Morgan was our waiter. He was fabulous. The restaurant was not busy (3 pm- Tuesday), But I found it very pleasant and welcoming. Our combo app was great, the nitro wings were yummy and not scorching hot. The burgers and fries were great. We had lots of games on TVs to watch!! After 2 terrible experiences at the Beehive I was frightened about trying another local joint, but we were quite pleased!!!! :)

I've revised my review of Aggy's. If you'd like to read my original, scathing (and, perhaps somewhat unfair) review, it's below. I'd originally given Aggy's 1-star. However, the owner of Aggy's reached out to me via Yelp and asked me to give the restaurant another chance. I actually give Aggy's a lot of credit for that. I mean, if the owner of a restaurant is smart enough to go onto Yelp, look out for bad reviews, take the feedback and change things to give patrons a better experience, and then try to personally influence the disgruntled reviewer to give the restaurant another chance, it seems to me that the owner is doing something right, and does indeed deserve another chance.
So, I went back to Aggy's this evening, and had a burger and fries and a beer, and watched the first half of the Monday Night Football game.
All the things I'd found deplorable from my first experience are no longer in evidence. Everything worked fine. The servers were good. The big screen TVs and accompanying audio worked just fine. And everyone seemed to be enjoying the big game just fine as well. So, I chalk up my initial bad experience at Aggy's as simply an early hiccup on the part of the restaurant, which had just recently opened, and perhaps didn't have everything nailed down at that time.
I'll be going back to Aggy's whenever there's a big game and I want to watch it on the big screen.

IF YOU LIKE SPORTS, DO NOT GO TO AGGY'S SPORTS GRILL!!!
I just came home from the single worst sports bar experience of my life. I went to Aggy's to get a burger and watch the game with a cold beer in hand. Instead, what I got was George Michael's "Careless Whispers" and Bananarama's "Cruel Summer" blaring at top volume.
No problem... after all, sports bars will bring you your own little remote device to your table, which you can tune into whichever channel you want, so that you can hear the game that's playing on the big screen TV, right? Well, that's only if you go to a real sports bar. Unfortunately, at Aggy's the big screen was tuned to my game, but the audio device was tuned to a game of... golf, playing on another TV. Hey, you know, to each his own, right? Some people love golf. Some people love to watch paint dry. I don't happen to want to watch golf. I wanted to watch and HEAR my ball game. But, nobody at Aggy's could get the device to actually work! So, I'm sitting there, in front of the big screen, watching my ball game, and I have the choice between listening to Bob Costas talk about Tiger Wood's putter, or listening to Bryan Adam's cheese classic, "Summer of '69."
Needless to say, I got the hell out of there as quickly as humanly possible.
DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT GO TO AGGY'S!!!
(I'd read some other random blog post about Aggy's when I tried looking them up on Google, and the blogger said exactly the same thing about the restaurant. I should have listened and avoided the place like the plague!)
Oh, but, I guess the one thing in its favor is that the food was actually good... if you care about that.Comment from Gil B. of Aggy's Sports Grill 9/5/2010

Review from Chef W.
Tempe, AZ
I have been surprised to hear that people have had bad experiences at Aggy's, because when I reported the first time I went that I had good experiences, friends and acquaintances reported having lesser experiences. So I went back this afternoon, and again, I wasn't disappointed.
As a chef, I'm pretty particular about my food. The first time I went, I ordered the Spicy Thai Shrimp with noodles entree, which was fresh, hot, and super tasty. It was different than anything I have ever had--and I've tried a lot of things. Husband got fettucini alfredo, which was also very good (though it probably had too much garlic, because he smelled like it for a few days and it bothered him). But both entrees were delicious, and we experienced excellent service.
Today, I took my in-laws, and we all enjoyed our lunches a lot. Husband and I both ordered the half-order of BBQ ribs (which were amazing--literally, you pressed down on them with your fork and the bone popped out clean. They were that tender.), and got chicken tenders for our appetizer. They were unique and delicious and served with a good variety of sauces, and they happily brought out barbecue sauce when Husband asked for some. In-laws got teriyaki chicken, the blue cheese burger, and the country fried steak dinner, and all reported liking them very much. They got onion rings as their appetizer, and they had the same crisp, flavorful batter as the chicken tenders and were very good. Drinks stayed full, and again, great service. I don't know what people are talking about when they say they weren't impressed. It's a great casual dining experience--far better than we ever had at Iggy's. I'm so glad they made the switch! Give it another try--I always reserve my judgment until I've been to a place at least twice. If you haven't tried it yet, it's worth a try, honestly. -

Want to watch the game and some good food at the same time? This is the place! Always good food, food service and reasonable prices. A lot like Applebees without having to drive to Ogden!

This is just like Iggys, but named Aggys. Customer service was great, and the food is your average bar/Chili's type food, but the booths are nice for watching games on the screens. It is a decent place to go, but pretty average in terms of price and food (although I do feel it is a bit overpriced).
