$8.95 for lunch buffet.
I tasted everything and their buffet is plentiful and excellent.
As with some people here, I discovered this place from Keeping up with the Kardashians which featured a scene here.
Highly recommend their food and service is friendly! -
Review from Angelie D.
Arcadia, CA
Had dinner here recently and to my surprise this place was featured on Keeping up with the Kardashian last year. I actually remember the episode! Kris and her bladder problem! Loved it!!!
Garlic Naan- perfect amount of garlic flavor infused in the light airy naan bread! I always need to have this in order to scoop up the marsala sauce!
Chicken tikki marsala is another must! I would have preferred it a little bit more spicy, but I enjoy the creaminess of the dish more!
I tried something new and I forgot what it was called. It was a lamb dish that was pretty spicy. The lamb was very tender and not gamey at all!!! The sauce had a one two punch to it so the rice was needed to tone down the spice level.
I also tried a different kind of basmati rice. It was spinach basmati rice. I can taste a little but of a buttery flavor. I totally LOVED it. I believe that was my favorite dish of the night. Something so simple but yet so flavorful!
Service was average. It was an off night, so I could tell they wanted to just close up the place. Props to my friend who the waiter insisted he knew! hahah -

North Hills, CA
Came here after teaching a capoeira class. We were tired of going in circles and randomly decided I wanted Indian.
The good thing about Indian was that it had a vast menu to satisfy the non- meat and meat eaters of the groups. I personally ordered the Chicken Tikka Misala and Saag Paneer.
The servers were so nice and prompt. They answered any questions that we had of the menu. I loved how the food came on it's own warmer. My food had tons of flavor and not too spicy.
Will be back again. -

A great authentic Indian restaurant with fantastic and genuine service. Our entire office visits Agra at least once a week and enjoys the delicious food and friendly environment. Foysol the restaurant manager's people's skills is great, so is the delicious food. Watch a video clip of the restaurant:

Excellent buffet lunch.
Consistent quality at dinner.
Have tried at least 10 different dishes at various visits and all were very good.
One of my guests had hated Indian food but loved this restaurant and couldn't wait to return
Service was fine and helpful. -

Delivery was fast and fresh! The spinach rice is so good. Had the vindaloo and chicken mahkni and both were exceptional. A little spendy but you definitely get what you pay for. -

The reviews on here are correct. This place was great. Food, service, all of it.
Customer service was over the top and the staff that helped us took pride in their restaurant. We'll certainly go back. There are probably 20 Indian restaurants between our place and theirs but we'll make the drive for great food. -

Reseda, CA
Food is great! Chicken tikka massala, garlic naan, veggie samosas, rice, lamb curry...everything is absolutely delicious! The only complaint I have which isn't really a biggie is that their meal description isn't correct. They say you can make your entree into a complete meal for an extra $4 which includes soup or salad, rice, dessert, and coffee or tea. We always order for delivery and we never get coffee or tea. It's not a big deal, but they shouldn't say it comes with it if it doesn't...

Santa Monica, CA
Hmmmm, was looking forward to a tasty meal. But after waiting more than almost an hour and a half for delivery and the food still not here, the delivery guy lost, the man answering the phone telling us the delivery guy had left the restaurant "45 minutes ago" ...which I find amazing as we are less than two miles from their location....won't be ordering from here any time soon. Definitely not even worth one star.

Service is fantastic! 5 stars for that. Cauliflower bahji dish, okra dish, raita, basmati rice and garlic naan 5 stars each. Lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala too sweet for our tastes. 3 stars. Bummer. All around great place. Highly recommend, especially if you don't mind food on the sweet side. We'll be back. Even if we make it a vegetarian night which we often do enjoy. Those dishes really stood out!

If you want a tasty Indian lunch buffet that is reasonably priced, has friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, then Agra Tandoori is your spot!!
This place attracts the business crowd, the family crowd, and the romantic crowd... I have never been for dinner, but everybody knows that Indian food tastes the best from a lunch buffet... and this place has got it going on!!! -

After all the hype about the Kardashians dining here, I decided to try this place out for myself..
Located in a strip mall on Ventura, it doesn't make you feel like a celebrity hangout at all.. I went in with little expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. They have done up the interiors tastefully. I love the lush couches and indian lanterns hanging all over the place.
We ordered for some paneer tikka and chana masala along with garlic naan. I had no complaints about the food either.. quick service and great quality. It is a little on the pricier side, but you will find it worth it.
Not just another run of the mill indian restaurant. This one is definitely a regular on my list.. -

This review is long overdue, but I'm finally getting around to it. If you really want to experience Indian food the right way, come here. Decided to make a 2 hour drive (we only do this for good food) and man was it worth the drive. We were greeted by the most friendly staff, particularly a gentleman named Frank. When you come to Agra, ask for Frank. He took care of us, we didn't have to ponder over the menu. I completely trusted him and he brought out some of the most delicious Indian food I have ever had. The taste is unmatched. The chicken tikki masala, garlic naan, everything was so good. Frank was gracious enough to bring us a few treats on the house (love that) that were equally yummy. All in all, you won't be disappointed in the deliciousness that is Agra Tandoori. Classified as one of our "spots".

3 and 1/2 stars.
Solid Indian food. Nice selection of dishes, attentive staff. Nice booths.
It is our to go place when we are in the mood of the comforting warmth and flavors of Indian food.
Soup
http://www.yelp.com/us...
The dinner soup is good. It has nice oriental flavors, and is a good way to start the meal
Pickled carrots
http://www.yelp.com/us...
Always spicy, great kick to spread on the papadums.
Appetizer assortment
http://www.yelp.com/us...
Good looking tasty dish. It has fried veggies, samosas, tandoori meats (chicken, lamb...) Th chicken was great. The tandoori flavors were right on. The meat was good but the reconstituted pieces of meat of a skewer were not that good.
The samosas are filled with only potatoes and maybe one pea. They were lacking spices (cumin, peppers...)
Chicken tika masala
http://www.yelp.com/us...
A classic done right. The sauce has flavors and the kitchen will cook it to your spice level. It is creamy but not too heavy. It goes well with the fluffy basmati rice.
Garlic Naan
http://www.yelp.com/us...
A good naan. It is a bit on the thin side but it is delicious dipped in the warm indian sauces.
Mango Icecream
http://www.yelp.com/us...
Extremely orange for mango ( aren't they yellow?). It is sweet and a little gooey but it is a nice way to end the meal.Listed in: Indian Cuisine

WOODLAND HLS, CA
I have only had Indian food twice in my life.. the first time was AMAZING! (In NYC). My husband only had it once at a place we tried in Long Island (NY) and it was gross.. so we decided we didn't like Indian Food.
It is very hard to get my husband to eat something after he decides he doesn't like it. I saw Agra Tandoori on an episode of Keeping Up with The Kardashian's and convinced my husband to give Indian food another shot.
We stopped in for some carry out on our way to Movies on the Green.
we got the garlic naan, 2 veggie samosas, paneer and he got chicken tikki marsala.
Overall it was very very tasty. I didn't really know what to do with the condiments that came with the food but the food was yummy.
The service while waiting was OUTSTANDING! Every single employee made us feel welcome.
Customer service makes or breaks a place for us. I will definitely go back here again and again! -

My friend, who happens to be Indian (he is like my brother), brought me and another friend to Agra Tandoori, I believe it was during the middle of the week, for some lunch. WOW.
I really thought it was delicious! For my first time eating at an Indian restaurant, it was more than I expected. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor and the service. They made me feel like it was "home".....the curry.....mmmmmm. Im craving Indian cuisine and have been ever since.
I plan on bringing my wife here VERY soon.....maybe even tonight! All of their dishes were very flavorful. Cant wait to come back. -

My boyfriend and I were really craving Indian food and didn't want to go to our regular Indian restaurant... We did our research on Yelp and decided to go to this place instead. Let me tell you the 30 min drive was totally worth it!
The food is excellent. We are vegetarians and this place had A LOT of vegetarian options.
My boyfriend and I were very satisfied.
Frank is awesome. He kept checking in on us to make sure we are doing fine. He even gave us a little more rice to take home and FREE ice cream with alcohol in it because he knew we were suppose to go dancing afterwords.
It was delicious.
We really like this place and the people are very friendly. Its a romantic restaurant even though its in a shopping center.
Will definitely go back again and recommend others! -

Absolutely amazing experience!
It was my first time ever having Indian food and I am in love! I had the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. OMG! Delicious! I seriously recommend this place. The food is great and most importantly, the service is phenomenal! I will be coming back here over and over again. Who cares if I'm stuck on the 101 forever. It's worth the drive... -

Calabasas, CA
Great food and great service. Really cozy place. Ask for Frank - what a nice guys. He took real good care of us. The food ingredients were great and MOST OF ALL IT's really clean. i can't stand a dirty restaurant. They boxed up all our left overs and gave us a bit more and treated us great. The kids loved it too. we have 4 kids and they all ate the food. Order the BUTTER CHICKEN with garlic nann. Man it's good. Also the Chicken Tikka masala. That was tasty. And then the cheese with creamy spinach. Yum. Now, they also have buffets during the weekday. We are taking our whole office there from Woodland Hills, ca. The price is very reasonable.
Seriously, FRESH BROTHERS PIZZA in the Commons, in Calabasas, CA should really take some service lesson from these folks. I would never eat at FRESH BROTHERS in pizza. Seriously for 5 pizzas they wanted $110 and the same 5 pizzas at Dominos was $39.10. Talk about a RiP OFF. OMG. NEVER GO TO FRESH BROTHERS PIZZA. -

WOODLAND HLS, CA
My goodness, this place is amazing! My friend and I went here for the first time the other night. Normally we go to A Taste of India in the Topanga and Ventura shopping center (which is great as well), but we decided to try a new place. First of all, the service was some of the best I have ever experienced- bar none! Our server, Sam, was friendly and attentive. At one point he reduced the price of one of the dishes just so we could try his recommendation. After that, he gave us a dessert, free of charge. While we were paying for our meal, we were given a VIP discount card. Even if they hand it out to most of their customers, the fact that we were attended to with such great care means a lot.
The food at this place is absolutely delicious. We got the Chicken Saag, the Tikka Masala, some mixed naan, and the spinach/mushroom rice. Each dish came to the table hot and looking fantastic. Their naan was hands down some of the best I've ever had. It was crispy but soft and doughy all at the same time. The tikka masala, which were told they were famous for, was by no means dissapointing- all of the flavors blended perfectly. Even the presentation of the dishes was impressive. Each entree was delivered atop the heat of a candle in order to keep our food hot and appetizing.
I will definitely be returning here and only hope that it continues to amaze me! -

Glendale, CA
One of the yummiest places in LA for authentic Indian food! So I've become addicted to Indian food since I started dating my bf (who's Indian) and one night we decided to try this place out.
I definitely recommend going here! Here's why
Atmosphere:
Feels very family oriented and cozy.
Comfy booth seating (tables too if you please)
small but still there bar area
Food:
Yummy and yummy and delicious. If my bf thinks its awesome its definitely awesome. We asked for medium spiciness on our food and it was perfect. The chicken tikka was probably the best I've had so far and I loved their naan. The samosas were not my favorite, being a bit too dry, but the peach sauce for them was really good, so I couldn't stop eating.
Service:
Exceptional. Really friendly people who speak understandable English! Our waiter even made us laugh while he told us about the time the Kardashians visited. To top it all off he brought us a free desert each at the end of the night!
The best part? The leftovers became my full lunch the next day, and they had gotten even yummier!

Really good food! Two of us ordered the Dinner for Two combo dinner, including samosa, onion bhaje, 1/2 chicken tandoori, chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, garlic naan and a side of raita. If I was rating the individual menu items I'd give everything 4 stars and 3 stars for the tandoori.
The waiters were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was charming and cozy, and the two of us each had a full meals worth of leftovers, making the whole affair worth the every penny.
I'm definitely coming back here. -

Indian food is intimidating.
Makhani, pasanda, vindaloo, bhuna, madras, tikka, rikki tikki tavi. I think you know where I'm going with this. There are always a ton of options, and if you're new to Indian you have no idea what you might like. In fact, if you are not well seasoned in Indian, you probably still don't know what everything is. I love Indian, but I have come to terms that I may never know.
Enter the buffet. I am absolutely not a fan of buffets. I love the variety, but who wants food that's been sitting out in heating trays? There's something unsavory about it. You immediately lose any hope for fresh taste. That is NOT the case at Agra Tandoori!
I probably wouldn't have tried the buffet if I hadn't noticed the trays being refilled. I'd like to think it was just for me, but I guess it was for everyone else too. Each tray has two items inside, in smaller amounts so it is refilled more often and thus, pretty darn fresh. I went ahead and tasted a bit of almost everything. I was so impressed by their chicken. I tried tandoori, curry, and makhani (I think...).
My god, you guys. So tender and juicy, not at all dried out like one might expect from a buffet. I honestly don't think I've ever had juicier, more flavorful chicken. I can't even begin to describe any Indian dish, except to say tons of flavor. It always feels like such a unique experience.
If you're interested in trying Indian, or if you're looking for a great new place to try out, I really think this is it. I didn't just enjoy everything I tried, I loved it. The buffet here is a great way to get to know the food and what you like without sacrificing freshness and flavor. They've got it down.
Also, the guys working there are super sweet and very happy to see you! They really knocked my socks off, and the top button on my pants. Oops! -

Amazing. Our server, Frank, was so incredibly nice and attentive, and the food was so delicious that we'll definitely be back, even though it's further than several other Indian restaurants. We had the Vegetable Zalfrozi, the Chicken Marsala, the Tandoori Mixed Grill, and two orders of garlic naan, and I wish I could go back two days in a row! Now officially my favorite Indian restaurant.

Canoga Park, CA
Indian cuisine at its finest. If you want the type of place where you probably can't order anything that you won't like, here it is. Their food is so authentic. Their selection of breads is large and definitely made for an adventure of breads and sauces.
We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Karahi, Aloo Paratha, Poori, Rice Pudding, and Kulfi. Ooooh boy this was a meal for royalty. Every went so well together and the sauces were hard to let go to any waste, slopping some up with bread every chance we got.
just magnificent. My new favorite restuarant for Indian cuisine. -

Review from Little O.
Granada Hills, CA
Small little gem on Ventura. Nicely decorated with large masculine red booths and candle light. We were a party of 5 and wanted to wait for a booth so we were temporarily seated at a table and quickly served papadum with chutneys. Our booth was ready after 10 minutes and we were promptly given menus and water.
Lamb curry, Beef Curry, Chicken Tikka and Lamb Saag were delicious. The only let down was the Matar Paneer (which is usually my favorite pick at most Indian restaurants) It was slightly too sweet and the cheese was not flavorful. Nor was the curry it was in. Gulab Jamun and Rice Pudding for desserts were delicious. Not too syrupy and not too heavy.
Staff is super friendly and attentive. My father's Lamb Saag was not as spicy as he wanted. Our waiter asked him what level of heat he could handle. When my dad told him he has a high tolerance for heat, he brought out a sampling of "The Volcano" the hottest curry they have. Very nice of him, it was a pretty decent sized bowl for a sampling and he didn't put it on the bill. We each sampled a small taste and were sweating the rest of the night. My father of course, loved it.
Moderate prices, amazing staff, delicious belly warming Indian fare. -

Review from Jason K.
Tarzana, CA
This place is good; I thought it would be amazing with a capital A when I saw all the 5-star ratings, but it was just good.
I went here with my friend for lunch. We each had the lunch buffet and a coke. The total cost was $21 (great price). I probably tried 6 different entrees. They have the usual Northern-Style cuisine that's typical at Indian restaurants around LA. I probably won't go back simply because there's an Indian restaurant closer to me that's a little better, but I wouldn't complain if a friend wanted to eat here.
There are a lot of good Indian restaurants in LA, so for one to get a great rating from me they've got to have something extraordinary. I want something different from the same 15 dishes I always see. Speaking of which, does anyone know of an Indian restaurant that serves Kerala Paratha in LA? I haven't had it since I was in India.
(On a side note, the city of Agra is a hell hole, and I'm surprised anyone would name a restaurant after that place. I'm assuming they did it because the Taj Mahal is there, but then name it after the Taj, not Agra. Sorry, just my opinion.) -
Review from Sally T.
Encino, CA
Maybe it was because we went for Sunday brunch that we didn't quite share the 5 star ratings that people are giving them.
The food was just OK. It said champagne brunch, but if you didn't ask for it, they don't give it to you. I guess i was wrong in assuming that if it's a champagne brunch, they'll just bring you a glass along with whatever other drinks you ordered?
With a coupon, I think it was $10 pp, which isn't bad considering they have enough variety of dishes.
Of what I remembered, they had
- 2 kinds of rice, regular and basmati,
- some kind of vegetable & bean/lentil soup?
- vegetable/potato samosas, which I liked.
- fritter
- salad -- i didn't have this, so I don't know what dressing they have
- Chicken curry
- saag paneer
- an eggplant dish
- Chana masala
- there might have been a lamb dish
- a fish dish, which the hubby said it's just mushy, but take that with a grain of salt since he likes his fish to be a little undercook.
- chicken masala
- 2 kinds of chicken tandoori; the one with the bones is definitely better
There might be a couple more, but if I didn't eat it, i probably won't remember that it's there.
We went around 11-12pm and the food was almost room temperature, which is not really acceptable. The little fire thing that supposed to keep it warm doesn't even look like it was lit. The hubby is one of those warm food type person, so he wasn't so thrilled about this. -

Review from Sunil R.
I was highly skeptical about an Indian restaurant with a 4.5 star rating in LA after trying all those Indian restaurants up in the Bay area. Well, I am a believer!
The tandoori chicken was outstanding, moist and tasty. The paneer tikka masala was among the best I have ever had and the garlic nan was very good too.
What clinched the 5 star rating was the service. I ordered take out and the guy who took the order and gave it to me when I went to pick up was really sweet. He seemed genuinely worried that I had asked for mild and kept saying Indian has to be at least a little spicy. Really nice guy.
