Now that I've had my lashes for a couple of weeks I'm hooked! Everyone has been noticing something different about me, but can't put their finger on it... It's like my secret weapon :-)
Some more PROS:
-I noticed that the extensions I lost were those attached to eyelashes that were going to fall out anyway. In other words it wasn't because the adhesive was breaking down or anything like that.
-Jayce is really nice! She does my extensions and they look amazing.
-The owner personally called me when I checked to see if they'd still be open with all the crazy weather. It showed me she really cares about her business.
-When you get the fills it doesn't take as long, and was easier for me to lay still.
-My lashes look even fuller now that I've had a fill.
Overall, I have to say I'm an eyelash-extension-convert and I'll be a repeat customer of advanced skin & body!Listed in: Beauty is...

I am an aesthetician with ten years of experience. I have worked at upscale spas. I like the best of the best. Jennifer and her staff at Advanced Skin and Body Solutions offer exemplary customer service always.
When I want to treat myself I go see the girls at ASBS. These girls are the best! I have seen Michelle and Samantha for lashes .They are very professional and their attention to detail is unparelleled . My lashes look perfect!

I've been to Advanced Skin any Body now for the last 3-4 months and have had both facials as well as eyelash extensions. I really like this place and their staff is super friendly.
Rachel started out doing my eyelash extensions and I loved them! I was walking around batting my eyes at almost anything that moved including the dog. Unfortunately, Rachel left and I've had Jayce doing my extensions. There's always a learning curve when someone new is taking over - for both you and the service provider. Jayce is a sweetie and tries really hard to make sure you're happy. By the 2nd fill, she already had my lashes where I liked them and I'm going back every 2-3 weeks.
I've also had their combo glycolic age defying facial and I just love that!! My skin just glows after I've had one of those and I can say it's my favorite facial of all time.
Advanced Skin and Body has good pricing and solid services with a very friendly staff. They aren't the highest price nor the lowest which actually gives me a comfort that I'm at the right place. Usually, when I've gone to "bargain basement price" places, It's normally been bad and I don't trust those places with my face or eyes. AS&BS has become my "go to" place for all things Face and I'm picky. Unlike a few of the other reviewers here, I AM high maintenance - at least that's what my hubby says... When I need my services done, I go here. -

I bought a Groupon for an Age-Defying Facial here and had a decent experience. I saw Brie and the treatment itself was fine and although I didn't think it did much at first, a week on and I'm noticing my skin does look better (clearer, smoother, more even-toned). I think it's just one of those that takes some time to make your skin renew.
I came during spa week and Jennifer, the owner, offered me another Age-Defying facial for the same Groupon price, as all of the other services were discounted during the week I came in. I thought that was a really nice touch and I took her up on her offer.
Brie did a great job of telling me what she was doing at each step of the way, but I was surprised that she offered NO instructions for after-care; I've had microdermabrasion before but mentioned this was my first glycolic peel and thought she would give me guidance on how best to care for my skin afterwards. Granted, I could have spoken up and asked, but I think it's important for an aesthetician to take the initiative to educate their clients.
Overall, decent experience and I will return. -

I think that I should preface this review with the fact that I am not a person who is particularly high-maintenance, and what I look for in a skin treatment is results. I honestly couldn't care less whether I am offered tea while waiting, and I actually prefer not being told that I 'need' to buy a multitude of products in order to hold onto the vestigial remains of my youthful glow.
Onto the treatment-- micro-dermabrasion and a glycolic peel, which was administered brilliantly by the lovely Jacey. Although the glycolic peel can be uncomfortable, Jacey was extremely competent and was careful to make sure that my scarily-sensitive skin didn't completely disappear in the three minutes that it took to work. Jacey also has a great personality, which really shone through over the course of the treatment-- I never felt awkward or uneasy, as can be the case with some aestheticians.

I found out about Advanced Skin and Body Solutions from a friend who had her lashes done here. In search of a fix for my sensitive eyes with normal lash adhesive, I called them up to see if they could help. Jennifer (owner) told me not to worry, they would definitely take care of me and said they carried a sensitive adhesive which should work just fine.
I went for my appointment and had a chance to meet Jennifer and she was just so caring and sweet. Rachel did my lash fill and was great. After a few trips, they were able to rid the irritation completely which I had from before and used a sensitive adhesive along with different eye pads which they actually special ordered for me.
As soon as I started getting into an appointment routine with ASBS, that is when I re-found my beloved Heather at Lash Out Loud and also when Bellevue became more inconvenient for me.
Though I am a regular elsewhere now I really wanted to make it be known I highly recommend ASBS. Jennifer in particular is one of the nicest people I have met in this line of work and she goes above and beyond in taking care of her customers extremely well. It's been many months since I've been back there and she recently checked on me to see how I was doing with my lashes.
Price-wise they are a few bucks more than the other places I've gone to but I encourage any Eastsiders to check out Advance Skin and Body for really amazing client care and service which is priceless. I went here for Eyelash extensions before my wedding, and then returned for a few fills, and I have to say, these women are fantastic!
These eyelashes made my eyes look SO much more awake and alluring, and I can't wait to go back for a new set! I got so many compliments on my lashes, and my girlfriends were amazed because THEY LOOK SO NATURAL!
Also, they last for about a month, so I spent my entire honeymoon with fantastic lashes and didn't have to mess with mascara!
I highly recommend Advanced Skin and Body Solutions to do your eyelashes! -

Can't imagine life without eyelash extensions now! I got eyelash extensions for the first time and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was life changing. Tiffany did a great job with my lashes and it was so relaxing that I fell asleep a couple times.

I 4got to check in when i was in for my age defying facial - which is awesome! It includes micrdoerm, a glycolic peel & some light treatment thing. I always feel so young & fresh & glowy (make them put the lipid drops on afterwards 4 the glowy). You wont want to ever see your old skin again. And its never too early too start. Especialy you sun worshipers who now wished you hadnt. This can help take it away faster than any prescription fade cream.

Tried this out for spa week and really enjoyed the microderm and light treatment I received. It is a "results-oriented" facility, not necessarily spa like. For the service I received, I wasn't asked to change into a robe, just get up on the table. Which is fine, I just didn't know it would be like that. The staff is very friendly.

I had micro-dermabrasion done there and it helped my skin out a great deal. One of my friends referred me to them and I was not disappointed with their service.
I thought the price paid was pretty inexpensive considering what you may pay at other salons. The staff is great as well. They also introduced to some great products by Jan Marini. These products work well but they are bit pricey. -

Had photorejuvenation here - first the building looks like somewhere an unsuccessful CPA would hole up. I drove by it twice thinking it couldn't possibly be the right place.
Then, the Dr. isn't all that nice, nor a dermatologist, what kind of real Dr. works at a sloppy spa? As we chat I notice she's not too clean or well-groomed herself. Then the room was skanky: stained thin towels, filthy headband, worn eye-protecting goggles.
The owner was as nice as the rooms were disappointing - and the treatment was fine, no problems. Yet, I wouldn't go back. I was so looking forward for that day coz I heard so much good things on yelp reviews. I have to say the people in there are very nice but the microdermabrasion was the worst one so far ( I had been to other places for 3 times). I would say the kate somerville exfoliater doing at home is better than that. I don't see my face have any differences. sorry to say that.

Love love this place for my lashes... they really know good service here. Jennifer the owner is so nice and responsive. I can tell she values her customers and goes out of her way to provide the best customer experience. I get my lashes done by Christie. She's very detailed, does great work and is always booked. I don't mind because that tells me she's really good and in demand. I have been to another place for extensions and came back to Advanced Skin and Body Solutions because of the quality here... there is a big difference in the application, quality glue, thus staying power. Plus they are more than willing to help with a free fix if anything is less perfect since they take pride in their work. Easy 5 stars for me :)

Love the ladies at Advanced Skin and Body Solutions. They are personable, thorough and over-all just a hoot.
I adore that I can email them and Jennifer answers quickly and it is not some 'stock' email. She remembers me and is a true about it.
I have had Rachel and Michelle both do my lashes. I think I fall asleep on them every time. Their rooms have pandora playing, comfy blankets (or heated if need be) to cover up and they are incredibly gentle. Another thing that I like about them is they are FAST. I barely wait & I barely even feel them even touching me. And here is the best -- the lashes are *not* all twisted and odd criss-crossed. They are straight, clean and beautiful. They are so great about making them look whatever way I wish. Long and delicate to thick/over the top look like some porn star (yes I said it!!).
I have also had microabrasions done. Once again, great work ladies!!

I went in reading all these rave reviews only to find none of it true
maybe I caught them on a off day. I had called in to ask some questions
about lash extensions and the receptionist daniell was really unhelpful and fake. After that I decided to go there and take a look around and give it a second chance. The facility was not what or where I expected for the price it just seemed out of place maybe more suited to a downtown Bellevue. No one greeted me but I did hear people in rooms and overheard some pretty inapproiate conversations. After that I left not to return I did some research and found a better place and my lashes look great. I guess the saying is true only one chance for a first impression.

I'm writing this in response to my original review since I don't think there is an option for this. It seems that there needs to be some clarification.
First, I did not call the office after leaving. We were actually discussing things on the walk back to the car. I hadn't reached the car yet, so I walked back into the building and asked about the photorejuvenation and Jennifer did ask Michele who claimed my mom was sleeping. When I asked my mom if she fell asleep, she said no. She said she had her eyes closed as instructed because some crystal particles could get into her eyes when they did the microdermabrasion. She opened her eyes when she was told to leave but she was not asleep. I do not believe my mom would have any incentive to lie to me about whether or not she fell asleep but perhaps a sick employee who was not feeling well and perhaps didn't feel 100% may.
Next, I was never told that the reason Jennifer was tearing up all day was due to a broken blood vessel. I did ask if she was ok but never got a straight answer. Just some mumbling about being all right with no explanation but she was also occupied because she was on the phone. But based on just appearances she did not seem to appear to be fine. If she had explained it was a broken blood vessel to me, it would not have made me or my mom feel uncomfortable. I am sure that she may have encountered several other people that day who noticed the same thing and probably asked the same question. She may have told them what the problem was but she certainly did not tell me. I guess it's good news to hear that it wasn't anything really bad.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I would recommend this place to a friend. I found this spa through a Living Social deal and for the price I paid it was well worth my investment! I got the "Age-Defying" treatment by Michelle and afterwards I felt my skin taking a sigh of relief :) Michelle is super friendly and was gentle with my skin...although the Microdermabrasion is no walk in the park. Check it out and see if they have any special promotions so you can give it a go!

This place couldn't get any better for skin care. I love the new location, and they really know how to treat customers. I have tried similar treatments in California, but cannot find anything that compares to the way they make my complexion glow. THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB!

I read some previous reviews that people had bad experiences here so I went into my appointment being very skeptical. I was surprised to find that this place was better than some of the reviews had led me to believe. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I got microderm done and my skin felt and looked great after my appointment. I will definately be coming back for more treatments!

Everyone that I've come across from Jennifer the owner to all the girls i've had my eyelashes done by (Rachel, Michelle, and Kristy) have been absolutely amazing!!!! They are always running specials and always willing to work with your schedule. They are open till 8 most nights so it's easy to get in after work. I had my first microdermabrasion last week with Jayce and she was so personable and explained eveything she was doing and I love the results. When I first came to this office back in October I thought I was only going to be a one-time customer for lashes but I can't seem to stop and I just keep coming back for more!!! You won't be disappointed!

I purchased a groupon for me and my best friend for microderm abrasion plus photorejuvination facial. We both saw Jacey and it was so amazing! She was sweet and gentle but very knowledgable so we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. It was relaxing and she took her time and we both look and feel fantastic! Will definitely be back for more!!!

as my friend snickers she says... they are extensions.. holy cow really? I want them.... how much?
silence...... the intial fee is $195 ... oh great.. hmm I don't know about that one... but they do look good.. so I made the appointment with ginger..
so I do.. I drive all the way to FACTORIA to this janky looking building.. that says advanced eye care.. what? damn it.. am I in the wrong place... this is the address... so I go in and ask.. oh I see there is a door with the business name on it... geeze it's small and you can hear everyone talk... so I watch my voice level in there....so I check in and sit down... and here walks out a little women smaller than me with big curly hair.. goregous..really tan...so I feel ok about it....hahaha
she tells me to lay down and asks me what kind of extensions I want.. so I say.. just like my friend jessica and make them dramatic.. I am kind of a dramatic girl!!! so.. she did them.. pretty amazing.. great... cool.........they look really amazing and natural.. not as dramatic as I imagined but hey whatever..... they were pretty cute...so I am hooked like a crack addict hooked on crack....
so for each 3 week fiil that I went to which cost $60 dollars .. I felt like it wasn't as great as the intial application.. but whatever.... the thing that bothered me was that since I was coming in so frequently and referring people to her.. she got really popular and I had to prebook a a couple months in advance.. which was fine.. but if you don't come to your appointment.. they still charge you.. which I understand completely... anyhow.. so in the summer time she was getting married.. and the whole time not once, not twice, but until the date of her wedding which was my birthday... and I needed my lashes to look amazing!!!!!!!!! anyways... she kept picking up her phone and leaving the room.. our appointment time was 45 mins long.. everytime.. and never ever over...... however, she seemed to be able to do my fill and her bookings at the same time? under 45... nope.. she missed a couple of sections and it makes me pretty angry.. when she did my redo.. she wasn't that nice about it....and doing clients and picking up your phone really? I understand you are getting married but I am paying you to do my fill every three weeks.. freaking a.. do your job and make me look beautiful.... so obviously I am a little bitter and have grown them out... but now I am in search of a new person in seattle.. I am over unprofessional people...... that take my hard earned money.. I work really hard for it .. and so should you!!! over it......... any new referrals? and the only reason why they even get two stars is because they actual do a good job.... but only when they are new..... not when they are popular... -

I decided that I was going to try eyelash extensions after seeing something on the tube late one night and spent a few days looking for reviews online and comparing prices. I found Advanced Skin and Body solutions today. I asked for an appointment the same day and Michele offered to stay late and get me in for my full new movie star eyelashes! I have a tough schedule to work around so most places that I check out are last minute ideas. She asked me where I was coming from told me exactly what to expect, how to get there (a little way past Factoria mall), where to park, how to find their door and other questions I asked. She had such a pleasant phone personality that I was excited to meet her. I showed up a little early and checked the place out and it's cute! I was greeted, offered water or tea, filled out a short sheet of basic information and then I got to chat with Michele before we started. Just as I expected, she was adorable and had a great personality! For the record, I have your basic almond shaped asian eyes with stubby little eyelashes. Pretty sad little eyelashes in fact. I was shown a bunch of choices and she explained what it would look like and her answers were helpful. I decided that I wanted the longest eyelashes I could get with as much volume. Now, you might be thinking this would look unnatural but I promise you, it did not. The room we were in was a decent size, the decore was clean and cute and I felt comfortable on a soft blanket. There was a towel under my head and one rolled up to support my neck. She put these cool gel pads under my eyes to hold down my lower eyelashes so they don't stick to the upper ones. The gel was nice and cool. We chatted while she attached the lashes. The time went by quickly because Michele was pretty funny and she answered all my questions about all the other services they offered. Which was great! She said I could rest and take a little nap if I wanted to as well. Yay! She's a perfectionist so she went a little longer than planned but she was never in a rush and explained what she was doing from time to time. It's really odd having your eyes closed and not get to see what's happening so it's nice to have someone explain what they are doing to you. She explained the dos and don't and then I got to open my eyes and look. I was in love with my new lashes! They looked AMAZING! This is the way I should have been born! They looked pretty natural for being so long. I saw the $100 special on yelp for the "movie star eyelashes" which is a kick ass deal considering a new full sets normally runs $185! Definitely worth my hard earned money. I love them and I'm definintely going back for my fill in a few weeks and requesting Michele! Alright boys, can't wait to bat my eyelashes at you!

I was introduced to this place originally via a living social deal and have continued coming back for treatments ever since. Katie C. did my first facial/ microderm. And I've liked all other others girls who have taken care of me as well. Specifically I appreciate that they explain the treatment before starting and make you feel comfortable throughout the. Prices are reasonable (moderate) and the facility is clean which is a huge plus. I hate it when clinicians don't wash their hands or when rooms are cluttered and dirty. But that is just not a problem at this place.

Imagine a teeth cleaning at the dentist office... Laying back staring at stained paneled ceiling tiles over head, flourescent lighting screaming down, watching cars zooming by on the busy street outside, listening to conversations in the waiting room... But wait, during a spa treatment? Yup. Then imagine your esthetician, nice as she may be, not verbally walking you through the uncomfortable process (toning vacuum, microdermabrasion, chemical peel, light treatment). I have never had a peel applied without an "ok, now this is the peel, let me know how it feels".... Especialy right after a microdermabrasion! I have been to over 25 spas in my time and this is the most unprofessional by far. I bought the Age Defying Facial on Groupon which says it was a $180 value for $69. Well, they now sell it for $69 anyway according to their website. My skin feels nice and smooth, but I will not be going back, nor referring this "spa" to anyone.
