My husband goes to see Ashley a few times a year and at his last appointment, he had an important meeting, so I went in his place. Best decision I ever made! I was dealing with some high-level projects at work, so I was extremely stressed and tensed. Ashley was able to work out all of the knots and tension and I felt like a whole new person after I left. It was amazing. The atmosphere is also serene and calming. It was a great overall experience.

Seriously one of the best massages I have EVER gotten. Courtney Carson was amazing and I will definitely be back. I thought the place was very professional and liked how the quaint waiting was relaxed and down to earth. I truly enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend them.

Unassuming location in the historic Minnesota Hotel Building.
Small but intimate, relaxing and tranquil except for the creaking noise of the historic building. My therapist Innona was attentative and adjusted her applied pressure according to my needs. Heated blanket aided in the relaxation. OK price for an hour long deep tissue massage ($75 plus tip) near the Pearl. Only drawback may be that my therapist used lotion instead of oil and it created some painful moments when there was too much friction between her skin and mine. -

I've been to at least 20-30 different massage therapists in my lifetime; yet for the last 5 years, this is the only place I have gotten massage. Once you find perfection, why go elsewhere?
Alison and her staff are consistently excellent. They are always attuned to my needs, whether I have extra computer-related stress or a weekend warrior knee injury. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, cozy, and comfortable.
This is not a cookie-cutter spa or corporate franchise. It is a locally-owned small business and you can tell in the details. You can tell that Alison really cares about your experience.
I've gotten massage at several places in Portland and AG Massage is clearly the best. Her prices are also very reasonable compared to other locations in Portland. -

I've been going to Allison for a few years now and everytime I leave I think 'That was the best massage I've ever had!'. Everytime I go to someone else I leave kicking myself thinking I should have gone to Allison. She is very professional and the space is very clean, warm and comforting. You won't be disappointed.
