Awesome!  Good wine, we bought four bottles.  A shout-out to Cricket, who poured for us.  Great sense of humor, the tasting staff seemed to really enjoy their jobs.  If you go to Vintner's Village for a tour, hit this one up first as they tend to get really busy as the day wears on.

My husband and I are regular visitors of the Airfield tasting room in Woodinville so when we visited Prosser recently we were sure to try their Prosser tasting room.  It was so much fun.  They have a very nice outdoor seating area, the staff is so friendly and the wine as always was wonderful!  They have a large selection of wines at various price points.  We prefer reds but are always surprised how much we love the white wines at Airfield.  Their blends are also so good.  I always take an bottle of Airfield with me when going to a dinner party because I know everyone will love their wines.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, attentive and down to earth. Bombshell is a very good red blend, dessert late harvest Riesling good aroma and flavor

Super friendly service, I loved the way our wine pourer person (there's gotta be a better term, but I'm new to wine tasting and I don't know what that term is) described the wines. She used terms along with hand motions which made us laugh, ("the shaky thing"). The wines are fairly priced (we live close to Sonoma so we suffer sticker shock every time we buy wines from the wineries). My favorites are still dessert/sweet wines. Their late harvest Gewurztraminer is a winner.

Friendly service but could be more knowledgeable.  Charming facility, generous free tasting.  I have not been wowed by the wines but the rose is good, and the exclusive wines are great but only available to wine club members.

Airfield is by far one of my very favorite wineries.  The staff is made up of some of the region's most approachable and friendly people.  Their wine knowledge is impeccable, yet quite understandable.  As a fairly recent transplant to the area, I only started to truly appreciate wine in the last year.

Airfield is one of the many wineries in Prosser, but has one of the nicest facilities.  Their recent Merlot is nothing like other local merlots.  It's a little more fruit-forward on the palate and is very drinkable, even for those who prefer something a little less bold. They pride themselves on their flavorful blends, and each is impeccably created.

Airfield hosts a foot stomp in October, which is made into new year's Foot Stomp Rose'.  For white wine drinkers looking to just wet their toes in a red (no pun intended), this is the perfect wine.  It's sweet and full of flavor.  The foot stomp itself is a ton of fun, and an experience true to Washington's Wine Country. (It wasn't as comical as the famous LUCY episode, but it's been one of my favorite and most memorable experiences in the area!)

For a memorable and pleasant experience in tasting wine, you MUST try Airfield.  They really do have the friendliest staff in Prosser, and some of the best wines in the state.

We are members here. Have been for the past year. I stop in anytime I come through for work and pick up a couple bottles and get a taste or two or three.

The first time we ever came in was the first time we had ever been wine tasting. We met the owner, Mike, and he was fantastic. We were a little uncomfortable visiting these tasting rooms at first, but visits with people like Mike really changed all that. He was full of great information and a ton of stories. A family of farmers turned wine makers. And make wine they do! Some of the best we have had in the valley.

We have met most of the team by now and they are all very nice. We recently got a white in our shipment (we are a red only member here) and I mentioned it at our last visit. I just wanted to be sure we were in their computer correctly. They verified that we should have gotten all reds and someone must have packed it wrong. No problem. I went on with my tasting on the Reserve Cab. The next thing I know - I have a bottle of the missing red (an 06 Reserve Syrah!) in a bag in front of me.

Great customer service and a really cool family business that I am proud to support.  They are dog friendly (there is almost always one in the tasting room), have "foot stomp" parties where you can get involved in making the wine you love to drink! There is a great private tasting room that can be rented. Ask to see it. It is out of this world cool!

Thanks from one Miller family to another. Brothers from another mother!
I can't wait to get my hands on some of that new Reserve Cab that is waiting to be bottled!

This winery is definatley a delight.  They have such a fun atmosphere.  Each time I have visited I have enjoyed myself.  They have a very sweet desert wine to top off your visit.  Definatley take the time to visit this winery if you are winetasting in the area.  Oh, and the entrance is in the back of the building.

Airfield Estates was our last stop of the day, as they are open until 6 pm.  There wasn't a tasting fee and there were at least 20 wines to choose from.  It was quite crowded when we got there, and one of the servers led us to the back corner of the bar where we received stellar service.  I was practically standing behind the bar, and nobody told me to get out of the way.  Very fun personalities, both among wine pourers and clientele.  I really liked the slightly off-dry Pinot Gris.  The reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was very, very smooth.  The Aviator was a blend of Cab Sauv/Merlot/Cab Franc/ Malbec/ Petit Verdot, and so good just on its own.  My absolute favorite was the Hellcat, a blend of Temparnillo, Grenache and Syrah. The wine was delicious and the attitude was all fun, though after a full day of wine-tasting, most everyone is likely to be in a good mood!

3.5, really, but I don't want to ruin their rating since wine is such a subjective thing. My daughter and I both preferred the whites, which were characterized by a racy acidity, even varietals that tend to be oakier and creamier. Not necessarily a bad thing. We both happened to like the pinot gris quite a lot (we each bought one), and the wines were all priced very well. After trying two reds, we skipped the rest. Our palettes are tuned to Northern California's lush fruit for reds and these seem to follow the French style: all tannic leather.Still, this is one of the best options in this wine "mall" and an interesting look into the region.

Cool gimmick and nice building now if they can find out how to make some wine here.  Nice to relax but the wine just didn't impress anyone in my group, that's a bad sign since we all have different tastes...

One of our favs.  Variety of interesting wines (whites, reds, and rose), cool atmosphere, neat labels, and importantly, a nice winery dog. :-)  Seriously, though, these are drinkable, affordable wines.  Highly recommend Airfield!
