    Ashley Powell of Agape Planning is professional, organized, kind and creative.... not to mention that little bit of bossy necessary to keep everyone in line and get the job done! We hired Ashley as our Day of Coordinator and are so thankful we did. Not only did she run us through the rehearsal and make sure everything went perfectly on the big day, she was also accessible throughout the planning process and offered much appreciated insight and advice when needed. I highly recommend Ashley for all of your wedding planning needs.

    I'm two months removed from my wedding and still think of how lucky we were to have things turned out so well. My wife and I had the right people in the right places. Ashley pulled all the vendors together. She never cracked the whip, but always reminded us of what needed to be done. While the list always got longer, things were getting crossed off as our wedding approached. During the week of, we had a litany of events (bridal party emergencies, illness, weather), all of which could have ruined our day. Our worst fears were never realized because we were already removed from the vending process. Ashley handled it for us. We showed up and had our moment in the sun.

    I also work in the service industry and recognize that I can write these unsolicited reviews, or pay her the best compliment I can, which is to refer her to people I care about who are getting married.   That I have done.

    Ashley is amazing. Never have I come across someone with such a relaxed approach to wedding planning and execution. She is my 5 STAR planner! I look forward to working with her in the future.

    I wish I could give Ashley more than 5 stars! When I began wedding planning, I did not think I would need a wedding coordinator, since I had tons of friends' referrals and lots of time. However, my venue (although gorgeous) was very strict with their rules, and no one I knew had gotten married there (a reason why I chose it). Ashley was their recommended coordinator. I was a little hesitant because she hadn't planned a Pakistani or Muslim wedding before, but she was so eager to learn about the customs and different traditions. She definitely went above and beyond by ordering a south Asian wedding planning book that described our weddings. To top it off, she is such a sweet lady, and since she's a fellow Trojan, she's family. She suggested excellent vendors and ideas for the wedding. She made the day stress free not just for me, but for my parents, which was very important. After the wedding day, she wrote a lovely blog post which made me want to see her again, even though the wedding is over.

    My husband and I feel so blessed to have had Ashley from Agape Planning coordinate our wedding. She was simply amazing; professional, courteous, detail oriented, and prompt. Her pricing was more than fair, and if I could do it all over again, I would have brought her in sooner and happily paid more. Highly recommend this wedding planner!!!

    Ashley Powell with Agape Planning was truly amazing! I know a lot of brides talk about how "great" or "amazing" their wedding planner was, but Ashley was more than just "great" or "amazing" she really was a life saver or should I say, "Wedding Saver!" I was not the typical bride, I was not one of those girls that looks forward to her wedding day all her life and spends most of her childhood dreaming up her dream wedding. For that reason, when I got engaged, I thought that the last thing I need to spend money on was a "wedding planner" I figured "wedding planners/coordinators" were for spoiled brides that had so much money that they didn't know what to do with it. Needless to say, I got a rude awakening when I started planning our wedding! My fiance and I got engaged on Feb. 15, 2009 and at that time we set a wedding date of May 1, 2010...plenty of time to come up with what my idea of a "perfect" wedding would be and of course plan it. Then, in June 2009, my fiance's father fell ill and we needed to move up our wedding (we wanted to get married by the end of 2009). When we decided to move up the wedding in June, I hadn't planned or confirmed anything yet because I thought we had until May 2010. The only thing I had managed to cross off the "Wedding To Do List" was buy my gown :-) Once I realized that I only had 4 1/2 months to plan the perfect wedding, I began to stress out (that's putting it lightly). I was planning a wedding in Southern CA, while living in Northern CA and I was not familiar with venues or vendors in So Cal. I decided to finally give in and set-up some calls with wedding planners. Ashley was the third wedding coordinator that I contacted. Let's just say, the saying, "save the best for last" was so true! Ashley was so sweet, so professional, so sincere, so well-organized, and she really has a great eye for all things wedding! To make things worse, I was planning a wedding in 4 1/2 months and I had a very tight budget and a large wedding guest list (tight budget and big guest list = recipe for disaster BUT NOT IF YOU HAVE ASHLEY!) Investing in Ashley's services, actually ended up saving me money! Her vendor contacts were the best in the industry and she had vendors across the board for all budgets! Plus, she always had little money saving tips that really did work (not those cheesy ones you read in all the Bridal magazines). I had to fight my family and fiance tooth and nail to hire Ashley because everyone told me that I didn't need a coordinator because I had so many people that could help me (aunt, mom, cousins, 6 really eager & helpful bridesmaids ready to do anything) but after my initial conference call with Ashley, I just knew that she was going to help keep me calm and that she was probably my only shot at pulling the wedding off without suffering a nervous breakdown. Thank goodness, I stuck to my gut instinct and decided to hire Ashley!! Thanks to Ashley, I not only pulled off the wedding, but, it seriously was so much nicer than I would have ever imagined!! I can honestly say that I didn't worry about a single thing on my wedding day! Ashley and her assistant were fundamental in executing the perfect wedding! Our wedding was a culturally mixed wedding and I was really worried about the music because my family insisted on a middle eastern band/singer and my fiance and his family only wanted a DJ. Ashley made sure that she came up with a timeline that ensured that both groups would be pleased...and they were :-) Ashley was totally in charge of coordinating everything with the vendors and making sure they were there on time and doing everything that they were suppose to do...and they did...thanks to Ashley! Thanks to Ashley, I really got to enjoy my wedding and I can honestly say that I did not have any "freak out" moments on my wedding day...I can't even think of a single thing that went "wrong" (not to say that it didn't because I'm told that's impossible, but I sure didn't notice and neither did anyone else..I would guess if anything did go wrong then, Ashley was probably the only one that knew). I can go on and on about how wonderful Ashley from Agape Planning was and I would love to say more to anyone that wants to personally contact me. If any Brides are considering Ashley's services and are not absolutely convince, please feel free to contact me. I will end this review by saying that at the end of it all (literally, at the end of the wedding reception) my family (aunt & cousins that were trying to convince me not to "waste" money on a coordinator) all came up to me and told me that Ashley was the best and that I owed her a great big THANK YOU! My fiance even went so far to say that the money we spent on Ashley was the best money that we spent on the whole wedding!! (Honest truth...I was shocked he went so far, but he did!). My best advice to any Bride is: Don't make the same mistake I made and think that a wedding planner/coordinator is an added perk
