This is the best place for sporting goods. I bought bikes for my twin nephews from here. It is a bit expensive but its better to bear expenses than to compromise on quality. They also take good care of you and see to it that you get the best deal. I enjoy shopping here.
People seemed pretty nice, CrAZy selection of military-type gear, good prices on all the things I looked at.
I'm not an air-softer, so I was quite surprised to find they had REAL EO-Tech HWS's. I'm a bit of an impulse shopper and found AEX was the only place in town that was a) open; b) had it in stock; and c) sold it for a fair price. They work with Mil/LEO groups too.
I'll be going back to pick up some MOLLE accessories soon.
One of the only places to learn about / involved in / outfitted with / anything and everything airsoft. If they don't know, they can find out. And if they say you shouldn't - then you probably shouldn't.
I love this place - though I no longer play (work) but it's still a great place all the way around. They will do you right - true some of the quality stuff is a tad on the expensive side, then again you will be apart of a unique group of individuals that live the sport.
Who wants to be normal?

If you play airsoft, want to play, just want to look, or use it as an alternative to CQB training aid.....THIS is the place to go....
Highest marks, across the board, from customer service, product, availability, etc.....five stars.....
I could write volumes on what they can/have and will do for their customers..and best of all, no attitude or ego.....They teach me something new every time I walk in the place.....And it is not all about making money either, if they can offer you the same or better for less, they do..Impressive bunch, go see them!
My husband absolutely loves this place. He's purchased both of his guns from this place. We used to come in when I was pregnant, and as I sank into their comfortable couch, my husband would chat with the employees here for hours. Whenever we come in, they already know my husband's face and they ask about his gun and offer new things for it, but they are never pushy. Whenever he has problems with his gun, all he does is bring it in and they'll fix it asap, sometimes for free, depending on the problem. They have never let him down. He loves trying out their stuff, contemplating which one he's going to purchase next, although now we have a child, so he's cut back from too much airsoft... Anyway, come here for the great brands, the great service, and the great employees as well!
The only place in the Bay Area that I'd go to for anything I need to know about the sport of Airsoft. Whether you're starting out and can't tell the difference between gas or electric, or a pro that gets down to the nitty gritty gears in a Systema system, these guys & gals here know it all.
You won't find any knock-off cheaply manufactured good here too. It's nothing but the true brand name gear. From Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, Western Arms, KWA, Systema, KING ARMS, etc. they have all the latest and greatest models available. They even have upgrade kits too!
Check out their package specials for upgrades to fps, full metal bodies, barrel changes, etc. They can do the configuration for you for a reasonable fee, or they can supply the parts to you and you can do it yourself (if you got the knowledge and skill). They can also do custom jobs too, just tell them what you want and they can special order pieces if necessary.
This is a very good staff here. They interact well with the customers, especially those that bring their kids in. They really stress safety and make sure kids understand the nature of the sport. They also will repair or fix any modded piece you have that you bought from them. They do charge a fee for those that you didn't buy from them.
Still the one and only true airsoft shop around. (not to mention the best)
These people are the best people in the world when it comes to Airsoft gear....Not only because they are the ONLY people in the area, but because they are so friendly.
A good friend of ours owns this place and its nice to see him move from the old location off of Bascom into this new larger location on Laurelwood. I love their large selection of guns, gear, and guns.
They also have a location in Sacramento so for those of you who have family or friends there let them know!!!
Also look for the postings of games on their bulletin walls as you can meet up with my fiance and shoot him down sometime soon possibly!!!

Hey! I went here with my friend Spike to get his gun and some stuff for his thing and they let me play with one of the little ones! It was soo cool, the guys there are real customer service oriented too. I recently just moved close to this place so maybe some day , when I decide to shoot stuff (again) I'll most definitely come here!

Love this place! Need airsoft gear, parts, guns and advice this is your place to go. The prices are competetive with other walk-in stores and their service is pretty good. There's not a store in town that holds a candle to AEX.
They're also very responsible about NOT selling guns to minors. If they do they're parents have to purchase the gun. Along with the purchase the staff would warn the kids about the dangers of airsoft and how NOT to use their new gifts.

Great service. I bought a barrel from them and it did not fit right so i brought it back they gave me full refund even if the barrel was mounted. They shoed me another set and i got that instead.
If i need parts, i go there, screw ordering online for something so simple i can buy long time at aex

Okay, I don't PERSONALLY shop here... But my husband practically lives here! He has developed quite a relationship with the AEX guys and of course a love for the sport as well. These guys are very knowledgeable and super friendly. It's a great place to hang out and talk Airsoft as well.
My son goes in with my husband and they are really cool with him and play with him. He loves going to AEX too!
I have bought a gift certificate from AEX as a surprise for my husband. Sean (one of the employees...) talked to my husband the same day and KEPT MY SECRET! It was one of the few times I've been able to surprise my husband! Now that is great customer service!

I probably should have my husband fill out this part of the review, since I'm no pro, but I'll give you what I know...
They sell it ALL people! Guns, Guns, Guns! Automatic, Semi-Automatic, Handguns, etc. They sell all kinds of upgrades for faster FPS, cool bodies, and accesories.
Gear? They got it! T-shirts? Yep. Hats? Yep Yep!
Great service techs who KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Got a broken gun? It won't fire? Misfires? Bring it on down (in a bag or case, please) and they will take care of you! They will get it right!
Wait times can be long (especially if there is a big game coming up), so don't dilly dally around! Bring it in!
Also lots of used guns for sale on their board (by the front door). If you want to get into the sport but don't want to unload serious cash, get a gun used and try it out!
I've bought so much crap from this place it's not even funny.
