Someone thought I needed a mask since I used a only a piece of lace at the Maxim's Masquerade. Oh, my. If that's what they have for something so simple, what's right above or right below the waist?

I want to make a disclaimer that I am not trying to "brag" about my Agent Provocateur collection, but I will say that it is what I wear everyday except for 5 days out of the month.
I'd also like to state that I've had experiences at AP stores in Paris, London, Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles and believe in the company more than I believed in communism during my late teens.
That being said this review is in NO WAY to discourage people from buying AP, in fact it would be a welcome change if women started having more pride in themselves and what they wear instead of looking like Madison/California St. hoes.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at the Chicago location, after waiting years for one to come here..if you have an ad stating that this is "the finest lingerie in the world" (which it is) I believe the staff's knowledge, demeanor, and image should fit as well.
While it may sound superficial if one is spending $300 on a set of underwear I would expect the staff to not have chipped nail polish, crooked stocking seams, or looking like an unmade-up Minnie Driver.
i would also expect the staff to know what their own store policies are, to adjust bra straps in the fitting room, and to not discourage when a customer attempts to ask to be called about sales.
It may be that I've been spoiled with my experiences at other AP stores, but in reality I think that the Chicago location merely exemplifies a Midwest mentality of not putting in any effort to a style or grace.
My advice: most of the people that shop at Agent love it and believe in the company so please...take some care and make each person's experience special in stead of treating them like they're buying $15 panties out of a bin.
Oh, and fix your stockings.
I finally made it into this boutique today... and my first thought was, "Agent Provocateur kicks LaPerla's ass."
Agent Provocateur offers the crème de la crème of luxury lingerie and undergarments. Sexy, passionate, luxurious and oh so risque, AP's lingerie collection does a fine job of marrying decadence, elegance and debauchery. What more can a girl ask for?
The walls are lined with a limited assortment of delicate lace bras, panties, bodysuits and chemises. For the more adventurous types, you can choose from a variety of corsets and bustiers, cupless bras, nipple tassles other ahem...bedroom accoutrements. Their collections include a variety of bright colors as well as traditional black, pinks and whites. Don't miss the selection of hosiery and stockings in the back!
The women behind the sales counter play along with pink lab coats, fishnet stockings and sky high heels. They give fantastic recommendations. I love this store because it's sexy, fun and full of trouble.
It's expensive.
Agent Provocateur is having a sale. I took a little study break to come buy myself my first set of the most beautiful lingerie in the world. Truly gorgeous - and 50%! Everything was lovely.The shop girls are adorable in their pink uniforms. If I had the money, I'd wear this lingerie every day under my clothes. Even t-shirts. I'd feel like a bombshell always.
This happens to be one of my all time favorite stores- and not just because I look like the mascot (the icon with bangs lighting her cigarette with a bomb).
When I really, really like a guy I bring him here... Guess what I'm doing this weekend?
The walls are lined with girly, gorgeous satin ribbon-tied panties in candied colors, classic pin-up designs, sexy S&M styled jewelry, delicious fragrances and adult toys.
European sizing runs small- suits me fine, but be prepared. The quality is sublime, the construction and craftsmanship unlike what you may be accustomed to from the inferior Victoria's Secret skank-y-ness. The service is impeccable from the girls in saucy pink lab-coat styled shirtdresses.
