Ok, so my review is maybe a little biased, but honest ! My son is 16 years old and the time had come to get his drivers ed completed and do his three lessons with the instructor. I live in Pleasanton and called around to several driving schools to see what kind of programs were offered. (by the way, Advantage is owned by "MY'" family but traveling to San Jose seemed like a crazy thing to do) Anyway, I told my son to call advantage, and not to tell them who you were and see how competitive they were and what they offered. So, it turns out Advantage is cheaper than local schools, and the online portion is incredibly user friendly, so explains my 16yr old son. The in the car sessions were very professional and and the teacher really did a great job of teaching my son. I was really impressed with my son's driving after each lesson. I inspected the car, a very late model car that was way better to teach my son to drive in than my Jeep. After his completion, my son received his certificate and after a couple of months he can return to the DMV as a well taught, educated and confident young driver. I try to Yelp businesses that I deal with, and although this particular school is owned by family, I'm proud to suggest Advantage to anyone. The office staff is incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and after sitting in the office listening to the staff field calls, they go above and beyond to help everyone who calls.. Yea, they're family, but I'm proud of that fact, it makes it that much better when I suggest Advantage Driving School to someone...

We've moved on to the behind the wheel instruction, and so far, it seems to be going well. My son is very happy with his instructor, and seems to be learning a lot, and having a good time with it too. I like that he doesn't come home stressed out - and not that he isn't being corrected, but corrections appear to be handled well. I like that you can pay for each lesson as they come, rather than having to pay it all up front. Scheduling is easy and we've been able to get time slots that coordinate with his school schedule without any problem.

passed my driving test w only 2 errors! Thanks Hassell ^_^
