The Afton Alps Golf Course is actually an ok course. It is nice that it is a bit out of the TCs so it is not too crowded. I am by no means a great golfer, more of a casual 5 times a year type and this course was about perfect for me. It was challenging because of the hills and drop offs but because there was not a lot of sand or water I didn't go through a dozen balls.
One negative that I thought was a bit weird was a friend and I got paired up to play with another random couple. I don't think that this is normal, especially being that the course was not that crowded and there were several other twosomes out there.
