Hands down the best facial I have ever had. I LOVED it. Sheila was very sweet, professional, and did not push products on me. The facial included a mini massage. It was very relaxing. I highly recommend Aesthetic Edge. Worth every penny - you will not be disappointed!

This review is for both a Microdermabrasion Facial with Shelia as well as a specialized treatment with Dr. Marcus.
Aesthetic Edge is located in an easy to navigate and upscale section of Redondo Beach. The offices are tranquil and the front desk staff is exemplary.
The facial was just lovely! Shelia was very professional and her company was a pleasure. I enjoyed an hour of bliss followed by weeks of glowing skin.
Dr. Marcus is very professional and a great personality. He immediately puts you at ease and I could truly tell that not only enjoyed what he does but does it with the utmost integrity (in an unpretentious, nonjudgmental way). Loved him, and I am thrilled with the results! I also received a call about a week later from the Dr. himself to check in, which I really appreciated.
I'll not only 100% be back to Aesthetic Edge but also highly recommend it to everyone else! Please, just be sure to leave an appointment time for me! ;) -

RUN...don't walk to this fabulous establishment! Recently had a treatment done by Dr. Marcus. He is a gem! Super talented doctor and an overall great guy. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I cannot wait to go back for my appointment with Ronni. I hear nothing but wonderful things about her.

Tracey is the go to gal! I've been following Tracey for her absolutely fabulous facials. She was working at Burke Williams and now she's moved to Aesthetic Edge in Redondo Beach.
I can't say enough great things about her and everyone that I've recommended to go to her has loved her too! You can tell a good aesthetician by their skin and she has flawless skin. She also gives great recommendations on products without "pushing" them on you.
Every time I see her, she does an analysis on my skin and provides me with recommendations on what sort of products would help improve the condition. She frequently attends the local beauty supply shows to learn about the newest products and latest techniques. My skin is very sensitive and she is the only one I trust!
I recently saw that they offered a groupon, so I bought a bunch for xmas gifts. She's awesome and now I can get a Burke Williams facial for a fraction of the price! Yeah!!! -

I found Aesthetic Edge on Groupon and since I recently moved to the South Bay and didn't have an eyebrow place, I figured I'd give it a try. They do all sorts of minor cosmetic treatments (lasers, needles, etc) but this review is only for waxing.
First, they have their own parking lot, so don't bother with rummaging for quarters in the metered lot out front - make sure to park in the outdoor private lot to the right of their office doors. I unfortunately parked at a meter and gave myself 30 minutes for the waxing, which had me a little stressed toward the end of the appointment.
Second, don't expect a simple in and out waxing. They take their time and treat you right here. From the friendly greeting in the lobby to the relaxing massage table in a private room, everything felt pretty top notch (and it should for the pricey waxing). Ronnie did a great job making sure my brows were perfectly groomed before letting me go. She's also super chatty and cheerful, which I appreciated.
Overall, it's a great place to splurge on an eyebrow wax. Ronnie is good at what she does, my brows look fab with little to no irritation, and I left feeling pampered. -

Ronnie is rad. She gave me a facial and an eyebrow wax after I came here via Groupon. It was one of the best Groupons I've ever purchased - and I am a Groupon, FreshGuide, LivingSocial ADDICT. I was really happy with the service, the professionalism of the front desk, and the price.
First, I have very sensitive skin. I use only a particular array of products that I trust. Ronnie pushed me (gently and professionally) to let her do her job, and I was glad she did. My skin came out glowing and has been looking stronger since she cleaned it up for me. Second, while she did put out a ton of products she thought I should buy, they were very, VERY cool when I looked for a "no animal testing" label and passed on everything because I couldn't find such labels. Lots of places that do Botox and other crap like that would look at you like you're crazy for caring about animals instead of your wrinkles, but they were professional, and I appreciated it.
I am afraid of what this place might do to my budget in the future. -

Last Friday Dr. Marcus designed and built my new nose.
I had looked for a Doctor I felt comfortable with for years, but as soon as I met him I just knew. I wanted someone super skilled , up on the latest technology, patient, artistic and kind--and Dr. Marcus is. (that was a lot to ask for, that's why the search went on so long!)
He really listened to what I wanted, made me super comfortable with every step and went far above even my high standards. I had met with several doctors before Dr. Marcus, and I just didn't feel enthusiastic about any of them. Dr. Marcus and Kelsey, his fantastic office manager, made the whole process effortless, completely painless and 100% positive. I was not exactly looking forward to the
operation (OK I was terrified one minute and excited the next), but it was actually MUCH easier than I expected. What was I so worried about?
I really think Dr Marcus is as enthusiastic about my new nose as I am! He took lots of time to study and measure my face, and listen to what I wanted. He and his staff were charming, patient and funny.
I had no idea that plastic surgery can be FINANCED so I could have afforded to do this years ago! If you are just considering having a little something improved you should visit Aesthetic Edge and you will see why I was so happy I did.
I highly recommend Dr. Marcus and when you meet him you will be writing a five star review as well!
By the way, his beautiful spa is in Redondo, but my surgery was in Beverly Hills. He is worth the drive( this IS your beautiful face we are talking about here!), and his prices were remarkably fair.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I almost hate to write this review since all of the others are so stellar but...I gotta be honest. I bought two groupons for this place after seeing the outstanding reviews, and recently requested that groupon accept a return on the second one because I really do not want to go back. I had Ronnie for a facial, and found her to be very nice and friendly. The facial was a fantastic experience - during any downtime while the products went to work she gave me fabulous massages and really relaxed me. The only thing that wasn't relaxing was that she was, at first gently, then with more certainty, telling me that the products I used were terrible and that I should come back for another facial in two weeks. I was all about being open to suggestion, but this became a bit frustrating because her original assessment was that I had great skin, but by the end of the hour I felt like she thought my skin was terrible and everything I was doing was wrong.
After the facial she recommended four products. And by recommend I mean that she mentioned them several times during the facial, then stayed with me at least 5 min after to push them on me. I say push because despite the fact that she kept saying it was up to me, she kept harping on the products. One of the products was $114 (for one ounce!). Are you kidding me?! Even so, i walked out of Edge feeling good and optimistic. I was going to research the products she recommended on my own, and come back for my second facial. Well, the results of the facial were completely disappointing. My skin and pores didn't even look clean the day after, nor several days after. I even had a couple breakouts immediately after the facial. I wish things had turned out differently because Ronnie was incredibly nice and welcoming, but with the product pushing and the results, the whole experience left me with a bad taste. Had the products not been the key selling point (try selling results first!) I would have been happy to go back for round two, however, its just not worth it to me to be annoyed with trying to politely decline over and over.
I never should have ventured away from my regular facialist, who has only ever recommended one product (that she doesn't even sell herself), and always gives me glowing, seriously glowing skin at $65 a pop. -

I admit it takes a lot to impress me and rarely do I dole out five stars for a business... but Aesthetic Edge Spa deserves the props. I see Ronni for facials and my brows and she always takes such good care of me... as I wrote in my original review, she has been my savior in bringing out the best in my skin over the past several years.
I was looking to take my skin to the next level and recently met with Dr. Marcus to check out my options. Having done my homework before the consultation, I came in with a list of questions and he patiently answered all of them. I am now two weeks post combo FX and I see a world of difference in my skin. The freckling from my outdoor loving lifestyle and hyper-pigmentation from many lost battles with adult acne are a thing of the past. I am greeted with glowing healthy looking skin every time I look in the mirror. Thank you Dr. Marcus for giving me a beautiful start to the New Year! =)1 Previous Review: Show all »

I had an underarm laser hair treatment today with Dr. Marcus, it was wonderful! I had 2 underarm laser hair removal treatments at a different med spa last year and they were the most painful thing I have EVER experienced so I was REALLY nervous about today. I thought all lasers were that bad, boy was I wrong! They used numbing cream which helped A LOT, they also used a cooling air jet that YOU control, which was nice. I'd say it is a 3 on the pain scale compared to "the bad med spa" which was a 9.5 in pain. I actually can't wait to go back!

I just gave it a 2 only because I hate when an aesthetician try to sell me something that I am not interested in. at first i like Ronie which she is very good in doing the facial except she talks way too much and it was hard to relax and enjoy the facial. she will just not shut up on talking and it was very frustrating and couldn't even focus on my own relaxation and facial. then to make it worse she follows you to the receptionist when you paying and talks more about products and membership crap!!
I am a very loyal person, if i like the work then i go back for years to the same person but I HATE!!! when they try to sell sell sell and their focus becomes only on selling products not service.
i gave it a chance on going couple more treatment but i was just fed up with the sales pitch and stop going. -

I purchased a Try It Local coupon for a facial at Aesthetic Edge Spa a few months ago. After reading many of the great reviews on Yelp, I booked my appointment with Ronnie and was very excited to try this place out. Overall, Ronnie was very informative and gave me some helpful tips about treating my skin since I have very sensitive skin and breakout easily. My facial was really good and my skin felt smooth and shiny all day. The one issue/complaint that I do have is that she talked nonstop during the entire 75 minute treatment. She said I should be coming in about every 2-3 weeks until my skin clears up and then I'll be able to come in once every 3-4 weeks after. She also kept pushing the products sold at the spa. I'm all for recommendations, but when you mention something over and over again, and then throw in the words, 'I'm not pushing you, I'm just going to leave it up to you" guess what...you really are pushing. Although the facial was good, I couldn't relax and felt uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Dr Marcus is really conscientious! Especially when it comes to hair removal! He explained that you have to check for the follicles to swell to know if you affected the hairs u wanted to remove. Other places I have been to (dr Tattoff) just did a really quick and haphazard job. I highly recommend this place because the doc takes his time with ... Not telling what else I got done there but it's by far the best cosmetic office I've been to!

I'll admit, I was nervous. I've been going to my same girl for years and we all know the comfort level we need to do these sorts of painful things...so I went in scared and skeptical...not a good combo. But I'm super happy to report...success! Dr. Marcus knows his way around a needle girls...so don't worry. No pain and lots of gain! Really nice atmosphere and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They even signed me up and mailed in all those crazy rebates for me, so no hassles. If you need a new place for a refresher ....this is it!

I was recommended to see Dr. Marcus by a gal who is as fair as I am and a fellow red-head to boot. We were commiserating about the evils of the sun here in LA, but she told me about her "beauty secret"- she had gotten a IPL facial. I didn't know what one was and when I researched it there were some amazing things said about it, but done by the wrong person could be disastrous. She had said Aesthetic Edge was a wonderful, reputable place and that she trusted Dr. Marcus implicitly.
I researched their website, which is really a terrific resource. It felt like a lot of care went into it's design. I called and talked to the charming Kelsi, who is a total doll and made an appointment for a consultation. I didn't know if it would be the right thing for me, but I have noticed-- even with religious application of sunscreen some of my freckles are joining forces and the Rosacea on my cheeks is so exasperated by the sun and dryness of the air.
It's worth the drive. The facility is beautiful, every person I met there was kind and warm. Dr. Marcus is funny, practical and has a real air of experience that made me trust him right away. We sat in his office and we discussed ALL of my concerns and then he made some recommendations.
I decided on the spot to do the treatment. I was nervous, but Dr. Marcus was very cool and he explained everything step by step. It does pinch. but he warns you about the pinch coming so it isn't unexpected. The pain is minimal, but the results are so amazing-- immediately-- within an hour -- I got stopped on the street by two women and a single woman, who told me I had great skin.
Now, I do have good skin, but the treatment is phenomenal!! My Rosacea is reduced mightily and the sun damage is considerably erased. I mean it is an absolutely amazing thing. I am totally floored.
I am going to keep going. I would recommend Dr. Marcus and his staff's services without hesitation! -

I just came back from my very first laser hair removal session with Dr. Marcus. I heard about this place from Groupon and yelp, and I live closeby, so I finally decided to give laser hair removal a try. Even without my Groupon discount, the prices at Aesthetic Edge are reasonable when I compared prices with my Doctor friend who is also in this business (I'd go to him but his office is too far). Their facility is very nice as the other reviews have mentioned. The staff was excellent, very professional. Dr. Marcus was the best part of this whole experience. He was very caring, explained everything, and even brought me a selection of magazines to read while I was waiting for the numbing gel to settle in. It didn't even hurt that much. I'm excited to see the results after I get my full 6 sessions. This place is a hidden gem in the Southbay, I'm so happy I found it!

Relaxing setting, great staff. I have already recommended to my friends. It was my first time getting Botox and I was made to feel comfortable and it looks perfect. My friend and I have facial appointments - heard they are fabulous! Looking forward to visiting many times in the future!

Dr. Marcus and his staff are very personable. The facility is beautiful ! I had Total FX laser and Juvederm done and it took 10 years off my face. He spends the time to talk with you and address any concerns and questions you might have. I highly recommend this facility to anyone female or male. You will be in the best possible place in the South Bay!
