My Opinion/Story:
I needed a new chiropractor since my last one is too far from where I live and work. After discovering Yelp last year, I decided to see whom Yelp would recommend in my area. Dr. Lam came up pretty high in the list so I decided to check him out. My initial consultation included a full xray of my neck and back. A few weeks later (I had scheduling conflict), I came back to review my xray and see my options. I was a bit intimidated with Dr. Lam since he kinda gave me an impression of a drill sargent. But he went straight to the point discussing my xray. I've never seen how badly I've abused my spine and I was concern. I immediately booked appointments with Dr. Lam and followed the stretches religiously.
I'm seeing him once a month now after a few months of treatment and I even get a 15 min back massage (ohhh that feels so good!) with my visit (no extra charge). I just have to make sure I book it on the right date.
My back and neck feels alot better now but the stretches he recommended really helps. The staff esp. Maria is always pleasant, helpful, informative, and comfortable to talk to. Dr. Lam is great at his work, knows exactly what's causing my pain and always patient and explains everything. He's quick, prompt, and I'm never in a room without any treatments being done, whether it's Dr. Lam adjusting me, Maria giving me the electro-shocks (not as scary as it sounds), or getting my back massage. Did I mention service is awesome? Instead of thinking I have to go to my Chiro again, I'm thinking I can't wait to go to my Chiro, instead. Well mainly because of the back massage.
The office is clean and pleasant... and every now and then, you get to see the future Doctor there.. Dr. Lam's cute little boy assisting Maria... heheh!Listed in: These are a few of my Favorite…

Years of standing all day at work, and all the rigors of life finally caught up to me. My lower back was killing me, sciatic pain radiated from my buttocks to legs. I was in such bad condition, it hurt to bend over. All the pain finally made me seek help.
Called Advantage Chiropractic and made an appointment. I spoke to Maria, offfice manager. I didn't know my crappy insurance covered chiropractic care-- I was just going to pay for it. She took my information anyways. When I went to the appointment, Maria told me my insurance would cover the treatment, $15 copay-- what awesome customer service!
I saw Dr. Nhon Lam. I'll be honest. I was more than a little nervous about someone cracking my back, messing with my neck, etc.. Dr. Lam put me at ease immediately upon meeting him. He was very professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. He told me exactly what he was going to do before he did it. He did crack my back as well as my neck. Contrary to my fears, it didn't hurt at all. Dr. Lam showed me some stretching exercises to help with the sciatic pain and some things I could do at the gym to help strengthen my back.
Walking out to the parking lot, I felt like I had not felt since 3rd grade. All the tension in my back was gone. I felt so loose all over.
For their professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness-- I give Dr. Nhon Lam and Maria at Advantage Chiropractic... 5 Stars -

Though it seems like everyone knows Dr. David Lam, great guy i knew of him before he was a doctor, I'm here to talk about Dr. David Nguyen. I've known him for years also and he's someone i trust.
Being how i play alot of sports and when we were younger we played together, it's great to have a doctor that understand me, how my body works and what i put it through.
Being how i play alot of contact sports i am always banged up. It's not a rush job with him where you come in he does his adjustments and you get the hell out.
I am definately not the most limber guy and he works on stretching me out and showing me new stretches to use to prepare myself. I get my adjustment and if needed a deep tissue massage for my knots. i love how he isn't about rushing me out of the office.
The last thing is and more of why i trust him so much. He's the only doctor that is able to tell me something i don't know about my body. And the most accurate estimate of when i'll be able to get back on the field again. all around the only one i'd trust with my body. -

Dr Lam is awesome. The funny thing is that there are two lams here! But he has good rapport with his patients and i always feel good after his alignment.

I have been a patient of Dr.Lams for about a year now. He and his staff (Maria) are always very professional. They do an outstanding job scheduling my next appt., follwing up with reminder calls & always greet with a smile. Dr.Lam explains my conditions and treatments thorouhgly. If you are in pain, they can really help. Chiropratic care really works. Dr.Lam makes the pain dissapear more and more with each visit. Very Helpfull! Clean facility! Excellent Customer Service! I would recommend them to anyone seeking Chiropractic Services.

I had been suffering from back pain after a gig as a mobile DJ. I endured the pain for a week hoping it would go away. When it didn't, I sought chiropractic help. I had gone to Dr. Nhon Lam after a car accident in the past and have since visited other chiropractors for care, but I keep returning to Dr. Lam. He understands my needs an applies care superbly. He most recently eliminated my back pain (neck, mid and lower back), headaches, and even the pain I had in my Achilles tendon. I will make the trek from SF to SJ for follow up visits to maintain the care he's provided.

Constantly staring at a computer screen all day, I have built up chronic pains on my neck and shoulders. I was referred by a friend of mine who goes to Dr. Nhon Lam and says he is a miracle worker. At first, I was skeptical, but I found out my insurance covers chiropractic care. So I decided to schedule an appointment and try it out.
The place was easy to find and his staff are also really nice. After my first meeting with Dr. Nhon Lam, I got to say, he really is good. He spent the time to explain and answer my questions professionally. Also, he showed me different stretches I can do at home to relieve the pain. The best part was when I got adjusted. I have been going to him for about a month now and I can really feel some of the pressure being relieved. I would recommend him to anyone that needs chiropractic care. 5 stars across the board.
