Neighborhood: Lake BalboaI used to live in Encino and on a few occasions - when my fridge and then water heater broke - used Airflow to fix my appliances.
Let me tell you - these guys were great! Always on time, very professional, quick to diagnose and repair the problem. They talk to you, explain how things work and what it will take to fix. Unlike some other techs out there, they were polite and courteous.
Their manager followed up on both repairs and offered me a discount to use in the future as a return customer. When I mentioned that I was moving to Orange county soon he told me that the company has offices all over and it wouldn't be a problem if I needed their services again. Eventually I will... And what a relieve - I don't have to do any more research to find a reliable appliance repair company!
Took them four weeks and three visits to fix a simple appliance.
Paid the $250 for the initial service fee, then was told they'd have to order the part and it would be there in a few days. A week later, WE have to call them to follow up.
Days later, they send someone out. Oops - wrong part again. Goes back. Supposedly orders another part - once again, we have to call when we don't hear from them, even though they said they'd call us. When we did call, the part "just arrived today".
Then they completely flaked on TWO appointments - and their appointment windows are 3 hours - so here we are waiting at home for 3 hours and they never show up.
FINALLY, 3.5 weeks later, they have the correct part and actually show up. (Keep in mind this whole time they had 1) our broken dishwasher part and 2) our money - so we couldnt easily go elsewhere).
They gave us a 15% discount for the hassle, but I would have rather paid that extra 15% (about $25) and gotten some decent customer service - like some follow up phone calls and a friendly, apologetic attitude.
Horrible, horrible customer service. We will NOT be using them again. EVER.
