Adventure Theater is part of the cool historic Glen Echo Park compound. It's one of the longest-running theatre program for children and families in the Washington metropolitan area and the experience shows. The productions are developed with the youngest family members in mind and often come with notes telling you the appropriate target market. This is a perfect venue for the first theater experience. The crowds are noisy and lively so you the parent won't feel the pressure when your little one gets fidgety.
Couple this with the carousel and the playground and you've got a perfect summer outing.

Adventure Theatre specializes in cultivating new generations of audiences and artists by creating memorable theater experiences in an intimate and interactive environment. We offer a wide variety of activities including live performances of classic and contemporary classic children's stories, theater classes and camps (which complement in-school learning), workshops, birthday parties, and community engagement projects.
