What a fun store! I could spend hours in here... It's great for decorations, balloons, party favors and more.
The seasonal decorations and paper goods are the best. Whenever I throw a party, this is the first place I go.

One star because they have almost everything you need for a bday party except cake toppers :(
2nd star is for having a wide variety of party bag stuffers :)
And the 3rd star is because if you spend more than $25 you get $ 5 dollars off the piñatas :)
they have plenty of good deals , but some treasures are just not affordable. I'd probably come back to get party bag stuffers for my daughters next bday party :) -

When I was a kid this store was right downtown LG and I loved this store because they always had a steady supply of NKOTB dolls (fun fact!).
This place has really good prices for everything you need for a party. Everything from super junky to pretty nice can be found here. I like taking my toddler to this store and letting him pick out a few things he likes for $1 each. It takes up a big chunk of the day and we have fun looking around. They also have board games for adults (YAY!) and general party decorations. -

My second home!!!! I need an airstream to park out back and I'd be good! I own a hair salon and have two lil ones under 4yrs old and I swear I'm at this place at least 1x a wk... I've picked up bowls for plating food for a meeting at work, Obviously holiday decorations, and party supplies galore - including helium tanks ... THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!!!!

A pre-k special ed teacher's MECCA! I love this place. I love getting knick knacks, prizes, etc here. The prices ARE affordable and their "diddams" like aisle is awesome. So many cool, quirky things under one roof! Strange toys? They got it! Party supplies? SURE! Crafting supplies? Of course! Crazy gorilla mask? Why not! I'm telling you, go in here with more than a few minutes to explore, don't take a small child unless they are buckled in somewhere or on a leash, and shop till you drop!
I no longer live near LG but going here is worth the trip out of my "bubble"
FYI- if you are an OT/PT for children or teach special ed prek like I do, this is THE place I have been CONSISTENTLY able to find the pop-acordian style tubes for hand and arm strengthening! WOO HOO!!!!!!! -

What I love about Affordable Treasures is that it has a bunch of oddball stuff year 'round, and you can buy this weird stuff one piece at a time. I saw some of the complaints that some items come from Oriental Trading... well, I for one don't want to purchase a GROSS (144 pcs) of Easter pencils or 2500 pipe cleaners. I know I pay a premium for this, but it's still cheaper since I don't waste so much.
I also love how they have rows of one-off junk that my kids can peruse and pick from. I can give them each a dollar and they can go wild :) In the meantime, I can be wandering around the party supplies or cake decorating aisles getting ideas. -

A better alternative to Michaels. With more extras.
They've got costumes, doodads, cake decorating tools, toys, etc. Anything to fit your whimsy. Pretty random stuff, but it all makes sense.
Some of the children's books they sell look kind of outdated. Like they had some 'scary' books that actually looked scary. The prices aren't cheap, but definitely affordable.
It is not a place you want to go if you are aimlessly shopping. Sensory overload. -

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
For a truly authentic Cinco de Mayo gathering at my house I will need:
1. Latin friends....if you're not latin you can still come just wear a sombrero.
2. Grandma's enchilidas and spanish rice
3. The Oscar De La Hoya fight on the tele.
4. Mexican pastries
5. Margaritas and Patron for shots.
AND a trip to Affordable Treasures to transform my French inspired decor into a true fiesta. Lots of red and green streamers, shot glasses, little Mexico flags, a life size cardboard cut-out of mariachi, a pinata, and sombreros for the white and black folk.

Why bother shopping here? They just buy everything from Oriental Trading Co. and jack up the prices. I'll bet that if you purchased the unit and threw away/donated to the charity of your choice all of the items you didn't need, it would still be more expensive here than at OTC.
And even the automated shopping cart at OTC would have a better personality than the cashiers at Affordable Treasures. -

Great selection for all your party needs! I have gone to several stores looking for cheap cowboy hats for a bachelorette party and they had the most selection out of the Party City and Diddams that I went to.
Very friendly and helpful staff too. When I called to see if they have a selection for what I wanted, the gentleman was very patient and happy to look for me while I waited on the phone. He even checked the back stock in the warehouse as well. Then he walked me through how to get to their location.
Lots of costumes and party favors are available. -

This is our go-to place when my 13 year old has a project for school or needs a dress-up or spirit day item. It's a fun place to shop for parties, arts and crafts, costumes, stocking stuffers and sometimes fun vintage items. I got some cool vintage trays here.
This is also where I go when I need balloons. They have an area in back where they blow up balloons.
The prices aren't that low, but they're more reasonable than many party stores. So nice not to need to leave LG for this stuff. -

I wish I could give this place eight stars because of its weird, funky, amazing staff. First, they know their merch really well and answer any question in a focused, alert way, not some vague "oh that's over in aisle seven" kind of way. But also it just seems like a good place to work if you're a too-cool teen misfit. I wish they would make a sitcom about these kids. Sort of like My So-Called Life, anyone remember that show?
Oh yeah, and the stuff in the store is fine too. -

I think this store is just great if you live in Los Gatos but if you live in, let's say, San Jose like I do, Party City or Diddams are WAY better and you get way more for your money.
I came here the other day to see what all the hype was about based of the reviews here on Yelp. They don't really have a whole big selection on birthday party themes and some of their sections were completely empty.
I did enjoy trying on all of their different hats and just fooling around taking funny pictures. And they had a few cool board games that I will probably buy now but not from this store because they are way cheaper else where.
Overall this is a cute store but I would not say that it is a "one stop shop," more like I made the one stop and I prob won't come back to shop. -

The "go to" place for holiday festivities, toys/prizes, party supplies, arts & crafts, balloons, etc. The staff really gets into it, especially Halloween. Plus, it's an old-school family-owned business that supports the community.

I sort of made myself the department cube/office decorator for birthdays at my work. Affordable Treasures is within walking distance of my work and was the natural and logical choice to get the decorating supplies at. The decorating then spread to other holidays like Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.
When you walk in it's an explosion of stuff, sometimes a little overwhelming BUT this is your one stop party shop!!!! When you walk in on the left side of the store is all the party decorations you're going to need for a kids party or a themed party - pirates, Hawaiian and the seasonal. Straight ahead are the baking party supplies - they have the biggest selection of cake forms, cupcake cups, and cake related decorations I've ever seen. Towards the back of the store is the balloon counter and the costume counter (during Halloween) and the right side of the store is the very kid-centric toy and miscellaneous section. That section is also great at Christmas time for stocking stuffer paradise! I love their selection here! They also have some art related supplies as well as big poster boards and California Mission kits for school.
Sure there are bigger stores like this out there but this one is special - a rare gem these days - mom and pop style :) -

I love this store. It's nice that a Mom N Pop business can still thrive in this day & age. It's a funky, cluttered store. You never know what you're going to find. The people that work there are very nice & helpful. Yesterday I went looking for goodie bag items for my son's Bar Mitzvah & found all kinds of great stuff.
Paper goods at places like Diddams & Party City are a rip off + supplies are limited & predictable. Not here. You'll always find something new & different, and fairly priced. Love this place. -

I teach kindergarten so this place is awesome for me to go to when we are having a party during a holiday (like halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, etc...) They have a lot of cute things that kids will love.
They also have lots of great items for parities. They have tons of things for different party themes along with items for goodie bags- just tons of cute fun things and totally affordable prices!
They even have items for baking and cake decorating. It's a great party store that can fill any need that you may have or find when your at this store!!
They even have halloween costumes, i'm not sure if they carry costumes year-round but they did have them when I went in the store during September.
Everyone who works here is very friendly and gives great customer service!!! Teachers and party planners and mom's check it out!!! -

I love this place! Any time I want something fun or themed, I make the trek over to LG to Affordable Treasures.
I don't recommend going during Halloween, b/c it is a madhouse. Also, don't plan on getting too many 'guy themed' decorations - not that that is really a normal thing to do anyway :)
I highly recommend - it's fun to just go and look too -

The fact this place is STILL around after decades is really cool. Like Margi when I was little we would go in here on a regular basis for arts and crafts or for mini toys that would shut me up on an airplane trip. As an educator this place does rock for cheapy prizes (yes- high school students loves cheapy prizes), ribbon awards or stuff I might not find at RAFT in order to do a project. I came in yesterday to find a gift for a friend who was in the hospital-- stuffed panda check... chinese yo-yos..check... fake tattoos check.... "good sport award"..check I got a tons of gag gift stuff for about 20 bucks including tax. The folks are super helpful and nice... I don't venture out here often but when in a pinch I will veer off the 17 to come..

I absolutely love this place. Its the one stop shop i go to for all my party favor needs, supplies for projects, costumes, stocking stuffings, and just a bunch of random things! Everything is very afforfdable as well. The workers here are all very friendly and always looking to help you. If you are having a themed party, you have to check this place out. They have everything!

If you need party supplies (especially for a kid party, but also for luaus, mardi gras themes, etc), this place might fit the bill. You can also easily fill goodie bags for kid parties here. It's a little messy and I think there's more selection and cheaper prices if you go online and order from a place like Oriental Trading Co. But if you don't want to pay shipping and handling and/or you don't want to buy in bulk (often a dozen at a time), then Affordable Treasures is worth a visit. It's near the Whole Foods in Los Gatos.

I am a teacher so this is my favorite store - when I'm shopping for my classroom and students! We have a class store and this is the absolute best place to buy small trinkets. Or if you are having a party, you can always find great decorations, favors, etc. If you are a parent and need little incentive toys, or stocking stuffers, this is the place to come!

This store is great for kid birthday party supplies, particularly loot for the goodie bags. They have an odd assortment of stuff that you don't really see in other shops. When my son turned 4 and wanted a hockey theme party, this was the only party supply shop that had stuff in the south bay. I haven't seen it there since, but they had it when I needed it. There have been some other unbelievable finds we've made here, but the best one had to be basketball player LEGOS. They were discontinued ages ago and my son had rediscovered them in his collection and wanted to add to it. Affordable Treasures was the first shop that came to mind to look for them. We found a whole shelf full of them and from every team he needed! What are the chances? We always enjoy hunting around for discountinued toys and books and arts and crafts supplies as well as party supplies.

I think this place is great. It's like a family owned version of Party City with a lot more character. I like that they have costumes, toys, and school supplies, and much much more, all under one roof. One stop shop for all your decorative trinket needs.

It does seem like lately they have jacked up their prices quite a bit.
If you have the time, it IS cheaper to do Oriental Trading Company online. With OTC though, you have to pay postage, but it's quite reasonable.
In a pinch though, Affordable Treasures does have a good selection of party/craft/gifts. Kids love rummaging through all the trinkets/party favors. -

When I was a kid, my mom used to always take my sister and I here to buy prizes for school (she was a teachers' aid) or trinkets for favor bags at parties. I think my orthodontist used to hit this place up for treasure chest prizes for patients, too. The prices are very reasonable and they have such a great selection of fun mini games and toys to buy by the handful. The store used to be over at Kings Court near Lunardi's and the Wooden Horse. I get nostalgic when I pass either the new or old location. If you have young kids, definitely check this place out for stock stuffers and party favors.

I'm a total fan of this store. Had a blast looking for a Halloween Costume and Accessories here. Service was awesome! They're all friendly and were very willing to help and guide us in finding everything we needed. They of course don't only carry halloween stuff, the store is full of trinkets for everything. Can't wait to shop here again.

Five Stars for Nostalgia. I remember when they opened in King's Court. I used to go in there as a little kid and find the weirdest stuff. It really was like a treasure hunt when I was a kid. I still pop in occasionally for the odd stocking stuffer or gift for my nephew.

There aren't many stores like Affordable Treasures around any more: family-owned, service-oriented, with isle upon isle of crazy stuff, from the predictable to the truly random, and all at rock-bottom prices. It's fun bringing my four-year old, he loves to rummage through the bins of $.25 do dads while I hunt for streamers or hats or whatever. For a few bucks I can trick him out with toys (read, plastic guns), for a week. My son's current obsession is pirates, and there is always some new quirky pirate-themed this or that for us to choose from.

This is a great place to buy party supplies. They have a great selection and a helpful staff. I am happy that you can now place balloon orders over the phone if you do not have enough time to come in the store. This is very helpful and convenient.

What a great fun store, I have raised 3 boys in Los Gatos and this store
has been a part of our lives for 20+ years. I remember when they were at Kings Court, my have they grown. My two older boys are in College
now and I hope Affordable Treasures is around for the Grand Children.
Our 8 year P.J. stills gets a kick out of shopping there.

This place is awesome! I shop there there the most for Halloween and Christmas. They have other little toys such as finger puppets, etc. However, most of their products are from Oriental Trading (a huge party supply company). I like coming here because you don't have to pay shipping!!!

I LOVE this store. Much, much cheaper than Party City where I got my daughter's party supplies last year and tons to choose from. Plus a toy aisle where the little tyke can browse to her heart's content. There are no meanie salespeople hovering so she can test drive some toys too. Plus much more stuff that I probably didn't even get to see, see above toddler. So go there and support a local business. Boo corporate party stores!

they have every thing, you could ever want for a party, or just entertaining. i found great plastic gloves for assembling food, and didn't have to worry about germs, also, a really great kids section. the prices are really great, and so, is the service, thank you affordable treasures.
