My husband and I have 2 rent houses. We are at the age where we want to be able to travel a bit, and we needed someone to help us with our rentals. Agave Properties gave us that freedom. We can trust that they will be careful to keep expenses down and to keep them fully rented.

I had to rent my house out when I temporarily moved overseas for my job. I decided a management company would be the best solution due to the time difference and my inability to be there physically. I chose Agave Properties because the few reviews I could find were great. I am extremely unhappy with this company. Not only are they poor communicators, but I have not received a full months rent since the lease began. They have charged me for issues that my HOA should have handled, and never consulted me before doing so. I don't feel like my property is in good hands, as I am constantly on edge from one month to the next waiting to see what has happened. This has been a terrible decision, and now I am just waiting for the contract to end so I can get out of this nightmare.

Established in 2007
We set out to create a world class Property Management (PM) company utilizing the best processes coupled with cutting edge technologies. For too long, the PM industry has neglected to adopt newer technologies, either because it was too dependent on the "old way of doing things" or simply not capable of identifying / implementing new processes and technologies that would be beneficial to owners and tenants.
Agave was founded as a residential property management company and property management remains the very core of our business today. Many property management companies are run by Realtors who do not make property management their primary focus. Unfortunately, they rarely have the business framework, technologies, or network of vendors in place to properly manage residential investments. PM is not easy, otherwise you would be doing it for yourself.

Meet the Business Owner: Clay C.
I was born in Ft Worth and have lived in Texas all of my life. I was raised in a family of small business owners and independent real estate investors. I graduated from college with a major in Business Computer Information Systems and an unofficial minor in Real Estate (I managed 11 residential properties while in college) . Before establishing Agave Properties in 2007, my wife/partner and I founded an executive recruiting firm specializing in the tech industry. During this time we also bought, managed and sold several investment properties in Austin, TX. I was even the General Contractor on one, but that is a different story. After 8 successful years in executive recruiting, we made a conscious decision to develop a business in real estate, our true passion.
Our goal today is to continue building a unique PM company that offers the highest ROI for our owners coupled with the best customer service in the industry.
