I recently went on Full Moon paddle with Adventures in Florida. It was a very enjoyable experience! I am not an experienced kayaker, but that was no problem. We kept a leisurly pace, saw gorgeous birds and then watched the moon rise above the lake. It was very peaceful and romatic. We were on the water for about 2.5 hours. A fun alternative to dinner and a movie! :)

Last night we went on the full moon paddle, something my husband and I were looking forward to. I made my reservations and everything seemed to be great, received a call a couple of days ahead of the paddle confirming the reservations, time to arrive at the dock and the supplies that we would need. We were asked to arrive at 6:00pm for the paddle. Wanting to be prompt we arrived a bit early at 5:45, there was no one there! We waited and waited and were just about to give up when someone finally arrived at 6:35. We were told that there would be a couple more people arriving but they were going to arrive at 7:00 but we could go ahead and paddle around a bit in the basin while we waited. The other couple never showed and our paddle finally began at around 7:30 a full 1.5 hours after we were asked to show up. Needless to say we were not impressed by this lack of organization.
The paddle itself was peaceful and enjoyable until the bugs came out making the rest of the paddle miserable (this is no fault of the organizers).
In the end, this was an expensive 1 hour paddle and I would not recommend it, find somewhere you can rent a couple of kayaks by the hour and save yourself some frustration. -

If you want to have a great time kayak, canoing, camping, and playing in on the waters and in the wilds, Adventures in Florida is your company. I have been on several trips with them including the Everglades, Green River, and Bahamas and have not stopped having fun with them. The trips are well organized, a good value, and they will lead you to some of the most beautiful locations. Oh....did I mention the food? Yum!
