickets?  Eh... who cares?  As long as I get my Airway garlic knots I couldn't care less about that 25$ fine (what's a 25$ ticket in NY anyway!).

How else can I say this except - best garlic knots ever. period.

And yes, I have gotten more than one parking ticket in my efforts to obtain these fresh and delicious doughey garlicky goodnesses!!  Were they worth it?  Hell yes!!  Should you be mindful of when street cleaning is?  Probably.

NY pizza -- Yes! We were driving around looking for NY pizza before our flight took off and this place popped up on our google maps app. Other pizza places were nearby but they had their doors open on what was a stinkin hot day -- we went with Airways because their door was closed. A/C is a huge bonus with a toddler!

The whole family was hungry and so we probably over ordered. I got a slice of plain old cheese (fantastic) and a thick spinach pie while my husband got a square piece of pizza loaded with tomatoes and basil and a chicken-calzone-thing. Our toddler ate well taking a bit of everything. I enjoyed the pizza a lot. My only beef was with the spinach pie -- a few too many onions for my taste, but I've never been big on onions. My son ate it onions and all.

Thanks for giving us one last happy memory before leaving the city!

Classic pizza place.  A nice hot out of the oven greasy slice goes down wonderfully after a long day.  Very very good pizza.  Calzones, garlic knots and pasta dishes are also great at Airways.

Located right near LGA, it's perfect if you have the time before or after a flight to get a bite to eat.

Prices are as expected.  A little higher then you'd like, but great compared to the criminal prices that Manhattan parlors charge.

    Highly recommended.  Will not disappoint

Dumpy looking, but ok for a quick slice. Less than 5 minutes from my apartment so I stop by every now and again because it's convenient. Chicken rolls are quality for only $5. Can't speak on the pasta dishes, haven't gone that far yet.  Best for takeout although they do have a large dining area.  2.5 rounded up to 3.

Damn good pizza, I've only eaten in there though.  We get slices or a whole pie, it's great.  If you go in groups get an ice cold 2-liter from the fridge and ask for cups.  At 15  a pie...it's a few bucks more than the average Queens pizza, but very tasty.  I'd recommend it.

PS They have bottled beer alongside the soda in the fridge!! Awesome!  YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY A PITCHER!

Run of the mill pizza place.  Probably not worth the walk from the Hampton Inn Laguardia.  I got a square slice, plus another square slice with lots of onions and tomatoes

Didn't want to cook or go far tonight to eat, so a slice or two was in order. I've eaten here many times.  It is a typical NY greasy-style slice that you can almost call comfort food.  It is not the best slice around and it is definitely not the worst but it is traditional. That counts for a lot in a city of copycats.

One plain slice and one grandma slice set me up for the night. Try the garlic knots, spinach pie or one of the many platters.  Family gatherings are common in the back room.

o i'm not related to anyone in there.  just ordered from airways a gyro plate and a slice of pizza.  i was very pleased with the looks.  a little of everything with my feta, my WELL DONE  french fries and my tsatsiki.  I can't wait to try more stuff at your place : )  but guys from the reviews I hear a little too much salt, so go easy on it,   Doctors are yelling at everyone about their salt intake.

I've had pizza and lasagna from here....It's not very good.  At best its satisfactory, but it lacks flavor.  The lasagna obviously has no spices cooked in it, as it has a bland flavor.  The bottom was burnt and the meat was full of gristle.  I wouldn't eat again unless it was an emergency!
