I would give negative stars if I could. Apparently their definition of covered is far different than that of the common man.  After approving therapy for my son, subsequent sessions were disapproved. Coincidentally, this coincides with me nearing my deductible. There very well may be legal involvement since their appeals department does not take phone calls.

And I thought United Healthcare sucked...

U&C(usual and  customary) is whatever they feel like making it that particular day. My kid has a standing appointment every week so it's always the same charge...sometimes her claims are allowed in full, the next week, they reduce benefits for U&C, the week after that, they allow it in full again.  We've gone back and forth like this since 2005.  Right now, they are allowing her visits in full.

Today, I find that they paid my husband's claim under my name as patient.  I complained, they blamed it on the hospital.  I called the hospital, the bill was pulled up on the computer and it was definitely in hubby's name.

Now, some may say that the hospital might have made the error, however, Aetna is batting a thousand right now so my gut instinct is that they fucked up once again.

    I hate insurance.
