This place was so sweet! It's a little outside of town but worth the drive. It was one of the best experiences doing a tour i've ever had. Totally out of the box, interesting, and beautiful. The guy who did the tour had a great sense of humor and I liked his approach of getting everyone involved. Do this tour! Oh and its a third of the price of the other airboat tours you find in town.

The best swamp tour. Arthur was hilarious and kept us either giggling or guessing what he was saying for 90 minutes.
When we didn't see a 'gator in Arthur's regular places he took an affront to the lack and decided to go out farther to find some for us to see.
On the way back, he stopped alongside a road/culvert and helped me onto the seat to view a HUGE alligator on the other side.
He knows his stuff. His wife is a sweetie. If you do ANY airboat tour, do this one.

Great people. Awesome boat. Fricken fun. We'll be back in the summer when the gators are out.  Even in the winter we saw the Nutria and a small gator up close.  These guys are the real deal and know that swamp well.  The only thing I wish we had done more of was the fast turns at high speed.  Thinking back, they probably would have if we asked.

We started the morning looking for a plantation - with 10 people and a case of bud light packed in a mini van. We missed the exit for this plantation and kept driving, hoping to find something neat - but the exits spaced every 7 miles made it hard to turn around.

Seeing signs for an alligator farm, we followed them and ended up near Baton Rouge at an alligator farm that was shut down - they were now filming a movie there. The firemen gave us directions to another alligator farm about 30 miles away, so we started on our search. After driving another hour, we were ready to call it a day, but knew we were in too deep...

Somehow we ended up in Des Allenends at a gas station and found this airboat company another 10 miles away. Desperate to save the day, we called then at 4:50 (closing at 5), and they promised to wait for us while we drove there.

The airboat tour was definitely the highlight of the day. We got to see a sunset on the bayou and caught a couple swamp rats and Pookie (driver) found us a 4 ft alligator that we got to see up close and personal. One of our friends even got a hands-on lesson on sex identification of reptiles.

If you want an airboat tour, this is the place.
