I need to give Allison some love on here. I started coming here about a year ago after finding some great reviews online. We had a consultation first, I told her I wanted, she advised what would be best, and she proceeded to make me look fabulous. I've been coming back for touch ups and trims every couple months or so. The color is great and doesn't damage my hair like some other salons do. I'm always ready to fall asleep when she briefly massages my neck while shampooing. Give Allison a try!
I agree that Tami is a really sweet and consideration person. I think she'd be an excellent stylist for someone who wants to keep their length but add style. She's extremely professional and honest. So far, she still falls in the pool of stylists that I'd consider in OC, but not yet the go-to person for haircuts. I did go in there hoping for a dramatic change, but it was more of an upkeep of my previous haircut with a different stylist (which to her credit she still did a fantastic job at). I'm still searching for that miracle stylist. I might give 2-3 different stylists a shot, and at one point---I'll have to admit that it's probably just my limpy hair.
Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I agree that Tami is awesome! As someone here mentioned, she started off with a short consultation session before she started working on my hair--made me feel comfortable that we were on the same page. She also made sure to explain each step she did while styling my hair to help me recreate the look on my own later.
Awesome service but I wasn't blown away by my haircut like I thought I would be. But that could have been just me as I think reading all the great reviews, made me expect to be in love with my hair after my haircut.
In any case, Tami is so nice and easy-going that I will definitely go back here again.
I am so glad to have found this place and Tami! She is so nice, friendly, patient, and did a great job on my hair. There was no pushiness at all to buy products or get a bunch of unnecessary treatments and she gave me great suggestions and tips to style my hair. Thank you Tami!!
I also found Tami on other website's review and I am very glad. I had been in a same hair style for years before she opened me up to a whole new look. I was afraid at first, but I'm always very very happy with the finish style all the time.
She made me realize that the style you think is best for you isn't the only style that fits you. I'm very grateful with her creative mind. I get so many compliments with the new look.

I was looking for a great hair salon and stylist after recently moving to Irvine. I had been going to my previous hair stylist for years and was very apprehensive and skeptical about finding someone new, but I found Tami through the Internet. She is awesome. Upon meeting her she immediately put me at ease about getting a new hair style by a short and informal interview she conducts at the beginning of the appt. I was blown away. No stylists had ever asked me before about my main concerns regarding my hair. She gave me absolutely gorgeous and natural looking highlights (my hair is very dark). She was able to cut my hair in such a way that I have tons of volume (my hair is very long and thick)!! She even explained how I can duplicate the blow-out she did on me as she styled my hair. Never before have I walked out of a salon so happy and content with the cut and color. I am now a true fan. I've told all my friends about her. Just today I got a compliment on my hair while I was shopping. And the added bonus is the prices are fair.
