I stopped by in the afternoon to ask if they could scan a sheet, and save it as a PDF. Pretty simple, right? I also asked how late they would be open. Answer: 7:30. Ok, great, I thought. More than enough time to study and have dinner, before heading back out. I got there at 7:10. The door was open, lights were on, machines were on, but no one was there. I waited for ten minutes, calling out "hello?" several times, before a guy finally came in the front door.
He immediately opened with, "GET OUT! You can't be in here!" Are you kidding me? Not being used to getting shouted at by shop clerks, I was confused and flustered. I explained that I was there as a customer, to scan a sheet.
He told me they were closed. I told him, the girl in the shop told me earlier today closing time was 7:30. I told him I had one sheet to scan - ONE SHEET - and begged him to just let me scan it. He told me no, he didn't know how to work the scanner. ??!! Really? You work in a copy shop, but don't know how to scan a sheet of paper?
To make a long story short - this guy was just a total jerk.
The girl gave me wrong information about the closing time - a simple mistake - but for this guy to leave the place open and unlocked, and then shout at me like I'd done something wrong, (when actually it's their mistake that I came after closing in the first place) and then refuse to take an extra 30 seconds to let me scan one sheet - all in all, a very bad experience.
This place is both inconvenient and infuriating. -

Small, hot shop that's licensed to print many of the NYU logos, this is the place to go if you need letterhead or other forms printed for the university.
For the rest of us, there are little copiers up front for personal use, or if you have a larger order, you can work with people behind the counter.
Service isn't particularly friendly and the shop seems rather small and slow (a business card order would take not 2 days but 1.5 weeks?). -

I didn't realize that they didn't have computers you could use in order to print, so I tried emailing them my paper (ugh! midterms!) and that didn't work (I'm not entirely Mac savvy as of yet) but they were nice enough to let me actually use their computer in order to copy and paste my paper into Word from my email. They couldn't have been nicer!

This is a good business. I e-mailed them forms to fax, they did it, and waited for me to run out and get cash ($10 credit card minimum).
B/W copies are pretty cheap, starting at 5c/copy and lower for bigger orders. I like it better than PrintMor because it's cheaper and closer to NYU Stern. -

I dropped off some of my bulky textbooks to get cut and bound into sections. They did same-day service for me and did a good job, charging $30 to get two books cut into 4 sections each. The only bad thing is that they didn't put a cover page on the sections--maybe you have to ask for that.
