Our condo building had a sewer line blockage so raw sewage was spewing out from the building and onto the sidewalk and boardwalk at the beach. So it was urgent that the issue get resolved ASAP. It was also a Sunday and the Bolts were playing at home so I wasn't sure how quickly someone could come out.
I called their #, got the answering service, and got a call back in 15. The guy that was on call that day, Dan, said he had a couple of calls in front of me and it would be 3 hours. He showed up in a little under 3 hours as promised (and called on his way), fixed the problem, educated me (in a non-condescending way) about sewer drains, and was out of there in an hour. All that on a Sunday after 5 p.m. for $162. They carry around an itemized price sheet with them so there's no funny business. And if that same drain clogs up within 30 days they'll come back out and unclog it for free. They only do drains, no other plumbing, and they're on call 24/7.
I had previously used Affordable on my shower drain and had the same great experience. This experience was just the icing (poo icing, nasty!) on the cake. Definitely call these guys before Bill Howe Plumbing, you won't get ripped off.

Jaime, the service tech, arrived 1/2 hr earlier than expected. He was attentive, knowledgeable and quick to unclog our kitchen sink. The entire service was reasonable at $88.

Two nights ago our yard started to flood and I was concerned that water was going to come into the house. I called Affordable mid morning and they quoted a 3 hour window in the late afternoon. Nick showed up toward the end of the 3 hour window and he went straight to work in the pouring rain. Within an hour he had the drains cleared in the yard and everything has been running fine ever since. We agreed to pay $285 up front for the first two hours. Seemed like a lot but Nick FIXED the problem. Just 11 months ago I spent over $1,000 to have new drains put in (using a different company). Had I just called Affordable in the first place, I don't think I would have had to spend all of that money earlier in the year. I will definitely call them again. They did the job on time, within the budget and time quoted and the repair is working!

Fast and courteous service. Had a main-line back up on Labor day, day before first day of school year and hours before BBQ party was to begin. Technician arrived on-time, one hour after my call. He spent about a half hour cleaning the line and explained his work. He also was kind enough to spray down the shower in which the backup manifested. He went on to explain that recent street work in front of our house may have compressed pipes just enough to trigger a backup and that if it happens again in a short period of time, that is likely the case (we've lived here 8 years and this is the first backup ever, and it happened just a month after street work). Was expecting a much larger bill due to holiday, but total was FAR less than I expected to pay. Highly recommend.

These guys saved my holiday. Fourth of July, toilets backed up, lots of out-of-town guests, 6:00pm--what to do? Call Affordable Drain Services. They sent Daniel to solve my problem--which he did with absolute professionalism and expertise. He not only cleared the clog but advised me on a myriad of issues to prevent future plumbing problems. He even spent extra time clearing another slow drain and a malfunctioning toilet , AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! He charged me exactly what he quoted on the phone when all other drain services that I contacted refused to give me a quote or hourly rate. The guy from Mr. Rooter who came earlier to unclog the drain showed up without a snake. I sent him away and called Affordable. Who you gonna call?
