I'm not sure why my last review isn't showing up..
I'm still going to Dr. Ingham at Advanced Spine & Sports Care. The reason I go is the great relationship I have with Dr. Ingham and his super friendly staff in addition to the great improvement I've had to my bad back. I can now do everything I want to do. I can work out at 100%.. not 75% like I had to before.. and I don't have the constant nagging pain like I used to.
This is the only place you should go to if you have back pain, neck pain etc.
Hopefully the Yelp gods will actually show this review...
This is an honest to goodness great chiropractic and rehabilitation office!1 Previous Review: Show all »

He ripped me off ( Dr. Ingham) with appointments that I did not need and in the end of the day I had to paid $3000dollars from my own pocket. He was telling me that he contacted my insurance company for my benefits and them I found out that the insurance company told him that I was just allow to have 20 visits/appointments per year. But he did tell me that & he kept setting up more appointments without telling me that I was reaching my limit. So, one day he just told me that you owe me $3000 dollars.
Please don't let him do the same to you. -

Dr. Ingham and Dr. Aguilar are awesome! Both doctors will take the time to explain your condition to you and to make sure you know how you can help your treatment be most effective - such as sleep habits.
They also have these massage roller tables that help loosen your back muscles and feel AMAZING while you prep for your adjustment.
You are asked to fill out a form with how you generally feel and where the pain is when you come in, which creates a really great tracking of your progress. Oscar at the desk is also very polite and helpful when it comes to billing and insurance.
I always feel great when I leave after an appointment! And am getting better and better for time in between visits :) -

I was in PAIN! Horrible! Terrible!
I had gone in to look into acupuncture to help with my (poor) circulation and some cramping in my hip and back.
First, the receptionist asked me for my social security number- out loud- in front of a full waiting room! Then, the same assistant left me on a rolling table- when i asked what I was supposed to do or feel (I have never had this treatment before- and did not know what to expect) he snorted and actually walked away!
I was very uncomfortable and upset, the doctor came and spent more time talking about himself than about me or asking me about my back and hip problems. He dropped an acupuncture needle on the floor, and I should have left then. I wish I had.
At the end of the appointment: he demanded I make appointments for twice a week treatments a full month ahead. I made one and he lost interest and walked away without explaining insurance, prices, Anything. They refused to quote me a price for the visit, or for future tratments. I was really freaked out.... I left in more pain, that lasted for DAYS after than what I came in with. I was stiff, sweating and aching... my neck was tight and hip felt sharp pains.
The VERY NEXT DAY, I called to cancel the appointment because of the considerable pain and the incompetent receptionist neglected to cancel the appointment- because a week later I got a BILL in the mail for a missed appointment! When I called to tell the doctor himself why I had cencelled the appointment he kept saying "Well, I don't HAVE to take that charge off, I COULD just send it to collections..." Worst, his staff kept calling to make new appointments, and still sends me mailers even though I have repeatedly demanded they stop! What a nightmare! Spare yourself, your friends and family and DO NOT go here! You do not need the abuse! There are better doctors- I have since rated them myself!
Pros: none whatsoever.
Cons: incompetant, rude & inattentive staff, doctor wants $$$- NOT your health, won't explain ether to you!Listed in: Run for your Life!

I have been going to Dr. Ingham for a few years. I am a new reviewer to Yelp otherwise I would have written this a long time ago. I have back and neck problems due to stress, exercise and sports throughout my life. After many years it takes a toll. Dr. Ingham helped correct my initial problems. Since I started going to Dr. Ingham I've had 2 kids. Between the stress of work, kids and the gym, my visits to Advance Spine and Sports Care have helped when my neck and back start acting up. I truly think they have helped save me from serious back problems.

I went to this place because of shoulder pain. Their ad said they would refer you to someone else if needed, but never said they couldn't treat my condition. I haven't seen a chiropractor for 25 years, but have gotten "adjustments" done by a massage therapist so I don't discount chiropractic care completely. However, I believe it is far more important to have the tension released than to do adjustments, because tension is what causes pain in the first place. I will still have adjustments done a few times a year, but I will get a thorough massage by hand and adjustments elsewhere for the same price. A lot of my tension is in the neck/shoulder area, and 3 sessions here did not release one bit of that tension. I went to a deep tissue specialist and it dramatically improved my range of motion. my goal is to take up yoga to stay relaxed.
In the mean time, my shoulder will heal gradually. it was probably a rotator cuff injury. maybe I will have accupuncture done if it continues to be a problem. -

I have been seeing Dr. Ingham & Dr. Donahue since late February of this year and my husband has been seeing them nearly as long (ech, sorry the late review guys!). I have now completed each stage of my treatment and can feel the improvement in my physical well-being daily. If you could imagine actually looking forward to seeing a doctor, this is the practice that would create that feeling!
I'm not sure where negative experiences of other reviewers came into play, but I assure you Dr. Ingham and his staff are top-of-the-line and that their patients' needs and wellness are their priority. The entire team (Dr. Ingham, Dr. Donahue, Nicole, Kyle, and Carly) are professional, extremely personable, and function smoothly as just that--a team. Both doctors are knowledgable and take the time with patients to thoroughly assess both initial and new physical issues. They believe in the holistic approach and explain each step of the care they provide. There is a positive energy in the office and, much like the review on 3/17, I cannot say enough good things about the crew and care at Advanced Spine & Sports Care. I met Dr. Ingham and Nicole at the Hustle Up the Hancock this year and I am SO glad I took advantage of their referral offer. My husband and I have already referred at least two of our friends to the practice. If you have pain related to your spine (which is not limited to back pain--I actually went in for both shin/knee and back issues) or alignment issues, I would go nowhere other than here.
