Your kids will go nuts! This place is awesome. I've taken my kids here several times over the last few years, and they love it.
The price is $10 and that includes admission for one child and one adult. Their giant indoor playground structure is amazing! It's the type you find at McDonalds or other fast food chains, but this one is freakin' huge. I always get the urge to go climbing through it, even though I'm 6'2", hefty, and in my 30's. I love these types of playgrounds.
They also have a cafe where you can order food and drinks. The prices are a bit expensive for what you get and the food isn't all that good, but I suppose it's more for convenience.
The staff is is wonderful. Younger, very active & friendly. AdventurePlex does offer more amenities. Basketball court, rock wall climbing, obstacle courses, private rooms for birthday parties, etc. All these come at an additional charge.
They also offer a "Parents Night Out" for $25 for the 1st child and $15 for each additional child. Starting at 5:30pm, they'll watch your kids and allow them to play in the structure, do crafts, watch movies (and includes dinner), while you and your significant other enjoy the evening by yourselves. Pick-up time is at 9pm.
This place can be a whole lot of active fun for the family for a reasonable price. Once you leave AdventurePlex and your kids still want to play, there's a small outdoor park nearby (assuming you still have energy). -

This place reminds me of a poor man's DZ discovery zone (when it existed)
it is much more compact and i believe that (most) children will get bored quickly for the lack of "Adventure" to be had at this location.
thwy DO have a baseball field (which is regulation size) which is great if you enjoy playing baseball.
otherwise, i would look for adventure elsewhere. -

Like Yelp says, 3 stars is "A-OK". Just okay, really.
For just $10, your little one and one adult get to run around in a giant playplace for 2 hours. It includes use of the basketball court if it's not reserved for an organized game. Additional adults can come, but they can't play in the playplace without an additional fee. My mom and I took my 6 yr old cousin, Ryan, to burn off some energy.
The man at the check-in desk had a great attitude. I don't remember his name, but he was a supervisor and he interacted really well with my little cousin. However, he was a bit sketchy. He talked about how "healthy" the cafe is, which isn't necessarily true. Also, when it came time to sign the risk waiver, he said "this just states that there are inherent risks at places like this. Just go ahead and sign the bottom". Um, if I'm signing away rights, I need a moment to read the document, thanks. You're a supervisor and you should know better.
Here are some things I feel REALLY need to be improved upon:
-There is almost zero supervision from the staff as far as making sure people comply with the rules. In our two hours there, only one employee came in. She yelled at one person for not having socks and then left in a huff when the kid didn't hear her.
-The play area needs far more seating, especially on the weekends. There were 7 tables and 2 bar tables. There were about 10 additional families standing because there wasn't room.
-Don't pitch your cafe as "super healthy" just because you don't serve soda. There is a big display of cookies right at kid-height. Plus, there are chicken nuggets, grilled cheese sandwiches, tater tots and frozen pizzas. Sure, there are a few salads, but they're topped with a ton of fatty items. You're about as healthy as McDonalds.
Some tips to remember -
-If you have little girls who like to wear skirts/dresses, please bring some shorts or pants for them. People will be able to see up your daughter's skirt/dress whenever they look up to check on their kid. Gross.
-Your shoes go in the cubby boxes to the right of the play entrance. Please model good behavior to your children and others by putting them where they belong. Do not kick them off right at the entrance and cause a tripping hazard.
-Control your children. Other parents are not there to babysit your child. You need to check in on them and make sure they're not hogging the different stations or pelting people with balls.
-Adults are allowed to climb in the structure, too! Bring socks and wear something comfortable.
-Wifi is free. Just ask someone at the front desk for a password.
Not a bad place to come once in a while. From the photos I saw of similar places (Kid Concepts, Under the Sea), this location seems cleaner, larger and more state-of-the-art. -

On 2/11/12, my Cub Scout Pack made the trek from Santa Clarita to AdventurePlex for the Ropes Course and the Rock Wall. In short, the nine boys who made the trip had an absolute blast.
I was very impressed with the entire facility. My group arrived about an hour before opening. The staff was courteous and immediately engaged the scouts. Keegan and Sasha were excellent instructors and talked/showed all of the boys how to manipulate the rope and the rock wall.
Since we stayed until after AdventurePlex opened, I was able to compare the obvious emptiness when we arrived to the multitude of children having fun about two hours after they opened their doors. All I saw was lots of kids, doing all kinds of activities, but all having fun. While my scouts, where in-between activities, I checked the place out. There were several little girls basketball teams that played, as well as the toddlers play area and a very impressive indoor play structure.
I can't wait to go again. -

I was pleasantly surprised with our experience here. I came for a church outing, so we enjoyed the "Team-Building" ropes course. The course consisted of a net climb, plank walk, tight-rope walk, and then a short "zipline" (not much so). You're harnessed the entire course, but it still takes considerable effort to stay on. I noticed the rock climbing wall as well, and wished we could've done that!
The workers were very friendly and definitely took their time to ensure that none of the women who were afraid of heights became weary. The group rates are definitely very affordable, ranging from $20-$50 a person, and include a private room that has a tv and dvd player. I'm not sure if the food was included in the group rates, but it was surprising delicious.
ABSOLUTE MUST TRY: Their freshly baked cookies. And yes, they are freshly baked!
Even though Adventureplex caters mainly to children, it was definitely appropriate for adults as well. The women at our outing enjoyed it tremendously. My only complaint was the bathrooms... I guess that's what happens when there's so many kids running around! -

I came here on a Living Social deal.. $15 (reg. $25) for what they call "Parents Night Out". It's from 5:30-9 and you drop your kids off for the night. Kids get to play in their awesome play structure, do arts & crafts, watch a movie, and it even includes a healthy dinner. When I came to pick up my daughter at 9:00, she didn't want to leave!
The staff was super friendly, involved and accomodating. It was an all around good experience.. :)Listed in: What A Deal!

Went here with my nieces. There's a huge indoor play structure and a basketball court that you can access for 2 hours for a $10 fee.

Last week, on a week day, I brought my 8 month old son here. It cost $5 for 2 hours. The area set aside for him to play was a small area, not as big as I expected. It was no bigger than my living room.
The reason I wanted to check the place out was because I wanted a large clean, safe, soft area for him to crawl till his heart's desire. There was a small ball pit, one slide, and a couple of other things. All I'm saying is that, at least at Chuck E Cheese's I can put $5 into rides and games instead. -

I took my one year old nephew here and he had a blast. It was a very welcoming environment, very clean as well, and the staff was helpful as well.
It was a bit loud, but its filled with kids having fun so its understandable.
I will more than likely take my nephew again! -

Advenutreplex is great if you want to take your child to a place to exert some energy. However, their camp is poorly run with no communication and the councelors have no idea what a 5 year old is capable of so I would not recommend this camp to kids under 8. It may be different for kids who are a bit older but they really have no clue about the little ones. I was never introduced to my daughters councelors, she was put in a group with kids who are 7 and there is a big difference between 5 and 7. When trying to attempt to talk to the co-ordinator, there was no return call. Don't recommend camp for the little ones. Not sure about the older ones??

I have toddlers and this was for big kids. We had a big kid in our group and she was over the play structure after 15 min. I didn't really see that much except for the large play structure and it didn't seem very clean when I was there.... I smelled like stinky feet really strongly & it was very busy.

I found Adventureplex when I was looking for a new class for my 3-year-old twins to take which I ended up signing them up for a karate class at this facility. So, the class was okay...I am thinking that maybe the teacher should be with 5 year olds because I think she expected a little too much from 3 year olds. For example, she really tried to make a class of six little kids watch her eyes the whole time...when they didn't she asked "Who showed great respect today?...None of you!". Umm, kinda hard for a 3 y.o., no?
As far as the facility itself goes, it has a killer kitchen that makes fresh, healthy food for you & your kids (no soda there!). The play structure is nice for kids over 3 and they offer a VERY SMALL area for kids under three. It is VERY SMALL, get it? It is useful if you have a bigger kid that can go on the large structure unattended and you can play with your wee one. If you are just bringing your toddler under three I don't know if I could say that it is really worth the money. My little one prefers Under the Sea but my 3 year olds are kind of over that place.
There is a basketball court but I think you have to pay extra to play there & there is also a rock climbing wall if you are into that kind of thing. The other really nice this is free wi-fi (but charge up before you go because there are no outlets at the tables). -

Found this place on Yelp, I think and saw the good reviews so decided to give it a try. We only had a couple hours to kill, so it looked better than just finding an arcade.
For $10 and the play featured listed, it sounded like fun. Well check ahead! The only thing open was the jungle/play area in the toddler room. It was a fun, challenging area for my 7 and 10 year old boys, but they got tired of it quickly. There was a gym with basketball rims and inflatable bounce stuff... closed! Even tho nobody was in there it wasn't open. The rock wall and rope course outside... Closed. If we could use these by asking, the staff wasn't eager to help as we wondered around by ourselves. Why not give us a quick tour since there were 3 of them at the door when we came in.
We hung out in the jungle/play area a while longer then a couple bigger groups of smaller kids came in and we had to go. The screaming and noise was unbearable.
I would have rated this a 1 star except they gave me my money back (except for the $6 I spent on socks) because we were there less than 30 minutes. We headed to Mulligans to drive the cars and play the games. -
Review from Vicki D.
This is a great way to spend a rainy day with your child or meet for a playdate. They have a huge play structure that both parents and kids can climb around. There is also a little area for the smaller cruisers/non-walkers. You can also eat there, though I have never tried the food to be honest.
I've been to a birthday party here and it was great. They have a room you can use for all of your stuff and you can hire your own entertainment plus you get a lot of playtime in the structure.
Here is why I gave it four and not five stars - because if you have to go in and find your child (which I have to do a lot because he is still 2) it can be a pain to have to crawl through the whole structure, around other kids, parents, etc. This place gets pretty busy! Usually once I am inside I don't mind because there are actually a few stops where a parent can stand. Once my son turns 3 I think I will like it better because he will probably be able to get himself out without my having to trek up in the play area. -

I brought my daughter here after buying a FamilyFinds deal for two visits to the indoor play structure. When we first got there, it was a bit empty. No employee was watching the play structure. Regardless, some parents just leave their kids unattended and others do not even watch them. Everything was okay until noon hit, a bunch of kids came out of nowhere. Sad to say, some kids had no manners and just pushed my 4 yr old out of the way to the point she started crying. There were some kids who were twice even three times her age and they were running wild and parents just stood back. And again no employee in sight. I guess that is why they have you sign a waiver. They have a little cafe, which has a vegetarian menu. I ordered the veggie sandwich, which consisted of cold uncooked mushrooms and sprouts. Not good at all. Anyways, never going back. There are better indoor playgrounds than this one.

My daughter loves AdventurePlex--mainly, I think, because she really bonded with one of their employees--Shawna(sp?). She spent a lot of time rock climbing and doing the adventure course with Shawna and had a great time. I think Shawna was gone for awhile but now she is back and we will be back too!
I love AdventurePlex for the table with elecrtrical connections and the wireless Internet. While I was in school I was able to study while my kids played and then join them when I needed a break. -

we normally love advernture plex. Although it smells like a stinky shoe the kids have a blast running and climbing ect. and the cafe food is really fresh and delish. We went this week in the afternoon. at 4:00 the aftercare for the camp came in to join us. Had they been watched it would have been fine. There were 35 + kids of all ages who stormed the jungle gym area. They were wild and were bullying the younger kids. No one seemed to care in fact I had to reprimand them more then once as they wouldn't let me kids pass them to climb to the slide. Then I noticed a bunch of them running in and out of the emergency exit door. UN-NOTTICED!!! Finally, a counselor went into the toddler area where it is clearly marked for children 3 and under. There were several campers that were well over 7 ( they looked about 10) in the area. Did he ask them to leave? nope...he sat and chatted with them! 20$ is a lot of money to have my children who normally have a blast ask to leave....thumbs down adventure plex

I was here to celebrate my niece's 7th birthday and the kids love the utter chaos. It's one big swinging, sliding, climbing, and germing extravaganza - and they'll feed the kids pizza and cake too!

My kids love this place and so do I. Its way better than Kids Concepts. The facility is new, the in-door jungle gym is huge. I'm suprised nobody wrote anythimg on this place. The only gripe that I have, are that the parents sometimes bring older kids who don't respect the little ones. The bottom line is when it's crowded pay extra attention to your kids.

I had my son Cj's 10th Birthday party here and as a mother of 4 boys I look for things like quality, cleanliness, and affordability right off the back and this place has all 3 in addition to an exceptional staff.
This by far was the best experience we have had at a place like this and we have been to 3 indoor playgrounds or similar.
From the phenomenal manager to the relatable and child friendly staff they truly made this day one my son will remember for awhile.
At first glance the price may seem high but believe me its well WORTH IT! Also unlike other places the café has numerous food options that both kids and adults can enjoy. -

I am taking my boys here tomorrow - we go often. I would give it 5 stars, but it is a little pricey. It seems the prices went up recently because I pay $10 for my 3 yr old now...I think that's what it is. I usually take my 6 year old niece along to play with him and watch out for him because like others mentioned, when it's crowded, you have to watch out, but most kids are friendly and parents usually handle any little issues right away. I also take my 1 1/2 yr old and we go to the LITTLE kiddie area. It's good for him, but yes, some of the bigger kids try to come in there, too, and aren't careful with the babies, but the parents are in there with the babies anyway. It probably isn't worth it for someone under 2 1/2...old enough to climb.
The food is really good there and fresh and healthy. It can be a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it because the kids have a great time and although it says 2 hours, you can stay longer, but you usually want to get going after 2 1/2 hours :-)
Hope this helps! -

Manhattan Beach, CA
This place is a-ok. The indoor play structure is impressively big, probably 2-3 times the size of a typical mcdonald's playland. I thought it was clean and well-designed. Adults can go climb with their kids which was pretty fun. The small play area for little children is nice, small, and you will have to watch out for older kids who sneak in and roughhouse, but we liked it.
Pros:
New, clean, exciting for the kids
Good place to meet a friend to chat while your kids go nuts for 2 hours
Adventureplex offers classes, a gym, rockclimbing and ropes course
Cons:
A little pricey for 2 hours if you have more than 1 child
Schools and summer day camps come and it can go from quiet & safe, to completely overrun and scary in a matter of 1 minute. I suggest you call ahead to find out if a day camp or school group is coming the day you want to go, and when. Avoid that time.
Not a lot of parking. -

Took my son there on this rainy day and it was great! The play structure is safe and sturdy and appears to be about 2 stories high. It has different entrances and exits. It was like a Hugh maze. They also offer other classes and do birthdays. I will definitely be returning there soon!

I think the place is okay.
Pros: Fun for kids to climb around.
Cons: The slides are fun, but they are kind of dangerous. The slides are designed inside the play structure so it's hard to monitor any accidents that happen.
Kids will be kids and they will like to climbing up the slide instead of going down. When I was there I heard employees several times telling the kids to not climb up the slides. I also saw a few people getting hit coming down the slide.
Unlike most slides, you can't really slow down or control your speed. There is a net above, and you will be tempted to use it to slow down. However, if you do, you might get a bad fricton burn/blister like I did. I tried to slow down when I saw a mother and child at the bottom of the slide just sitting there.
Again, it's a fun place, but it's a hard place to monitor your kids inside the play structure. -

Just picked up my six and seven year old kids from camp at Adventureplex. We did just two days here right before school started because we had few other options for childcare this week. The camp appeared poorly run and was staffed by sullen and disinterested looking teenagers. My oldest said never again. Both kids said the camp consisted of blocks of time spent in the various play areas, with no real structured activity. That's just not adequate for a full day camp, and it wasn't exactly cheap. Destination Science camp makes this camp look pretty pathetic. We will not be back next year.

For $10, my 5 year old daughter and I got in and she played and played for about 2 hours and I had to drag her out of there since I think there was a two hour time limit on open play. They had a toddler area/ball pit where she hung out and then she really liked crawling through all the netted tunnels/obstacle course. She didn't want to try the zip line but I thought it looked like a blast so I got her to hang onto me with her arms and legs and I grabbed the handles and went zipping with her twice, it was fun, too bad she didn't want to keep doing it! There's a sitting area in front of the netted play structure and toddler play area, but it was kind of dirty considering you have to take off your shoes to go play. People had dropped snacks and some drinks on the floor and so it felt sticky walking there with no shoes on, but we didn't want to keep taking our shoes on and off each time we took a break from play. Otherwise, I thought the place was good for kids (though, not too young of kids).

I would have given this place 5 stars if it was not so expensive. But I have to say that my son (2 years old) loves this place. It is very large and has lots of different climbing actvities to keep the kids interested. I would definitely recommend this place. It is nice that adults can go in with their kids, which is especially important for parents with toddlers.

A great place - we had my son's 6th birthday here, and it was a delight not to have to worry about anything! Our party guide Bethany was 100% helpful and kept everything running smoothly. The food is very fresh and delicious, we had pizza for kids and chicken salad for adults. The fruit trays were also yummy. The kids LOVED the giant climbing structure and kids and adults alike enjoyed playing basketball on the sports court. The place is clean and well-run, with lots of staff to keep unruly kids in line. The party price isn't cheap, but it's worth it to save lots of party-planning stress! (They even mail your invites if you want them to!)
