I've been overdoing it on the computer, as well as in my boxing/kickboxing/bootcamp classes, so I was debating about delaying a visit or just going on a random weekend, so I opted for the latter.

I'd called in an appointment for this past Saturday at 10am (their first) and through some crazy forces and accidents, I couldn't make it to the 10am appointment.  So, I still got in my car, drove from Vegas,  and made it at about 1:45pm (15 minutes before their last appointment time) sans appointment.  Luckily, a buddy of mine had warned them about my late arrival (he had taken my 10am slot), and they still made sure to see me.

Their customer service (from receptionist to the PT assistants, to the PT himself) was excellent.  They were pretty cheerful and smiled quite a bit.  Lyn even joked with me about having to "repair" me quite a few times.  Lol.

I was treated for both wrists, just under my elbows, and my shoulder area.  I'm not gonna lie, I was still pretty amped from the drive over, so it was hard to relax, but once I got in that chair and they started treating  me, I realized why I had taken the time to drive over and be seen by Lyn.  He did tell me to be careful and not overdo it again, and also gave me some tips as to how to prevent getting the same injuries.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I felt better after the treatment on Saturday, and I'm sure that whenever I mess myself up again, I'll definitely have to make the drive.

Nice building, nice office...and so i thought!  And wait who are you guys??? Introductions please!!!???  Professionalism!!!??? Come on now!

I came here mainly to have a physical therapy done on my main complaint, which was my neck!!! however, the RPT said that wasn't the source of my pain!!! I was confused, obviously!!!  So I had my shirt taken off, with 3 individuals including the RPT!!! Creepy I thought, since I had my shirt asked to be removed!!!  The rpt proceeded to examine me with a machine that triggers the pain source!!! THEN BAM!!! He found it, and promised that I'd feel better after the first treatment!!! Then after this, his apprentice, started to use the laser on the pain source, and we chatted a bit, I asked him many questions...because I felt that the establishment was a bit sketchy to begin with.

Moving on...I asked his apprentice more about the establishments, and what, how, a certain device works, and what it does...sadly, I didn't get a straight answer!!! I was told by the apprentice that no one really knows about this establishment, only a word of mouth!!! Then I was thinking to myself...am I gonna get out of this place alive???  WTF did I get myself into!!!  As I said, I wanted to have an open mind and see what other treatments are out there, but this isn't what I had in mind!!! In the end, they slapped my insurance co. with a whopping $300 bill, for what??? I didn't feel any different before I walked in here!!!

Lastly the place seemed dingy, with old equipment, homemade devices, and permanent markers left all over my chest, and my arms!!! No disrespect, but I left with a bad feeling!!! I went here basically because of convenience, I should've gone to cedars sinai to begin with!!! Sorry, I'm never coming back!!!!!!!!!!! Very scary place!!!  I felt like I was in a horror flick or a nightmare, even now, in the middle of the night...I'm still pretty freaked out!!! And why is everyone giving this place a 5star, so creeepy!!!

Tim knows what he's doing.  If you have a problem with any pain, ask for him.  He will look at your area of pain, ask you questions about how it started, and give you recommendations as to how to keep your area of pain from getting worse.

I came to him many times when I hurt my finger from a volleyball accident, random thumb pain, and wrist pain.  In all those times, he was very nice and friendly and helped zap it with the ultra sound and ibuprofen cream.  He gave me recommendations as to how to take care of my finger, wrist, and thumb while I was at home.

Also, my mom had an unexpected lower back pain one day.  I called up Tim and he said to come on over.  He was able to help relieve the pain in her back.

The office has a beautiful view of Los Angeles!

    Parking can be kinda difficult.

This review is for Timothy Hui.

Let me back up a step and say that there is more than one therapist at this location.  So make sure to ask for Tim.

So I had a boo-boo in the name of major wrist pain from using the computer too much.  My wrists were crunchy and popping.  I want my cereal to do that, not my wrists!  Tim was able to figure out that it was from inflamed tissue in my forearms.  After some zapping and application of medicated cream, it's feeling better.

I appreciate that Tim's got a friendly personality to help figure out the problem.  He'll explain what he's doing and tell you not to do whatever it was that caused the problem in the first place.

Pros: The office has a great view of the city and they are open on Saturdays.  The staff are all quite friendly.

Semi-Cons: It takes about an hour for a treatment.

Chances are, you've never experienced anything like Lyn Paul Taylor or his technique for the treatment of pain.  Because it works so quickly, it's like magic, yet it's based entirely on the medical reality of our bodies' inflammatory processes.  Whether it's your arm, elbow, wrist, neck, hip, knee, ankle.....he will "FIX" it!   If you have localized pain, go to Lyn.  He's a genius.

If it was not for Lyn Paul Taylor, I might not be playing the cello at this point. He saved me so many times when I had to be able to perform without pain. The first time Lyn treated me, I had a tendinitis in the right arm which had been there more than six months. I was so concerned and in such pain. I thought I would have to give up playing the cello. Lyn fixed it in one session!  It was in 1999, I think. Since then, I have been "hooked" and I know that, no matter what the problem is with arms, hands, back, fingers, or legs, Lyn will find a quick treatment. Highly recommended. Very nice staff, too!

I don't think one star explains how I feel. Lyn Paul Taylor deserves a no star. I was so mortified to be treated in the manner that I was.

The receptionist was very nice, and introduced me to the other therapist I had spoke with over the phone. The girl didn't turn around to great me. When she finally did turn around she looked like she was 15. I realize that saying that is silly, but in general I already had a strange feeling from the girl.

I started to be nervous when he used a battery tester to "test" whether I was "hot" or not places on my spine that were in pain.

He explained briefly what he was going to do, and that my spine was out. He said he was going to "snap it back into place", and I explained I didn't like machines much. After saying that I was scared of this machine, and was expecting physical therapy not electrical therapy, he said "I don't get paid if you die, and i don't get referrals from you if you aren't well so don't worry"  I feel like this response was a very selfish way to phrase it.

He told the girl to not to give me too much voltage. She smirked, and put the machine on me.

I was very scared of the electrical pads that she put on my back and chest, and after feeling the pulses on my heart and chest, I was letting him know I was starting to feel dizzy.  He took the pads off of me and yelled at me to "get out" of his office. There I was wearing with out my shirt on, and this so called doctor is telling me to get the hell out of his office. The manner in which he kicked me out of his office for being scared of the electrical machines that were supposedly the only machines like them in the world.  Machines similar are used to stop your heart or change it's beat if the power is too strong. I was very nervous and explaining the sensation of feeling dizzy should not warrant the manner in which he kicked me out of his office. I think a professional would understand how I feel and perhaps gently speak to me that I don't need to do this therapy it was ok if I am uncomfortable.  I feel like his ego was really truly getting in the way of being professional. I feel like his energy was brunt, calling me kiddo was demeaning, and then his body language and verbal expression was very unprofessional and made me feel uneasy about what he had done to my body. I went out the car and cried for at least an hour feeling totally shook up. I tried calling my friend who was a body work therapist to see what she had to say. I didn't feel ok to drive! The way the machines made me feel was uneasy and vibrated in my chest, really made me feel emotional, and the way that he treated me made me trust his procedure even less. Can someone respond to these so called electricity machines that are supposed to work magic?  I feel like it can't be healthy safe, and further more, seem hoaky.

I wish this therapist better experiences, and I hope he can heal as he says he can.  I do wish him good work, and luck, as I don't want to see him hurt anyone.
