Everything about Airmont Eats is amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious, the decor is really pleasant and, best of all, the staff is always so nice. I highly recommend this place.

Wouldn't deliver to a place 0.8 Miles away because it did not meet the crazy minimum of $30.00. We are not impressed with this place of business, we have shredded the menu and as a company will not be eating here anymore... CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!

I stopped here after they first opened, for lunch on the way to work and got two sandwiches (one for dinner). The place is enormous, the brick oven is pretty cool and they have a couple of plasma TVs for customers to watch. My sandwiches came in two large plastic trays that were more than large enough to hold a ham & cheese on rye. I thought to myself that some old fashioned butcher paper would have been fine. When I got to the register with my plastic trays, the cashier pulls out a large paper shopping bag similar to what one would get from Macy's or Bamberger's, again way too big for my order. I guess they're not environmentalists here. My sandwiches were good, the cold cuts fresh but the portion was a little light especially for the roast beef & American cheese hero for premium price of $7.50. I don't mind paying a little extra, but it should go toward the food and not plastic boxes and enormous shopping bags. Also at the cash register I asked for a takeout menu and was told they don't have them yet? All of this I attribute to growing pains as the place is so new it still has wet paint. I will definitely give them another shot as it is SO CONVENIENT. Kudos on a great location.

I am pleasantly surprised how good this place is! The sandwiches are all good and they make salads to order. Their balsamic vin is very good. Their bean and tuna salads are delicious and the staff is attentive and friendly. I love their food and this place was my haven for breAks in between class.
Only reason it's not 5 stars is bc I don't love the seating room, reminds me of a warehouse but thAts just me -

I had to update my review since June of last year since I have frequented Airmont Eats as my "go to joint" when I don't want to cook. The owner of the place is kind and generous and is always handing out samples of things to try. The Gina's pasta is my all time favorite, their wraps and sammys always good. But as of Sunday, my new fave is their Mexican Margherita pizza with the right amount of heat, spices, cheese and bread, I have officially voted it the best pizza in Rockland County.

Honestly, we only went in to scope out the place and see what they have. The decorative setup in the entranceway is cute and the decor inside is fun. We came upon a handwritten sign that advertised the Worlds Greatest Banana Pudding.
Thats a pretty big claim. We bought 2 larges to properly judge.
Let me preface my review by saying that I love banana pudding. LOVE. I'm also a critical b*tch about it. I'm a pastry chef and of course believe that MY BP is the world's greatest.
I'm also honest and will tell you if something is better than mine. This wasn't. The pudding had too much whipped cream in it and there weren't enough layers of bananas & Nillas between all the pudding. On a positive note, I think I detected a caramel note? Nice touch.
I'd definitely go back to try the pizza! -

Very nice decor for a LOHUD suburb stripmall. Wide selection of choices of pizza, deli, salad bar, yuppie snacks, and even kebabs. All was tasty except for a few old lettuce greens in my salad. Reminds me of the pseudo-southern country store popping up all over.

A charming place with excellent service, fresh variety of gourmet foods, and friendly staff.
Boardwalk fries were EXCELLENT, "To kill for" as my mom put it. The gentleman at the register treated us to an order as he had talked us into getting them & we were so glad he did! They were eaten before we got home. The salad was very tasty, great dressing, one or two wilted leaves are all that kept me from giving this place five stars. Lentil soup was fresh, likely homemade & very tasty. White pizza was smothered with stretchy fresh mozzarella, nice amount of garlic. We watched as they prepared it fresh for us & put it right in the pizza oven - the crust could have been a little crisper but overall very very good. Tried the banana pudding and found it delightful, closest I've come in the north to the real banana puddings I had living in the south during college. Their selection of chips & beverages even seems hand chosen - I had a bottle of lemon ginger mash that was super refreshing!
All in all this is an excellent nplace to pick up some dinner, huge variety, super nice & attentive people, great value. We'll be back.
