Advent truly offers buyer representation with the buyer's interest at heart. My wife and I had little experience in buying a house and the folks at Advent were not only patient but guided us through the entire house buying process from start to finish, ensuring that we understood everything to the end.
After viewing what seemed like dozens of properties, we finally made an offer on a perfect house. Our agent was able to submit an offer within hours of us making a decision. At no point did we feel rushed or obligated. We felt in control of the process the whole time, and Advent's focus was with our comfort level on the purchasing process. The folks at Advent were always quick to respond to email and phone even on the weekends and evenings. Throughout the entire process, Advent really was like a conductor that held the entire escrow process together. They took ownership from the beginning to keep the lender, seller agent, appraiser and the escrow company on queue. Without them it would have been like herding cats to keep each group on task.
Some things that made Advent stand out:
- Knowledge - when viewing houses they were able to quickly point out items that needed repair and provide balk park numbers to help us understand what we were about to get into.
- Customer service - As I said, they were always quick to respond and were focused on our needs, not the seller, not the lender. They really did go the extra mile every time.
- Flexibility - They were very flexible on viewing schedules, and had no problems with any last minute property visits.
- Ownership - during escrow there were many parties that we had to deal with and often, these parties were each focused on their own piece of the pie. Advent did not take this approach and understood the end goal and managed the whole process from start to finish, promptly and professionally.
- Savings - Our agent was able to negotiate very good rates with contractors and closing costs with the sellers agent.
In the end, Advent made good on closing by the end of the year and we would highly recommend them for any buyer transaction. -

I have had very little positive experiences with this company! I have items that I requested to have fixed that I filled out on my move in checklist that still have not been addressed, nine months later. They just replaced my stove, probably because it could have been an electrical issue, while I was out of town and I came back to find a stove that wasn't hooked up and couldn't be hooked up but our old stove was gone and all of the baking pans were taken with it. Upon asking advent why the pans were not removed for me since I was not in town or notified my stove would be replaced before leaving town, they explained that it was my fault they were not removed and that I would have to pay to replace the items. This is the first time renting a place that the owner/owner's representative has treated me so awful. I don't recommend them to anyone.

Verdict: This is the company to rent from or to manage your property!
We've been renting an apartment managed by Advent for a little over two months, and they are truly the best! Very friendly, personable, and reliable. Since we've moved in, we've run into a few maintenance issues (some our fault, some not) and the Advent Team has been very responsive to our service requests. (Not to mention patient!!) They are easily reached via email or phone, and are great with follow through. A new service they offer is paying rent via their secure website! Love it - no more checks! The site also shows your history of payments, which is useful.
Overall, a great team of people! I know the owners of our unit feel the same way as well. -

I've know Christina at Advent for about a year now and she is really easy to work with. She is always smiling and goes above and beyond what you would expect from a property manager.
Also, Advent's fees are lower than other property management companies I've looked at and the service extraordinary.
In addition, everyone there can answer all of my questions. It is a requirement for them to have at least 10 years experience to work there.
With Advent, I don't have to worry about my property. Advent does all the works so the property owner can just collect the checks.
I would definitely check out Advent if you are a property owner. They are easy to work with, have low fees, and are extremely professional. -

I've been working with Craig thru Advent for a little over 2yrs now, I can honestly say that i have no complaints. Any questions i have he gets back to me with the answers in no time. Very easy going! Keeps me posted on all the information that goes on in the complex.

Since college I've lived in so many different places. You have decent landlords that do what they're suppose to do, horrible ones, then you have amazing ones like Advent. Christina is our landlord and has been great since the first day I moved in. They have a great process for paying bills, and getting things fixed. I've never had major problems. When we did, they were just small things. They take everything serious and get them fixed right away. Also, communication is great. Friendly people. I highly recommend.

A+++!!! I have dealt with Christina at Advent on many, many occasions. She is the definition of customer service! She did such a fantastic job not only renting out my house, but keeping me in the loop with every facet of the process. I recommend Christina to anyone looking for a property manager!
