One of my favorite travel websites (http://www.flyertalk.com) recommended these folks and my lucky Irish leprechaun (I keep him in the hall closet) led me to Kristina. If you are booking to Asia or within Asia, you need to call her (800-883-3273, ext. 226). She is thorough, professional, and dedicated. On airfares where they don't make much commission from the airline, they may tack on a fee of $75 to the ticket, but in my experience this is standard in the travel industry now. Hey, everybody needs to make a living! And the fee is worth it because they save you time, trouble and usually, money too because they get cheaper fares on most international routes.
You do not have to be in San Francisco to use them because they can take credit cards and issue e-tickets wherever you are in the US.
So get off the couch, make some travel plans and start packing! -

WORSE TRAVEL AGENCY EVER! Go with this travel agency if you a) are fond of atrocious customer service b)don't need an emergency contact after hours.c) don't mind being issued a non-existent ticket d)don't mind being stuck in a foreign country without a ticket
I recently booked a trip via Airbrokers and due to their negligence (they admitted to double booking me on a flight), the airline cancelled my reservation! When we tried to address the fact that they issued us a non-valid ticket, they refused to take any responsibility or even apologize for the issue.
Email me directly if you need more information but unless you are fond of rude customer service and non existent tickets being issued to you, I do not recommend them. -

When I was researching buying tickets from Air Brokers Intl. a few months ago, I found only one review here on Yelp and it wasn't too good. Still, after asking my rep at Air Brokers about the review, I decided to go ahead with my purchase. I'm happy to say it was a good choice.
I bought two Asia package tickets from Jeff at Air Brokers - SF to Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, then back to SF (you can read all about the trip on http://OurNewOffice.com).
After making my initial ticket purchase (great price), I contacted Jeff and requested some itinerary changes a few weeks later. Jeff made the changes quickly, and much to my delight, upgraded two of my flights to first class in order to get me on the planes I wanted. Awesome!!
I had no trouble with any of the plans, and Jeff even contacted me to make sure I got through my connection in Bangkok during the recent protests and airport closure. I had to arrange my own flights at the last minute per the airline's policy - they wouldn't officially cancel flights until the day before, and since my flight was on a weekend, no one at Air Brokers was available. Not ideal (a 24-7 customer service number would be), but not bad.
The pricing was excellent (my reason for the 5 star rating), the service was what I expected, and I will try and use them again. If only the booked flights in South America... -

I've used Air Brokers for three trips: two to India, one to Vietnam. I booked business class (but was put into first on two flights) on EVA Air and China Airlines.
The fares were far better than any offered on Expedia, Orbitz, CheapTickets, AmEx, and other sites. I highly recommend this service. -

I am normally a DIY travel planner, so I was skeptical about going through a broker. However after trying to plan a multi segment trip to South East Asia and becoming frustrated at my inability to find a reasonable price, I finally found Kristina at Air Brokers. She not only was able to find me a cheaper ticket, she was incredibly accommodating and patient through the process as I did not have all the details of my trip nailed down. Essentially I told her about how long I wanted to spend in each city and about when I wanted to leave and come back and she did the rest. Not only did she come back to me with a couple of itineraries for me to choose from (Phone + Email communication), she also helped me work through many of the logistics such as visas, border crossings, and travel alternatives (trains, boats, etc). All of which she was able to offer me at a price lower than I was able to find online for the round trip fare! I didn't have any issues with my flights, but I read in these reviews that had I, she would have handled everything for me. Which would have come in very handy given that I don't speak any of the languages of the countries I was traveling in. That alone would have been worth paying a premium. All in all, I can't recommend her or ABI enough. Thank you Kristina!
