History
Established in 2007
Adventure Dog Ranch was founded by Steve Pinkston with the full support of his wife Kerri, as a cage-free Alternative to traditional Kennels,
Your canine companion gets to play all-day in a supervised pack environment. Our Large Outdoor Play Area encompass over 25,200 Sq Ft. That's more than enough room for even the most active canines to romp and play.
Owner Steve Pinkston has always had a special connection with all animals and he's been around dogs his entire iife. His father Paul, was an Amateur Dog Trainer, competing in field trials across the Pacific NW.
Steve has worked as Boarding Manager at a major Everett Animal Hospital and also worked at several Free-Range Boarding facilities before investing his life savings to open Adventure Dog Ranch.
What sets us apart from other boarding facilities is Steve's Leadership Skills. Dogs Naturally Gravitate to him. We do what we love and love what we do and it shows. Adventure Dogs aren't just clients, they are Family!
Meet the Business Owner: Stephen P.
Another of our big bonuses, is Steve's experience observing thousands of dogs in a pack environment and his skill as a Canine Behavior Specialist/ Dog Trainer.
He can often spot the subtle body language and facial expressions that signal stress or annoyance, long before the average person would. Steve can sense a change in "pack energy," sometimes even before Fido and Spot have noticed. His skills provide him with a great advantage, he doesn't have to wait until there is an issue to intervene, he can be proactive. Steve is able to prevent annoyances from escalating into growls, posturing or bites.
Our Evaluations give us an opportunity to see your dog interact with you and a few select adventure dogs to judge their overall temperament and how comfortable they are around new humans (us) as well as new dogs.
