Established in 1983
After finishing Dermatology training at Brown University Hospitals, Dr. Rosenfeld established his private, office-based practice in downtown Worcester, in 1983. The office moved to Park Ave to a larger space in 1986, and incorporated as Advanced Dermatology, in 1991. Ms. Christal Belanger joined the staff in 2000, as an aesthetician. The office has been serving the needs of patients in Central Mass for over 25 years, for treatment of problems concerning the skin, scalp, hair, and nails. Cosmetic products and services, such as peels, microdermabrasion, electrolysis, facials, laser hair removal, and sclerotherapy, are also available.
Meet the Business Owner: Thomas R.
Dr. Rosenfeld graduated from Queens College of CUNY in 1974 as Phi Beta Kappa. After getting his M.D. degree at Medical College of Virginia -VCU, he had 2 years training in Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital, N.Y. His Dermatology Fellowship was served at Brown University Affiliated Hospitals, 1980-1983. He is Board Certified in Dermatolgy. He established annual free skin cancer screening clinics in 1985 at Worcester City Hospital, which continues as an annual event every May at UMass Hospital - Hahnemann Campus. He is past President of the Worcester District Medical Society, and serves on the medical staff at UMass-Memorial Hospital and Saint Vincent Hospital. He has spoken on skin related issues on WTAG and WSRS.
