    THE PLACE:
The resort is older but well maintained.
Not as many pools as other resorts close by BUT:

    YIPPEEE:
Oh my god, you have to get one of those spa rooms - they are SO cool!
Your own PRIVATE pool in your room

    Room comes w:
           Fridge & microwave
Full toiletries (deodorant, razors, shampoo, etc)
           They've really thought of everything

    The staff are super friendly
    Good location
Super market, Kmart, & lots of quick eats close by

    BOOO:

My husband booked this place for our getaway for my birthday. We wanted a low key birthday this year since I found out a week prior that I was pregnant. This place gave me that opportunity to relax. I couldn't stay in the hot tubs too long but they were nice. The pool isn't all that great, they said it's mineral water, but it just smell likes chlorine to me, so I'm not sure how "all natural" the water really was.

The room was spacious and nice but the bathroom was a little small. The place is small but well kept.

I don't recommend you go to their downstairs restaurant. We went there for breakfast and they ran out of almost every fruit for my belgian waffles, the orange juice is watered down A LOT! And they didn't put the things I wanted in my omelet, instead, they put it as a "side" umm, do you want your omelet with a side of sausage, cheese and scallions? Anyway, this review isn't about the restaurant, it's about the place in general, which is nice, but definitely not luxurious.

My friend told me this hotel. I went there last week. It was surprised me, the garden is very pretty and peaceful. I stayed in one of the newly refurnished room. The room looks young and hip.
I spent some time around the pool area and soaked in mineral jacuzzi. My skin feel amazing afterwards. The hotel's staff is very friendly and helpful. We spent the whole first day shopping at the Cabazon outlet which is 20 minute away from the hotel. The jacuzzi was a good refreshing after all this shopping.

Oh man, what a hoot! Me & the squeeze took a much needed few days R & R to the newly remodeled Agua Caliente Hotel & Mineral Water Spa! They built 25 or so new suites with in-room jacuzzi's! We had to get one! If anyone has been to Desert Hot Springs, no need to go into how the mineral waters soothe the muscles by magically melting away aches and pains, but this hotel has come a long way over the years; vastly improving! It's first rate customer service is top-notch and everything from the grounds to the rooms sparkle! If you want to go into the public pool and two out door jacuzzi's you'll find friendly people, (mostly couples) out there soaking their bones at all hours of the day & night! Everytime i've gone, the pool people have always been quiet and respectful especially at night! Had a great time recharging the batteries. Count on paying about $175-200. per night for one of the special rooms with jacuzzi. Way worth it! The in-room jacuzzi easily seats 2-6 people. It is seperated from the sitting area of your room by a sliding door that you will have to keep closed due to the chlorine burning your eyes when left open, but the wooden floors in the room are beautifully stained and the room comes with a nice big plasma TV with DVD and all of the modern ammenities you would expect to include the decor & charm of Palm Springs as it was during it's heyday!
