I agree with many of the reviews on here, and Amy of Aimee's Way Body & Skin Care is AMAZING.  I was looking for a new esthetician here on yelp, (last minute of course, a week before my wedding....)  Amy not only came in on her day-off to accommodate me, but she helped my tired, dry sensitive skin look and feel incredible.  Amy concentrates on great personal care and attention for her clients.  Not only are her facials relaxing and rejuvenating, the products she uses are healing and restorative.  She introduced me to a wonderful line called Osmosis,  and my skin loves it!  It has hydrated and infused my skin back to a healthy, "happy" state, just in time for my wedding.

Her spa is small, and warm, and very clean and articulately decorated.  She also shares her spa space with her Pilates and Yoga studio.  It has a great atmosphere, and the warmth that Amy exudes in her passion for wellness and great skincare only makes the visit even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend Amy for your skin care needs!

I love the pampering spa experience as much as the next gal, but let's face it - fancy aromatic $200 facials are all about the relaxation, and not so much about actual skin care. When I looked in the mirror and saw the dreaded, unmistakable signs of aging I freaked out and decided it was time to see a real skin care professional.

Amy at Aimee's Way is the BEST. Her spa is small and cozy, nicely decorated, clean and relaxing. She only uses premium organic products, and doesn't try to push and up-sell them, which I adore - nothing ruins a post-facial buzz like peer pressure and a sales pitch! But most of all, Amy is a fantastic person and a true professional - she really cares about and knows what she is doing - plus she is a blast to talk to! Can't recommend her highly enough.

Aimee's Way is different from your average salon.  It's a small owner operated establishment so you get a lot of personal attention and care.  The spa focus is on skin care and lymphatic massage (no waxing) and I find it's PERFECT for someone who is serious about skin care.

I actually consider Aimee's to be more of a spa-clinic though there is no official Rx association.  But her perspective and approach to skin care along with her experience and especially the RESULTS I have had are similar to the medi-spa treatments that I have received elsewhere.  Her office is small but like others have noted, very clean and comfortable.

I've had problem reactive skin since adolescence and have seen many dermatologists, tried many Rx prescriptions and treatments including Dr. office chemical peels and microdermabrasion, had many salon facials, tried many products including spa brands like Dr. Babor and OTC like ProActiv and Murad and Rx stand-bys like Retin-A and Tarzorac.

I've done A LOT to my skin and come to realize that not only is there is no quick fix, but a lot of junk just makes the problem worse or not worth the money for the limited results and side effects.

So it was SO REFRESHING to meet Aimee.  She has a professional but also 'warm fuzzy' attitude about her work.  Her approach is holistic and non-aggro and all about working with the skin and not forcing it.  Between her care and the Atzen products my skin has seen a WONDERFUL turnaround.   I had horrible hormonal and stress related breakouts at the end of the summer and they immediately responded to my first visit wth Aimee by calming down.  My skin is continuing to clear up and it feels healthier and less reactive/allergic prone.  The best part is NO crazy fugly period that my skin usually has when starting a new routine.

I almost don't want to give Aimee a review because if she gets any more popular it'll be hard for me to get to see her, and I need my routine skin care fix!  Aimee and Atzen products are now part of my regular skin care regime in the South Bay.

I have been to may different aestheticians before, and Amy is absolutely the best!! I have sun damaged skin with spots, scars, and I also get insane breakouts.  After every visit, which is usually every 4-6 weeks, she has really improved my skin so much that people often compliment me on my complexion.

Amy truly knows all the sciences behind the skin, and finds ways to help maximize the appearance of it.   She does an exceptional job of personalizing her treatments to cater your needs.  She also uses all of  the latest technology in improving the overall appearance of your skin from lymphatic messages to LED light Therapeutic Treatments as promoted even on Oprah.   More importantly, she isn't pushy in trying to sell products, nor does she treat your skin like the next persons.  She genuinely cares about her clients, and I LOVE how she explains what she's doing, and why it's important for your skin.  Overall, she's worth every penny (and her prices are very reasonable), and I trust her completely with my skin!

Aimee's Way is a cozy spa / clinic / studio. The small entryway greets you with beautiful canvas paintings, lush carpeting, and a small, discreet sign that reminds you to take off your shoes. Farther in are the machines and equipment that Aimee uses for her Pilates and yoga classes.

I came today for a massage / facial / lymphatic drainage. Not only did I fall asleep three-quarters-of-the-super-relaxing-way-through, apparently I also snored. Nice -- and further proof of the delight of this unpretentious gem tucked into the trees.

Aimee herself is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The massage was incredibly relaxing (not so much therapeutic for deep knots, but I came especially for the relaxation anyways) and her robe was particularly luxe. Ok, it's a tiny thing, but other, far more expensive places treat you to the entire range of luxury... and then give you a raspy terrycloth robe. Aimee truly notes the small details.

The facial was amazing and began with multiple cleansings, none of which dehydrated my dry skin. She did extractions, a mask, gentle massage, and was very liberal with her use of Sothys (I think?) products. Unlike other spas, however, she never pushed them beyond showing me the bottle at one point and mentioning how much one like it might cost. I think I liked that most of all. Many estheticians don't know how to read people and quickly transition from pitching a product to a mildly interested customer to completely repulsing said customer with a hard sell.

The lymphatic drainage, too, was relaxing, though much less pressure than I would have thought. It is surprising that such gentle pulses of suctioning can move the lymph fluid along.

I left feeling refreshed with soft, smooth skin, and absolutely no redness. Two thumbs and all my toes up for Aimee!

I went to see Aimee for her soothing lymphatic massage treatment, but eventually tried some her other services as well. Her Arms and Shoulders Massage is okay, nothing special. Her facials are pretty good, but some of her products caused acne for me. I told her I had very sensitive skin and that most facial care products cause problems for me. I have been using proactiv for years and have no acne problems as long as I stay on it and I had no acne when I went to Aimee. Still, she wanted to "get me off the chemicals" and urged me to put a couple hundred bucks into her Atzen line. I bought, but asked her if she would take it back if it started causing problems, because I am not willing to go through an "ugly period" or "purge" that causes nasty acne (FYI, My dermatologist says that the whole concept of an acne type "purge"  when switching facial products is complete nonsense and that is a lie of the cosmetics industry, she says that acne is not caused by "purging", it is caused by clogged pores, trapped bacteria, and inflamation. The inflamation that results from switching products is due to contact dermatitis or basically an allergic reaction. She says that when using the right product, your skin is able to purge impurities without an acne reaction because the impurities are released without trapping bacteria or causing a reaction of inflamation).

Aimee said she would do a credit, not a refund. Fine. She also told me to let her know right away if problems started because she once had a woman literally empty the bottles of product and then return them for a refund. Fine. I won't empty the bottles and then try to return them. I bought her products, after a couple of uses, I had a rash type reation as well as acne and called her to let her know. I brought the (barely used) products to return them on my next visit, but when I brought it up, she decided she didn't want to take them back and got kind of nasty, telling me that she never said she would take them back. I don't know if she forgot her promise or if she is just a dishonest person, but I haven't been back. It was a shame, I liked Aimee and she lost a good customer.

I have been a client of Amy's for nearly 3 years now, and I recommend her to everyone and give friends and family Amy gift certificates for birthday and holidays. Her new microcurrent facelift machine gets fantastic results and is well worth the investment. You haven't had the royal treatment until you've been to Aimee's Way.

As a small business owner, and client of Amy's, I can say that she provides excellent and reasonable customer service, with a holistic approach. She takes the time to get to know you and evaluate your skin and lifestyle. Her facials are very relaxing and her focus is always on the client. Atzen works well for me; my rosacea has calmed down tremendously. People should feel comfortable investing in their skin care products as well as services with Amy. She rocks!

I bought a facial through one of the coupon websites for a 90 min. facial. First I called to get an appointment but Amiee didn't answer so I left a message and she never called me back. Then I called after couple days again to schedule. Her appointment times were so limited that I just couldn't get the time that suited my schedule but forcibly had to make changes to my schedule to pick a time that fits HER schedule. Shouldn't you be doing business to accommodate clients since they are PAYING YOU for the services????

Anyways I made the appointment for 4:00PM like two weeks in advance but then same day of my appointment, in the morning I got called to work so I called her right away to see if I can come later or another day because I just couldn't get out of my work situation. I was so surprised by her rude attitude. She told me she has very strict 24 hour cancellation policy and she cannot reschedule my appointment. I told her I can come any day anytime and I would really appreciate it if she can accommodate me on another day but she was not willing to make any kind of adjustment. She told me that I can only come the same day before 6 since she takes some class after that. I told her I get off work at 5 and the soonest I could get to her is at 5:30 and to my surprise she told me that yea then I can see you at 5:30. I was like "ummmm my facial is supposed to me 90 min which I paid for and you are telling me you'll give me half an hour????" She said "I cannot do anything for you. I stick to my policy and if you cant make it I don't know what else to tell you". I requested her again that things happen at last moment so she should be more understanding about it. She said to me "if you cant keep your appointment all I can do is honor the same deal next time you want to come but you would loose your voucher for this visit". I was like "so I paid for the facial which will be waste and then I pay for it again which means I am paying double the price for the facial!!" I told her that this is no way of doing business especially when a client is coming to you for the FIRST TIME!! To this she replied that "WELL IT IS MY BUSINESS AND I'LL DO IT THE WAY I WANT TO!"
She is definitely the most RUDE and NON-ACCOMMODATING person I have ever come across. Even if I got free facials for life to this place I'LL NEVER EVER GO HERE. I am glad I didn't give my business to you and got to know your attitude even before coming in.

Amy is wonderful! I just recently went through major surgery (mastectomy) and her lymphobiology treatments have been my saving grace. It's only been a few days and I have experienced no swelling or discomfort. My doctors are amazed as to the rate of my recuperation. Amy is also an expert at skin care - helping me keep my skin hydrated and smooth. My daughter also has seen Amy for her eczema and other various skin problems, the results have been spectacular. My appreciation and gratitue to Amy is boundless. I'm sure that you will agree once you start treatments with her.

Aimee is just great.  I went based on the great reviews on Yelp, and everyone was so right.  As I hit my *cough* mid-thirties *cough* I was alarmed to see that I had begun to break out a lot.  I thought I had dodged the acne bullet because my teen years weren't too bad, only to have bad breakouts once I got older.  I had been getting facials at different places, but nowhere made a big difference until Aimee.  She let me know that I didn't need to clean more harshly, but rather hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.  I began doing that, and my skin cleared up almost immediately.  I did buy the products she recommended, and have been going in for once a month facials.  A few days after my last one, I had a person ask if I had graduated yet.  It warmed this old lady's heart to be confused with with a college student!
