I went in there yesterday to get some opinions on a what would be a good pistol for concealed carry and to look at the XDM and see how it fit my hand. Wow was i amazed at the service i got the persons opinion on what he carried and liked and it just happened to be the perfect match for me as well. The thing i live most about this store as opposed to others i had been to in the state i just moved from is that they arent condescending and dont treat you like and idiot great customer service i will be telling all my friends and relatives to shop here

Adventure sports is by far the best place to find guns, components, etc. If they do not have it, they will give 110% to try and get it. The staff members are very friendly, helpful, and know their guns. Adventure sports is priced very well. I live in the kirkland area, and find it is worth the trip to lynnwood.

    sincerely,
    Chris G.

This place is AWESOME! My dad and I bought my first gun there when I was ten. They paid attention to a father and son (something rare sadly nowadays in gun shops) and they also answered any questions I had growing up about their selections. Since that time I have bought many more guns with them either with my dad, or now that I am of age on my own. Its nice seeing the same faces that worked there 12 years ago still behind the counter and still as knowledgeable and helpful as they have always been. Even their new employees are awesome! Best place I know to buy a gun or shooting accessory! Prices are good too. After comparing online prices on most common guns to in store prices, mark up on most guns is only about $20 more than on line after transfer fees, shipping, and taxes. They are definitely worth $20 extra after years of outstanding customer service!

I'm a newbie when it comes to guns, but I am starting to look.  The staff at Adventure Sports were VERY helpful and respectful given my novice questions.  I will be back when it comes time to purchase.

I have been to this store a few times to browse and pick up some accessories as I heard they had a good selection. Having a good selection is one thing but they are pretty clueless as to the products they sell. I was sold the wrong item 2 times.

Once was a pinky extender for a Keltec pistol magazines. They tried to sell me an extender for a SW magazine and when I told them that it was not the right part, the guy actually snorted at me and said I was wrong. I brought the mag in asked if he can get it on. When he couldn't, not even a "sorry" but acted like I was wasting their time.

Mistakes do happen so I thought I would give them the benefit of doubt but same thing happened with a holster I was going to get and the laser grip that I wanted for my EMP.

Not sure how Adventure Sport got such good ratings from other shoppers but I will never shop there again.

I stopped in yesterday to inquire about getting a new rifle for silhouette shooting.  I spoke with James.  Great guy.  He took the time to do some research for me though he was busy at the time.  I will definitely go back to get the CZ and scope I was looking at.

I didn't know they were even there, but after going in and speaking with them, I discovered that I'd purchased a S&W 622 from them back in the early 90's when they were in the white house on the corner off of 99.

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase shooting related gear.

If you're looking for a gun shop, wait, a GOOD gun shop, look no further. I recently found this place through digging around on the net (various gun forums, yelp, etc.) and am glad I did. I'm sure if you've gone into a few gun shops you'll find at least one of them is filled with folks working there who wouldn't give you the time of day let alone a decent conversation. Adventure Sports is different, the folks there are very approachable, courteous and helpful. They are extremely knowledgable, are happy to answer any question you have (I'm new to firearms, and they've managed to tolerate me just fine :-)) as well as give you product recommendations and their honest opinion on things. They aren't there trying to empty your wallet because you're inexperienced or not sure of what to get, they'll point you towards the value as well as your experience level.

I was just in there today going down my shopping list on a Post-It note and Jim was a great help in telling me about the different options available for what I was looking for, as well as things that I didn't have on my list. He also showed me products for "down the road" when I have more experience as well as explained their features, gives me something to look forward to when I get to that point. In talking with him I learned that they have been at their current location for about 2 years, while they had occupied the old place for around 24. I think Jim said he has been there for about 10 or 12 years, while the other guy working had been there closer to 20. Marcus was very helpful as well, he sold me a SiG P226 .40 and showed me how to take the weapon down as well as the other features on it.

The prices are very competitive to other shops around here and their selection is very impressive. Chances are if it's not on the shelf and they can't order it (which they're more than happy to do) for you then you probably don't need it or it doesn't meet their standards. I'm going to buy my gear here exclusively based on my experience as a customer. Each time I've been there they have made a point of thanking me for my business. Why go anywhere else?

What I am really trying to drive home here with the review is that the atmosphere at this gun shop is low stress. If you're at all like me and new to this I'm sure you've felt a bit nervous just going into a gun store. It's really easy to feel like you're a bother to employees at some places, but that is not the case at Adventure Sports. Walk in, wander around, ask some questions, ask for their opinions on things, they are more than happy and willing to assist you. Go there. Do it.

When shopping for my Glock 19 I called around for prices. One example is "Discount Gun Sales" was 6.5% higher than Adventure Sports. I buzzed in there on my lunch hour, got my Glock and consigned my KelTec P-11 in an hour.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. Their lower price leads me to believe they are competitive and reasonable all the way around.

They have a great selection of guns and a pretty good selection of holsters, etc. However, they didn't have much for left-handed folk Glock owners. We left-handed people are used to that.

GREAT service and excellent price. What's not to love?

What you can't find elsewhere, you can find here. I was looking for some new manufactured M1 Carbine Mags in 10 rounds and guess what?? They have them. I saw a very nice Kel-Tec and bunch of decent holsters as well as tons of clearance stuff. Nice people, nice products, shop here!!
