Review from Renee E.
Got together here with family when we were in town for my Grandmother's funeral. The place was comfortable and there was a little bit of everything for everyone on the menu. If you can't find something, that says more about you than it does about the menu.
The fries were crazy good (when in Wisconsin, I give in to the fried foods I normally avoid). I was really happy to see locally raised grass-fed beef on the menu (and it was good too). The bread pudding with rum sauce was also a keeper.
Our waitress was stellar. Truly one of the most personable and pleasant servers I've had in probably years. You could tell she really enjoys her job, and if not she fakes it really well. Either way, she was damn good. -

Great Northwoods ambience & good food. Nice bar. A local favorite.

One of our favorite places in town. We will usually eat at Adventures at least once a week.
The food is unique and interesting (my wife's favorite is their elk steak!). Our typical meal here always starts with an extra-large order of Log Jams (fried mozarella sticks in eggroll wrappers with spicy horseradish dip) and a couple Bloody Mary's (they make the BEST in town!!!). My wife usually has the elk, I love the salmon, and the kids get burgers (GREAT burgers) with fries (best fries in town!!!).
For a great treat, their Sunday Brunch Buffet is always fantastic. -

So they have delishious beers, good steak...but the leg jam is fabulous fried goodness! The what you say? Fresh mozzarella wrapped in eggroll wrappers and fried to a crisp delishness...add a side of freshmarinara...the best fried thing I have ever ate...I think!
