I discovered the salon when doing a google search for extensions because of a horrible hair cut and damaged chemical color process that left my once long hair choppy and in sad shape.
The complimentary consultation was easy and no pressure. After consideration I realized I needed more time to think and not ready for the investment.
Melinda was very friendly and mentioned they have a full service salon as well. I desperately needed a cut and color but was terrified of another bad experience give my last "new stylist".
I was overwhelmingly surprised and delighted with the results! The girls are fantastic and gold stars for the entire experience. In this day and age where service is often left behind but prices continue to rise, it was a delight to find the opposite to be true here.
The prices are reasonable, service superb, staff wonderful, professional with a warm and intimate surrounding. It is not a factory of stylist but has a boutique without attitude feel.
I am hooked and a new client for life!!! THANK YOU girls!
I wrote a review about AHC last May, 09. I am still very, very happy with Melinda the owner and hair stylist. I just received the best haircut and color this week from her. I can honestly say that it is the best hair cut I have ever had. I have never met a more creative and talented Artist. Not only can she do beautiful extensions, her cuts and color are phenomenal!!!!!!!

Okay everyone... seriously... if you've EVER wanted hair extensions... to try them out ... to have long hair ... to look gorgeous for that wedding ... to blow your first date away ... to get the most attention at the club... THIS IS THE PLACE!
I have always wanted to have beautiful long, full hair and yesterday that dream came true!!! I discovered Melinda from Advanced Hair Concepts by searching around the internet for a type of hair extensions that didn't glue or have to be braided into my hair. We had a consultation in one of the private rooms and Melinda was extremely personable and informative about the hair extension process. When it was time to have my new look, I was not hesitant at all, for I knew I was in the hands of a true professional. My long, full hair is easy to care for and looks so natural. It will help my career as a professional vocalist by adding that extra special glamour. All my friends love it and actually, I was please that some people didn't even notice! A testimony to how realistic the extensions really are! I highly recommend Advanced Hair Concepts ... just pop in for a consultation and find out what they're all about!
I love this place. I discovered Melinda who is the main stylist here a year ago, when she was at a little space inside another hair salon. She specializes in hair extensions. She has an assistant Lisa working for her and both of them are great.
I invested in a very nice set of hair extensions last year. They are very costly, but Melinda only uses the best hair, so I kept the hair for close to a year. Melinda does a fantastic job of matching your extensions to your hair color and texture perfectly so it looks just like your hair, but better. She is also a great colorist in which she can dye your hair to match the extensions too.
I've had hair extensions before, but none were as good as Melinda. She finally got her own space. Its in a medical building, but its very cute and has separated rooms for privacy almost. I highly recommend if you want hair extensions, go see Melinda.
Keep in mind hair extensions are an investment so they are very costly. Also, the cost to maintain them once every couple months is costly as well.
I love Melinda and her staff. No one ever knows I have extensions until I tell them. This place is amazing and I am addicted to having extensions.
I've been going to Melinda for about 3 or 4 years now, she is simply the best and I can't imagine going anywhere else. She and her team are very warm and friendly (besides being drop dead gorgeous) and always make me feel comfortable and chatty. The salon is elegant and the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the cut and color that I always get. I can tell that Melinda has a passion for what she does and it shows, I totally trust her with my hair. I go in a silver wooly mammoth and come out a sleek sexy younger me!
