My husband and I went parasailing with Airscapes Parasail run by Anita and Richard. We were going to parasail on Lake Travis so we met at VIP Marina right by Volente Beach Waterpark. They were very friendly and informative since it was our first time. Anita geared us up while Richard drove the boat and got the parasail ready.
If you want pictures from the air and the boat, bring two cameras! Anita will gladly man one camera and take pictures of you while you're up in the air and you can take your own pictures from the air if you want to.
It was the perfect day (even though it was Friday the 13th) and the ride was great! Definitely check them out if you can. -

Oh my, how could I have forgotten what I did on my last burfday?
How could para-sailing be bad?
I mean I guess if you flew off into another city or fell out of your parachute that would be bad. But nothing of the sort happened! Wonderful husband and wife couple who took the time to explain everything possible to relieve any jittery nerves. They certainly made it tons of fun with their attention to detail and the way they take care of everything for you. Loved the actual parachute "fall", it was like floating on clouds! It is quite a peaceful experience and of course beautiful - I will certainly be looking for a way to para-sail when I go to Costa Rica (I think I'm an addict already).
We were not up the full time we should have been which is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.Listed in: ZZZZzzzzzzz, No Droopin' Booty ...

I wanted to get my adventurous boyfriend a fun gift for his birthday. We have already skydived and the man literally has everything. This was a perfect bday present. Richard's wife was away for a family emergency but he brought Mike along. They were so nice and helpful and actually pretty funny. The boat and equipment were state of the art and I felt very safe the whole time. The ride was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun afternoon experience. Afterwards, we were able to walk right over to a nice little outdoor bar for drinks and food (In the Volente Beach Waterpark, you don't have to pay admission if you are just sitting at the bar). It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Airscape Parasail ROCKS!

My girlfriend and I went parasailing this past weekend. We had a blast. Anita and Richard were great hosts. We definitely recommend it and look forward to going again!

Great experience, fun for the family. We went up in two groups, two adults then three children. The proprietors are wonderful, the equipment is marvelous and the experience is flawless. Mind you, it isn't cheap and if you have any trouble with motion sickness, you'll need to take precautions.
