I brought my S4 to ADS over the weekend and was greeted by Phil. Phil's professionalism, knowledge and customer service are reasons why I'd come again. The attention to detail on my car is just icing on the cake.
I went in for a exterior/interior detail and my car went in pretty dirty with tree sap chemical marks over my car and my car came out looking really really good. There were still chemical marks from the tree and swirls from previous sh*tty detailers and these were understandable because in order to combat and get rid of these then a buff would be needed.
Phil buffed one side of my trunk and was able to show me the striking contrast of what he and ADS could offer to make my car look like it was on the lot. I'm scheduling an appointment once a day opens up because Phil is the best detailer Ive been to in the City.
Great working with him and will continue in the future -

I was initially referred to Phil through the Club Lexus forum that I regularly post on...
So, several days before a big car meet, I communicated to Phil via text (he responds very quickly to texts!) that I needed a hand wash and hand wax service. I normally hand wash my own car, and I'm very picky about what touches my car...but I had been busy with work and did not have time to wash my car before the big meet.
He was already overbooked (since I contacted him last minute), but he went out of his way and was willing to squeeze me into the schedule on a busy Saturday afternoon. He even offered me a free Lexus loaner car if I needed one!
Anyhoos, Saturday afternoon came and I arrived as scheduled. The driveway there is wide and not very steep (GREAT for lowered cars). I parked inside the shop and he welcomed me warmly and I went over with him what kind of service I wanted done to my Lexus IS300. He told me no problem and quoted me a VERY reasonable price for a hand wash and wax which would take about 1.5 hours.
He personally hand washed my rims, my BBK calipers, and the car....and then he personally hand waxed my car as well. He took his time in waxing and as such, I could tell he was very detail oriented. He also took the time to show me what materials he used to wash my car with (I'm very picky about what touches my black car as black paint swirls and scratches easily) This really did put me at ease.
The whole time he was washing and waxing my car, I was chatting him up about misc things. Super friendly guy.
1.5 hours passed in no time, and my black car was shiny again after 2 months of neglect!
I would definitely come back here again for any washing, waxing, and/or detailing services! -

Came in a week ago with a Groupon for detailing my Pilot, and was totally satisfied with the nice work. Phil was able to give my carpets a deep clean and also dyed it to make it look great. Noticed that they have a Yelp deal for detailing as well, so may eventually take advantage of that with my other car.
Came in this week to get some deep scratches off of my Lexus. Phil's crew was able to buff out as much as he could fill it in with some touch up and clear coat. I've also scheduled another appointment to get some dings repaired on the Lexus as well.
They do a top notch job, and and have great service. Totally recommend going to ADS Mobile for your auto detailing needs. -

Phil was able to change a couple of my tires for significantly less than what I was quoted at other tire shops nearby. I also had my car brought back up to speed detail-wise after it was attacked by sap and Winter/Spring. I really am grateful for Phil's honesty and commitment to excellent service; you can really tell that he cares about each and every car that he works on. Thanks again Phil!

I honestly do not know why this "business " has such high reviews. I purchased a crowdsaving coupon for $79 and the fine print stated that for a dark color I will be charged $10 but was charged $20, I realized it after, and I was charged additional $25 to buff my car which was fine because I was informed of that prior to cleaning. I expected a good internal car wash. After getting home and looking over my car again, I have discovered that my car was washed very poorly leaving it ...well dirty. Dirty windows and side doors, coffee marks and my truck had dirt in it and the plastic bin that I had there was thrown inside and everything was all over the trunk. I contacted ADS Mobile, Phil, about being not happy about the washing that cost me $79 but I could have gotten my car wash for fraction of the price and asked for explanation and have not receive an answer back. I emailed again Phil few days later including pictures of the left stains and also did not receive a respond.
Save yourself the trouble and take your car anywhere else but ADS Mobile. Shame on you. -

We purchased 2 Groupons for the Interior and Exterior auto detail and headlight restoration. I initially called in and received their voice greeting stating the best way to contact ADS mobile was through text messages. I sent in a text and less than 1 minute later I receive a quick response and set an appointment. Unfortunately, I got into a minor accident with my vehicle and instead of canceling the appt. Phil was okay with swapping the groupons with my boyfriends car.
The shop is conveniently located near our workplace so we were able to come in and drop off the car. Phil was very helpful and explained the breakdown of the auto detail from the headlight restoration, carpet cleaning, and even removing small scratches. My boyfriend has a black car so you can definitely see small scratches here and there. Also, he never got his headlights cleaned before and because of that they turned into a foggy, yellow color. During the breakdown, Phil notified us he'll try his best since we're supposed to get it cleaned often. While we were there we decided to schedule the second groupon detail for my car. His calendar was fully booked but, he went out of his way to fit me into his busy schedule.
Overall, we were happy with the results of the detailing and customer service! The car was very pristine, I really liked their work on the headlight restoration. I have yet to bring my car in and believe it needs more attention than my boyfriends car. Until then, I'll continue this review after my appointment with Phil. -

I just used these guys for the first time. I found out about them via a promotion online. WOW...great service, great deal, made my 10 year old Mazda MPV shine. Cleaned the carpets and stains from all the kids dropping stuff on the floor. Fabulous job...now it is my job to keep the kids from getting it dirty again....Thank you soooo much

GROUP-ON BUYERS BEWARE!
100% agreement with all other 1 or 2 star ratings. Similarly, I had a Group-on--seems to be a common theme with low ratings--and the work was poor at best.
INTERIOR was vacuumed and wiped down with armor all, but NO DETAILING whatsoever as advertised. Lots of dust and dirt still remained. I would expect this type of work from a local car wash shop.
EXTERIOR was buffed, but again, NO DETAILING at all. Even worse, Phil did not wash the car before buffing, so all I got was shiny dirt and dead bugs on my car. Tires were shiny and rims ok, so I can't complain.
Headlights were already clean (no clouding) and Phil could not fix the windshield ding (too big), so got little value here. Further, I was upsold on a buffing out a few minor scrapes on the bumper area for an extra $30. Also, my SUV cost an extra $30.
Overall, I would not come back for business. Phil is a nice guy, however, his workmanship is garbage, especially for those redeeming Groupons. $60 groupon + $60 in additional fees (SUV + scrapes) = $120 for squeaky seats, a once-over vacuum, and a shiny, dirty car. Not a great deal. -

I went to Phil at ADS to get a detail because I had purchased a groupon. I have gotten my car detailed at several places before but I must say that Phil did the best job so far. He noticed that the paint on my spoiler was also chipping (thats what I get for buying a pre-painted aftermarket spoiler) and gave me a quote for a paint job on the spoiler. I have an all-black leather interior and the places I have gone before applied way too much conditioner and left my interior all shiny and greasy-looking. At ADS the offered to condition it WITHOUT the shine =) They also did a very good job polishing my rims and making them look new! I would definitely recommend this place and go back again myself! Also, great job on the headlight restoration!

Phil runs the show over here and really goes above and beyond for his customers. This is a small operation, but Phil has been trained by the best at Lexus and is now doing something that he is passionate about and quite good at.
I bought a Groupon, but then came back for some more advanced detailing work. He turned my shabby '94 Infiniti into a totally new, and beautiful luxury car! I'm very pleased with his work and will be recommending him to all my friends. -

Phil is the BEST!
We went in looking to have some windows tinted and we were so impressed we ended up agreeing to have some interior detailing done as well! He was very clear about exactly what needed to be done, and took time to explain the process, amount of time it would take and the costs. He even threw in a complimentary wash and wax because it was the week of my birthday (I am pretty sure this is not standard procedure so don't hold him to it haha) he is just THAT nice.
His professionalism, fair prices, and attention to detail made me feel comfortable that I was making the best decision. -

Phil is a miracle worker! My black volvo had been neglected, coupled with outdoor parking in east coast winters and near the beach in summer.
You'd have never known is was 2007 or the harsh conditions I had subjected it to when Phil and his team were done! It is like a new car!
Was EXTREMELY reasonable cost given the work he did, coupled with amazing attention to detail, personal service ( he offered to drop me off and pick me up as I work nearby- who does that?!) I will be having him care for my car regularly now.

What can I said... I was WOW with Ads mobile car service!!
I have a mini copper in RED so you can see if it is not wash well or if it has marks!! I had a in and out detail and it was great with all the details. He fixs my cup holder that come out of the rubber cup!! ( I was really happy about that!!) The small details is what makes Ads mobile car service a great place to get a full detail !!!

For an AMAZING price he was able to clean up 1) my headlights 2) scratches on the body and interior of my car 3) and a ton of little pock marks on the hood of my car. After all of the above (plus a a clay-bar and wax) my car was super shiny and smooth.
I wasn't sure what to expect at first, because I've never been to a detailer before, but Phil was ultra friendly and took a lot of time figuring out what I wanted done. He even gave me an "on the spot" demonstration on how he clears up tiny marks where rocks and bugs hit the hood of my car.
In order to do all the necessary repairs I had to leave my car over night which might have been a downside but Phil was nice enough to drive me home.
I really appreciate the job that Phil and ADS mobile did for my car. I would definitely recommend this service in case you need a detailer. -

Hands down the BEST auto detailer! Phil is amazing at what he does and his prices are more than reasonable.
I took advantage of the $69 Groupon deal this past Saturday and he made my 2004 Jetta look (almost) brand new. He washed, waxed, clay barred, polished, and took care of my cloudy headlight. My headlights were so cloudy to the point that you couldn't even see the headlights through them and I was considering replacing them for $260.. but I thought I'd give Phil a try first. At first look, Phil thought he could only get about 50% of the murkiness, but at the end, he was able to get all of it out and my headlights look brand new! I will post some pictures of before and after.
Also, lucky for me, his appointment after mine canceled so, he took his time and threw in some extras (conditioning the leather seats and fixing spills on the console, and shampooing the carpets) for my car. And what a difference! I will also post those pictures. From now on, I will take my car in to Phil every few month to get both exterior and interior. Thanks so much, Phil! -

Phil worked with my schedule since I wasn't able to drop off my car during his normal business hours. I was even able to pick it up in the evening and for that he was very accommodating. I used a coupon for his services and ended up spending extra for a more detailed cleaning. I'm very happy with how he turned my old a** Accord into a whole new car! Everything was SO clean - not a nook or cranny was missed. Very happy with the work and will definitely be coming back! Thanks, Phil!

I've got a gray sedan so dust and grime don't really show on it, so I've let it get dirty without caring too much in recent years. It was probably about 2 years since I last waxed, clay-bar'd, shampooed or otherwise pampered my car (discounting the paint scratch-fests that are automated drive-thru car washes). I called Phil to set up a meeting to determine what my car needed to get back to showroom finish and showed up Thursday after work. He spent 10 minutes going in-and-around the car, inspecting everything, making careful notes and listening to my requests, and vice-versa making suggestions based on his experience.
Service date was set for this past Sunday. I dropped my car off dull-eyed and groggy at noon, and when I picked it up around 5, the car was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. What a makeover! All the tree sap? Gone! Spilled caramel coffee in my cupholders that made a sticky, smelly mess? Gone! Scratches in the paint both large and small? Gone gone gone!!
Once again Phil demonstrated why he's the best at what he does.
Professionalism? Check
Reasonable cost given the sheer amount of labor that he had to pour into fixing my ugly duckling? Check
Top-notch quality? Double check!

I called today and asked about headlight restoration. I spoke to Phil and I described that my headlights have pretty bad oxidation and yellowish color from sitting under the sun for so many years. Phil said that was not a problem and just bring the car in. Once I got there, Phil checked it out and gave me a quote. It took him about 30mins to do both headlights and let me tell you they look as good as new! I didn't think it was possible for my headlights to look that good again!
Before this I contemplated on purchasing new headlights but it was so expensive. This was definitely worth it and Phil does excellent and quality work. I'll be bringing my car back in for a full detail. Highly recommended!!! -

I had a problem and Phil solved it.
It started one hot summer day when a tube of chapstick exploded and a gollop bigger than a half dollar settled onto my seat. I tried to clean it and made it worse adding a large water stain to my grease spot.
I let the summer pass before I called Phil and explained my problem. He noted it was a tough one compounded by how long I waited to call him and possibly by the style of cloth my seats were. But he said, bring it, I'll take a look and maybe I can help. If I get it, I'll charge you, if I don't no harm, no foul. He gave me a reasonable, ballpark quote and we made a date.
How could I pass up the chance he could save my seat?
Sure enough, I had the bad kind of cloth and Phil was not terribly optimistic he could fix it. But he promised to give it shot. Half hour later, he triumphantly announced he got it!
Phil saved the seat and my affections towards my car. That grease spot just bummed me out every time I got in her. Now I smile with happiness and I owe it all to Phil! -

I'm as skeptical as they come especially when it pertains to industries in which companies often take advantage of customers. I took my car in to have Phil clean the interior (dog ruined it) and he did an awesome job. His attention to detail also exceeded my expectations when he even removed the screwed down foot piece on the driver side to clean the carpet.
Phil also did a demo on my car in which he color sanded my trunk to show me how well he can get the paint to look. Apparently, it's a step beyond claying. After he did that sample, I drove the car over to California Detailing in SF and the owner was honest and said that whoever color sanded my hood did a terrific job.
Bring your car to Phil with confidence. He knows what he's doing, he won't price-gauge you, and he won't offer you any services he doesn't think you need. The value for your money, in an industry with inflated prices, will be worth your time to see Phil.
Oh yea, and you will not find a place anywhere where they'll clean, vacuum, and hand wax your car for $25. -

Took my car here on Sunday. I have an older toyota which is still running great but looked really weathered on the outside. Wasn't even sure if it could even be detailed because it has lived outside all the time. It was a beautiful cherry red when it was new and was turned into two different colors by mother nature. Not being optimistic, I asked Phil what he could do with it. He gave me a demo, as he offers different packages. I went for the more expensive one since my old car needed a bit more attention. I left the car overnight due to the amount of work that needed to be done. Went back Monday night to pick it up and I was blown away! It looked practically brand new. He fixed my rusty windshield wipers and made them like new too! Now I have my shiny red car back again. I think I'll keep it.
Phil wasn't there when I picked up the car so I didn't get to say a proper thank you, so Phil - Thanks!

I went to ADS mobile for a auto detail service and was very unsatisfied with the service. The owner asked if I was more concerned with the interior or the exterior, which I thought was strange but I told him the interior.
the results:
The interior carpets were vacuumed, the leather seats were some what cleaned, not all the interior windows were cleaned the overhead was not touched.
The exterior was washed, they left on un-wiped wax and the parts of the car had very shinny bugs. So they didn't wash off all the bugs and waxed and buffed the bugs on the car, amazing.
It seemed because I was using a Groupon they just rushed the car through.
I had much better results taking my car to a $21.00 interior exterior car wash..
They should call this place the "Shinny Bug Detail Shop." -

Expected more. We bought the groupon $69 for an Interior-and-Exterior Auto Detail and a Headlight Restoration with Lifetime Warranty at ADS Mobile in San Bruno ($185 Value). Had to pay $50 extra for taking some scratches off a 1/4 panel. They were more interested in selling you more services. It didn't even include a buff wax. We've had better from other places. Lots of places inside weren't even cleaned or touched. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend this place.

I purchased their $69 gruopon deal. It was the worst car wash experiences ever. I cannot call this place an auto detailing. I had to go back and show him all the spots that they left on the body and windows. Rims were also so dusty. Inside, each floor mat had dusty food print. So on the gruopon it says it's originally $140. Who pays $140 for a crappy car wash. It's a scam and they got me. Just go to Millbrae car wash pay less and get a WAY better car wash/

There's a reason these guys continue to get 5 Star ratings, and it's not because of their organized and highly professional shop layout.
We brought our Benz in to have the windows tinted and were impressed with the quality and timeliness at which everything was taken care of. What Phil promised, he delivered.
I will be bringing the car back to have the front detailed. Our corvette also needs some help, and know I feel confident that there's a place to go where I won't be ripped off, while receiving quality work.
I'm kind of glad that you guys keep your place looking a little messy - it may help keep your prices as reasonable as they are.

When I bought my 1999 Honda in 2001 it ran like a champ, but had a lot of rock damage to the paint on the hood and fender from road debris. Since I've had it the rear bumper had gotten totally bleached out from sitting in the sun and it had the usual ten year accumulation of scratches. I've just lived with it, thinking I'd need a new paint job, till now.
I took advantage of the Groupon offer and got my little buddy over to see Phil at ADS Mobile. He talked me through my options, showed me some samples of his work, helped me decide what work should be done, and LOANED me his personal car to use for the day. When I got back the car SPARKLED. Someone asked me yesterday if this is the same car I've been driving?!! It still runs like a champ AND now it's gone from ghetto to gorgeous!
The Groupon offer has increased Phil's business so don't be frustrated by trying to reach him by calling, I recommend contacting him by text. You won't be disappointed, and the Groupon offer is great!

Through a buddy of mine, I came here for an estimate/advice on a couple of scratches that I have on my Mercedes and Ford truck. Phil Wong looked at my car and truck and gave me multiple options to repair the scratches.
He was honest and did not try to push me to do any repairs. I left without doing anything.....because that was his primary advice and expert opinion.
I trust his judgement and will return when I am ready to do any work on my cars. -

I don't understand why this is a 5 star service. Honestly, I bought a Groupon for $60 and the groupon value was good for $120. I brought in my 2.5 year old Porsche to Phil, and I expected to have a full exterior detail service. He ended up charging me $170 for detail service and that included an extra cost for removing tree saps. So I still had to pay additional $50 with the groupon ($120). The car was washed and shinny but when I looked closely, it was not totally buff smoothly, I still could see visible dotted dirt and felt rough when touching on the surface. The key panels on both doors were still filled with little dark grease in the key holes that accumulated over time. That's detail service?The wheels was not fully detailed, he only cleaned the surface of those rims. That disappointed me the most.
I complaint to Phil, he agreed to redo (rebuff) the work, but he wanted to charge me additional cost of $100 for detailing well the wheels. And if he found any more tree sap, he would charge me more. I told him to forget it. With paying $170 for that kind of service, I rather go to some regular car wash service place, and get a premium or prestige service that is under $100 easily. I will not recommend this to my friends and family.
In response to Phil's cooment:
1) I DON'T park my Porsche under tree, not a single day. I have an indoor gated garage and I live there for 6 years. If you found a few tree saps, that's inevitable. If my car is clean and no stain, I don't need to come to you for "DETAIL" service! I was never asked to pay extra for cleaning tree saps.
2) I only contacted you for rescheduling ONCE coz something came out from work this Thursday, NOT TWICE! But you kept telling that you are booked and will charge me more if you find more tree saps.

I brought my car to Phil to be detailed. Instead, he washed my car and charged me $20 for a basic car wash that I could have gotten anywhere! Plus, he stuck his sticker on my car. EXCUSE ME? I'm not your advertising billboard for crappy car washes! AND you never asked my permission!!

So, I'm baffled by the 5 star reviews or one star reviews. It's obvious that some people have a really good experience here while others get shafted. I was unfortunately in the later category. Rewind about 3 months ago. I'm about 6 months pregnant and I just bought a brand new car and wanted to sell my old Honda Civic. It's a 2000 and has been used in the city, but also not in bad shape. It has all the little nicks and wear and tear you'd expect on a city car of this age. I wanted to get it detailed and have the little dents popped and scratches removed or touched up. I called and set up an appointment and went in for an estimate.
When he opened the car door he literally freaked out because you could tell that a dog had been in the car. The car had been sitting with the doors and windows up for a few weeks and it did have a dog smell. To me he actually came across as being angry that I had not informed him over the phone that a dog had been in the car. Does he refuse to deal with dog owners? He was so upset I told him to not worry about the smell or hair that I would take care of it (Why did I feel the need to do this? Because his reaction made me feel uncomfortable). I should have just walked out at that time but I'm pregnant and exhausted and just want to get this all done so I can sell this damn car. So I leave the car to get the basic detailing and removal of dents/scratches along the sides of the car. The cost was $215. I'm looking at the recipe right now and can't even understand the handwriting, did he simply not understand what I was asking for? Then what exactly did I pay for?
I come back a few days later to pick up the car. Because of my schedule I arrived when he wasn't there to get my car and dealt with one of his workers. It's early and pouring rain and dark so I had a really hard time seeing anything in the garage when I picked the car up, but the next day I took a close look at the car and couldn't figure out what he'd even done. The carpets had been hastily shampooed, but weren't close to being clean, he hadn't bothered to pop the three minor dents (tiny little dents with no paint chipping) or run out a couple super easy spots on the bumper, I don't think he bothered to do any work along the side of my car which I'd specifically asked for, it had been washed and waxed (kinda crappy half-assed job like the tire rims were filthy with built up dirt and wax wasn't fully removed at the edges) the inside of the car was DUSTY! Things had been armoraled but not completely so the corners were dirty. The carpets weren't even fully vacuumed. He did reattach something for me (I provided the parts) and touched up over a scratch on the back. He tore out my seat covers, which I said he could do, but didn't even bother removing the links the car covers were attached to so there was all the hooks and ties from the covers just laying on the floor under my seats. It was a freakin' mess. I literally would have got a better clean at Tower wash in the city.
So today, at 39 weeks + 2 days pregnant, (BTW if you don't know what that means I'm supposed to deliver in 5 days) I decided to detail my own car. I haven't dealt with it before now because I'M PREGNANT and been WORKING and busy! So armed with my vacuum cleaner, a lint roll, my little bissel steam cleaner, freebreez, windex and armoral I cleaned the entire car. It sparkles now after 2 1/2 hours of me contorting my swollen body to do a job I already paid someone else to do. BTW, the water in the little bissel was filthy from the carpet that he supposed washed (I'll post a picture of it so you can see), the dog hair and musty smell that he freaked out about so much was actually not so difficult to deal with. The interior looks amazing. Just saying if I can do this at 39 + weeks pregnant then why didn't he when I paid for it?
I'm gonna have to take this car into anther shop to get those little dents popped and the bumper buffed. Jeez, worse auto experience of my life. And no I didn't call him and complain, which I should have done, but at a certain point it just becomes more difficult to deal with places like this than just deal with it on your own. I was nervous but ended up very satified in my car detailing. They walked me through everything that was covered, what they would actually do to the car and how long it would take. The car was ready on time and the results were terrific.

All I can say about Phil is that he delivers on what he promises. Took the car in, a Black on Black 2004 325i BMW to find out if and how much it would cost to restore the paint job back to a somewhat new condition. Phil explained to me the process and demonstrated on a section of the back deck lid. Needless to say I was impressed. If he could do that to the rest of the car I'd be amazed.
He told me what he would do and the costs to get it done. We made arrangements to bring the car in and the following day when I picked up the car I couldn't believe it. It looked NEW!
Cost very reasonable.
Work is Excellent
Phil even gave me a loaner to drive.

We took the GTI out to Pismo Beach & tracked some sand into the car. A perfect opportunity to take our little car for its first detailing job.
Using the Groupon deal, I signed up to get a few dents fixed, some dashboard discoloration treated, replaced the tint on my passenger's side window, and a VIP detailing service all for the reasonable price a bit north of $200. Good value for bundled work! The quality of work is pretty good; work was done quickly & thorough (compared to the rush job at Ducky's). If I were to sell my car, I would bring it to Phil first, since he delivered the car in near-prime condition. Smelled like a new car when it was done, too!
We saved the extra star because the windows, especially inside the windshield, were still a bit dirty & streaky in the sun, which was one of the reasons I wanted a detail in the first place. Trying to clean the inside of a windshield is literally a pain in the neck! Anyway, my next visit, I'll make sure to emphasize this point.
If you're on the Peninsula, shops around on Groupon, & is in dire need of a car detailing (& more), it's worth giving them a shot.
