quick delivery...i work close by. great Persian food....not some cheap crappy food...its quality and tastes good they not cheap on portions. u don't need to ask for sauces/dressings etc they take care of you. ive never actually been there only ordered for delivery and have always been satisfied.

Downtown Los Angeles is full of surprises. Just a short walk away from the business district is Afhsan--a restaurant that gives you the impression that you're in some faraway country in the Middle East or its former Soviet neighbors. All the clientele are Jewish, but not American Jewish. Rather, the food is predominantly Persian, though the falafel and hummus seem not so typically Persian. The customers and proprietors were clearly from abroad--but exactly what their background was is beyond my experience.
Anyway, my falafel plate with baghala polo was quite good. I was really impressed with the falafel and hummus that came with the plate. Yum! The baghala polo (rice with dill and lima beans) was fine but not on par with the best versions.
This restaurant is for the adventurous (or for Persian Jews). -

good boneless chicken kabob. place is clean and service is great. super friendly. everyone in our group was happy with their food.
