I stayed here for one night. Keep in mind that...
Really close to the airport, like you could see it from the window. They have very comfortable beds, I slept on it like a baby... Their water pressure on the shower has a bit to be desired. Their continental breakfast was divine. If I was in SLC again, I would deff stay here. -

I came out to SLC to house hunt as my job is moving me here, the free WIFI was in and out of service, I had to go down to the desk twice to have it re-set. The breakfast was okay. The waitress was nice....It was a mix of services, some of the people at the front desk were nice and professional while others where eating and taking personal phone calls. If I hadn't booked through Expedia, I would of changed hotels.

I was a fan of The Airport Inn Hotel. The beds were very comfortable! After driving for 12+ hours on a road trip, we slept like babies. The complimentary breakfast was good. It was served at the Chinese Restaurant. Remember to bring a few bucks in cash for the tip as it is a 'sit down' style!

I stayed here for 4 nights during my recent trip to SLC. Keep in mind that it is not a resort hotel in Hawaii. It is a well-used hotel within sight of the airport and 10 minutes from downtown SLC.
There is ample parking in front of the hotel and in back. Like other people have said, there is a pool and spa literally right in the lobby, which you will notice as soon as you walk in the front door. The check-in staff were always friendly. Breakfast for two was included in the $50 http://Hotels.com rate. You just need to get a new coupon every morning at the front desk. The breakfast was not your typical continental breakfast. It is a cooked-to-order deal in the attached restaurant with one egg any style, hash browns, toast or english muffin, coffee, and bacon or sausage. If you want something else from the menu, the coupon will get you $2 off. Service was decent, and we always tipped between $4 and $6.
The rooms are small, so if you have a big group, you might feel crowded. Rooms were always clean, but the carpet could use a deep-cleaning. The beds are great; they have pillow-top mattresses which I appreciated after a hard day of skiing.
All in all, I would stay here again if I ever travelled to SLC again. -

Not great. Delta had to comp me a room and this is what they gave me. The staff was nice but the place was grubby and for some reason my room was a black hole for cell service. Bottom line, if it's all you can afford it will do, but man the whole place needs an over haul!

This is a long story... Delta stuck us here... Breakfast staff was super friendly and the food at least was paid by Delta. Tje place was clean and the beds were restful. The experience with Delta was horrible but this hotel ended up being a relaxing sleep. They were a bit slow in picking us up, I had to call them.

I obviously had one of the worst rooms.
First i'd like to say the staff was super helpful & so pleasant.
But i'm pretty sure I saw a hooker when I was checking in. I mean whatever, do you boo.
My room was gross. Seriously there we're semen stains on the chair, the shower faucet was rusted & looks like it hadn't been cleaned for over a month, there was a hole in my bathroom wall by my feet that was plugged up with tissue....tissue?! REALLY!? My outlets by the sink which had my phone & flat iron both kept going out.
I was very disappointed, I could have taken my $55 and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express or something else with express in the name.
Pros is there's a free shuttle to the airport, free breakfast & the bus stop is only a few feet away. -

from the outside, this hotel looks like a crappy $50 dollar a night place where you might see a movie recorded at. it just looks like druglords owned it in the 70's and then moved on and nobody after that took care of it.
on the inside, it still looks like druglords used to own it. The swimming pool and lobby are ummm, in the same airspace? you can jump from the restaurant-bar into the pool if you wanted to, then get out of the pool and instantly be in the lobby. my dad joked and said "we found the place for your wedding party" because if i was throwing a frat party, this place would be perfect.
the rooms are boring, the bed sucks, i'm laying on it right now in pain. the sheets feel like sandpaper, definitely below 300 threadcount :)
