Review from Bryan A.
This business serves as my dog food provider. I consider my two Labrador Retrievers my children so I want to feed them quality dog food. After doing the research on http://dogfoodanalysis... (I do highly suggest you look up your current dog food on this site), I've found a 6 star premium dry food (Orijen Adult). Airport Pet just happens to be my local place to carry it. Swinging in is usually pretty quick and they have all sizes of dog food bags. They also have a "Buy 10, Get 1 Free" program which is nice when you are buying pricey dog food.
I haven't used any of the other services here but they do have pet boarding it seems. I will say the manager / owner is a really nice guy. I went in to get food and it started to downpour rain outside and he adamantly volunteered to run the food to my car in the rain. Super nice guy! -

Don't take your loved pet here. If you do it will be staying in an environment with some sick uncared for puppies. It will also be cared for by poorly trained employee's who are just punching a clock, as opposed to having a love of animals. Turnover of staff is constant.

Review from Dina R.
Cave Creek, AZ
Originally, I had a pretty decent experience with this place. My little dog loves to run and play, and their runs are pretty spacious. This time, however, I couldn't have picked up my pups fast enough.
My roommate dropped my dogs off for me as I had to leave for Austin early. I was in a business meeting with a huge client and they must have called me at least 8 times. 8! They weren't calling due to an emergency, or because my roommate hadn't provided them info- they were asking the most mundane questions.
'Does your dog have a green toy with her?'
'When are they leaving?'
'Does Teddy have a leash?'
Umm, really? Look in their BAG. Ask the person standing in front of you who brought the dogs. I had to apologize profusely to my client because the pet hotel attendant was completely incompetent.
The next morning, I'm off to the convention hall and I get another call-
'I'm sorry ma'am, I was just calling to see why you didn't bring your dogs in last night?'
WHAT?! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? My dogs are in. They are there. Go look right now.
'Oh, I'm sure that if you brought them, they're here. They just haven't been checked in.'
I insisted the woman go and physically see both of my dogs, in their runs, healthy, happy, and present. She left for about 3 seconds- definitely not long enough to walk back to the dog area- and came back and told me they were. OK, fine.
I get back from Austin a few days later, incredibly sick and call in advance to have the dogs ready when I get there. They ask me if my dogs came with any toys or beds- haven't we covered this already? Of course we did, but they have three new staff members and apparently the training consists of taking care of a stuffed animal to qualify for employment. By the way, I'm told 'Reese ate her leash so she doesn't have one now.'
First- why was my dog alone on a leash long enough to eat it. Shouldn't she be...I don't know...supervised? Second, it's not just a regular dollar store leash. It's a gentle leader- those things are not cheap.
After 10 minutes of searching everywhere for the rest of my dogs toys, bed, etc, I gave up. The place smelled TERRIBLE- I get there's a ton of dogs there, but how about cleaning up after them? No? I feel bad for the poor pups for sale sitting in their own pee.
I called the next day and spoke to a manager, Nicole, who was very kind, but really at that point couldn't have done anything to salvage the situation. She took a percentage off the bill (about $3/day per dog), and apologized and told me she'd talk to her staff. I appreciate her willingness to listen, but the employees really, REALLY need to learn how to handle dogs and customers. You can't let them run around eating things they shouldn't, unsupervised, rolling in their own urine. Not cool.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Ad V.

I bring my Basset Hound he every time we go on vacation. It has a wharehouse vibe but they take the dogs out often and even offer play time! I love that I can pick him up at 1am and even drop him off early around 5 am. The staff is great and even remember how much my dog eats and his favorite pals to play with =) Its a kennel so it smells like a kennel but not horrible. I know my dog has a great time and its easy to afford and accomodates my schedule. GREAT STAFF! Even when I needed to buy him a few toys before I left the girls in the store knew who he was. It just made me feel like he is cared for and loved not just walked and put away. Highly Recommend!
