Abram was the photographer for my organization's global leadership conference this past October, a 700+ participant, sold-out event. His professionalism is unmatched and the quality of his work was outstanding. Our photographs not only document our events for membership, but they also give lift to our marketing efforts through brochures, website and promotional materials. He took the advice and background we were able to give him and delivered on what was asked, but also provided a great deal of creative material. With a high-profile membership, speakers and participants from around the globe, Abram was both courteous and professional with all of our guests. I would be proud to recommend him and to work with him again soon.

Abram shot our wedding in July, and did an amazing job. He is very laid back and easy to work with, and really aims to give his a clients a product they will enjoy for years to come. Abram's photo-journalistic style makes him almost invisible during the actual event, and yet, he seemed to get shots of every part of the day we wanted. He has a quick trigger, and an uncanny eye for those candid moments you'll want to remember.
The custom album he created for us is awesome, and all of this for an incredibly reasonable price.
Abram is new to the DC area, so I would suggest booking him now, before he really blows up. -

My Matron of Honor had suggested I look into hiring Abram as our photographer for our December wedding because I was having a really hard time choosing a photographer who did quality work but was within our budget. I can't thank her enough for her recommendation! We hired Abram (after working out a package that fit our budget) immediately upon meeting him and seeing his portfolio. His portfolio is amazing so I knew our wedding pictures would turn out just the same.
We had planned a Christmas themed wedding/reception but we put the emphasis on fun. My husband and I requested the usual formal family/wedding party photos, but he went above and beyond, and saw poses that were "outside the box" if you will. He took each side of the wedding party outside onto the golf course where we drove golf carts around and played in the trees. I had bought sparklers with the hope that we could use them after the ceremony for pictures and everyone had doubts but the pictures were so awesome to see! More times than not, taking pictures is tedious and tiring but Abram made it so easy and fun, especially since we were out in 40 degree weather without jackets! During the reception, I didn't even notice he was there! He was always in the background getting great candid shots of the guests, the band, and the other accents that made our wedding an event to remember! He captured all the feelings and all of the sentimental moments of our wedding perfectly. Our family and friends can't stop raving about the pictures and have all said that we're going to have a very hard time picking what pictures to put in the album (some of the pictures from our album are actually posted on here!)
There is no doubt in our minds that we picked the best photographer! Not only professional, but incredibly personable, helpful, compromising, and overall fun to work with. My husband and I highly recommend Abram and A.E Landes Photography!

History
Established in 2005
I started this business fresh out of Penn State's Visual Arts School in 2005, and have been photographing weddings, portraits, and events ever since. Relatively new to the DC Metro Area, I am looking to make the most of the great venues, parks, cityscapes, and wonderful people within my photography business.
I have always aimed to please my clients, both with their photographic products and their personal experiences with me. I strive to produce the best images possible, and provide a positive experience planning and executing photo-shoots and events.
In addition to weddings and formal events, I have recently been photographing cycling races, architecture (exteriors, renovations, interiors), international embassy events, outdoor activities for tourism councils, and I have also delved into video production and editing for these events.
In the future, I am aiming to expand into the DC wedding scene even more, and specialize in international-destination and adventure-themed weddings.

A.E.Landes Photography is owned and operated by Abram Eric Landes, and is serving the greater DC, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania areas. The company was created six years ago for Abram to continue working as an artist and photographer, and has since had a great amount of diverse clients - from Porter Novelli PR, AP Architecture, and the Penn State University, as well as many wonderful wedding couples and portrait clients.
