I've had a few so-so haircuts here - nothing spectacular, but they were cheap.  The best haircut was done by a man in his 60s who was talkative if you wanted or quiet if you wanted, but he did a great job regardless.  The next (and worst) time I had an absolutely horrible hair-butchering experience with a man in his 40s or 50s who, without asking me, used some kind of hair gel that smelled like ham.  Yes, ham.  I walked away with a shitty haircut, smelling distinctly of ham.
