There are SO MANY guns here. It's actually quite impressive, I'm not even mad! They also have the coolest trophy collection here, a man donated his collection because he was out of room... Poor man. Anyhow, they also sell clothes, ammo, accessories, knives, and pretty much anything else that you might need to kill stuff or defend yourself. I think the shooting range is opening soon at the new location.

Fun place to buy any gun you are looking for (my auto correct changed "gun" to "guy"...hehehehehe)...
They have some really cool stuffed game that was supposedly hunted by the owner.
Gun range will be up and running shortly.
4 stars because of the layaway policy that doesn't let you exchange, cancel, or even store credit the money you put down. What if the person who you are buying the gun for dies? There are no exceptions. I tried to get our money back (store credit would have been just fine) for a gun we layed away on, but they reminded me (very politely) of the layaway policy.
Love their new location! It's the supermarket of guns--literally!!! -

This place has a lot of guns, gun related items, and various outdoor gear. It looks gigantic inside. I can't believe they're going to be moving to a bigger place.
I think they have the best prices for firearms in metro Atlanta. They can be about $10-$50 cheaper. Then again, at other stores that have ranges, they give range credit. So I guess it kinda works out. But sometimes the savings at Adventure Outdoors exceed the range credit at other stores.
There is a dark side to their lower prices though. Those cheap prices are cash/check prices. If you are going to pay by credit card, you have to pay extra. I think it was 3% more. Of course, they won't tell you that until you are about to sign the paperwork and complete the purchase. So if you're ready to buy a gun at Adventure Outdoors, make sure to bring cash or check.
They also have a ton of people shopping there and looking for guns. Because there's so many people needed attention, and they're understaffed, the service can be slow. You just have to be patient if you want to look at a gun.
The staff there can be either nice or pricks. It depends on the day I guess. But I think they're generally cooler if you don't act like an idiot. Hey, I would be a dick too if I have to deal with a ton of retards every day.
Also, I question the staff's gun knowledge. The guy behind the counter kept calling the magazines, "clips." That is a major error. I can see newbies making that mistake, but not someone who works behind the counter, is a gun enthusiast, and is selling guns. How can you trust them if they don't know the difference between a magazine and a clip? It looks bad for a gun shop to make that obvious mistake. Oh well, I guess they're just sales people.
Anyway, I give them major props for their sheer volume of stuff they have and their low prices, provided you bring your cash or checkbook. They do have their minor annoyances, but their positives makes up for it. 3.5 stars.Listed in: Bang Bang!

Great selection of firearms, from .17HMR to .50 Barret rifles, this place has it all in every price range. If you, like me, enjoy shooting, hunting, or both and are in the Atlanta area you need to check this place out.
In addition to the abundance of firearms they also sell ammunition, cleaning and reloading supplies, cases and holsters, safes, knives, camouflage, hunting accessories like tree stands, fishing equipment, some archery equipment, and just about anything else the outdoor aficionado might like.
I cant wait to see the new shop when it opens (it is supposed to have an indoor range even closer to my apartment than Wild West Traders). -

Guns + guns + ammo = Great Odin's beard... that's a lot of guns!
This is THE place for your weapons and ammunition needs in Atlanta Metro. They have damn near everything a normal human being would need.
Expect them to be a bit cold b/c I bet they get a bunch of amateurs that come in to "look around". Once I let the big black dude know my intentions of walking out with a firearm, he was more than helpful. Prices are pretty much par. They carry used firearms as well.
Lots of forms to fill out and they are pretty quick with the background check. Was able to walk out with my new toy in less than 30 minutes!
Seriously.... this is the only place you should consider when purchasing a piece! -

Aww, bummer... I was hoping to be the first to review this place, if only because it seems the other reviewers have already said everything I had to say about it!
That's okay, I'll say it all again, because it merits repeating: good location, amazingly huge inventory, great prices, very helpful and friendly staff. The *only* complaint I have is that their parking situation could use a little help, but really... considering how great this place is otherwise, I can deal with it.
If you need any kind of firearms or accessories, this is THE place to go. Period. -

When the zombies attack this is where I am going. They have every weapon you could want or need here. The new location is an old supermarket that they remodeled into a giant gun super store. The will soon be adding an indoor range so that you can hone your shooting skills.

I have been looking for a specific pistol, a popular specific pistol which no one seem to have in stock or had ridiculous lead times to receive. So the one option I was considering was a purchase out of state and transfer.
Hunting around the internet, I came across Adventure Outdoors, literally in my backyard (well in Cobb, 30 miles from house). Their website stated they could have the firearm in 3-5 days and it was listed about $30 cheaper than any place I looked. Not only that, I didn't have to play the transfer fee. I was happy, but skeptical.
I placed my order online, received a confirmation email and then waited. A few days later, I got an email that my purchase was ready for pick-up. I drove out there during lunch, the store was kind of busy. Few minutes after that, I was with a sales guy, we chatted, completed some paperwork and I was on my way.
The whole experience was excellent. The folks in there were knowledgeable and helpful. When I am in the market for another firearm, I am definitely going to check here first, even though it is not that convenient to my house. -

THE place to prepare for a contingency of the unfriendly sort. Great prices and good selection. The staff is also very knowledgeable and can help you find a firearm that fits your lifestyle. Not for general sporting goods, but hunting, fishing and firearms are the main focus.
Give these guys some business, they were the only store to stand up to Mayor Bloombergs, ridiculous and frivolous lawsuit. -

I only buy cleaning supply from this place since this is the only large gun shop close to Atlanta perimeter. They have a large hunting gear selection, however, this large inventory is limited to hunting only. This place's price is about 5-10% higher than big internet gun shops, which is still in the OK range for local gun shops.

This place is the best place to get firearms and other door supplies. The prices are $20-$50 less than other gun shops in the area and the selection can't be beat. Their selection of holsters and accessories is a little lacking and they haven't had any 9mm in weeks but besides that, its a great place to go and talk guns with very knowledgable people or buy guns at great prices.
