This is a smaller brewery on the west end of Miramar Road as your heading to La Jolla.
Out of their selections, my favorite is the Altitude which is an APA compared to the IPA's that I normally enjoy. While this is a nice attempt of a comparison, it is not the same and does not bring out the hops as I'd hope for. I understand that their intent is to come out with an IPA and I look forward to giving that a try.
None the less, it is a very cool brewery and I have to say that I'm glad this opened after our office otherwise I could have seen myself spending a lot of time at this location.Listed in: Adults Only

Airdale Brewery is no more.
Bummer cause I did like some of their beers. Might have closed due to cost associated when you contract brew.
Note: Contract brewing means your beer is brewed by another company. -

Airdale is the real deal! I have sampled some of the different varieties at The Cask Room (see review) and they are awesome! Definitely NOT boring nor generic. You can tell they really work hard to make the tastes unique...as Lucas O stated in his review you really can tastes the layers of flavors as you sip it.
Perhaps the coolest thing about Airdale is that if you go in to the Cask Room to sample one of the Airdale brews, you just might run into Tony, the creator as he lives nearby! -

this place doesn't seem to exist anymore. I went to the address and they had nothing but a truck yard there. If it is there, they certainly are not looking for visitors.

This beer is GOOOD! I love it and get it whenever I can. I even keep a keg at my house. The Alitude Pale Ale is my favorite, but I also like the Afterburner and Dark and Stormy. I don't even normally like Hef's, but I really like their Horizon Hef, great for hot summer days. I live in North County, so sometimes I have the Afterburner at Pizza Port in Solana Beach or catch the Dark and Stormy on rotation at the Encinitas Ale House. The D & S is killer with food. I'm an admitted beer snob and Airdale is at the top of my list. I can't wait for them to release an IPA.
