Adriana's is located at the Kealakekua Ranch Center's lower level below Choice Mart and Ace Hardware. Food is great. Everything is made fresh so sometimes she runs out of one thing or another. Also some of the prices are based on local market prices as freshly picked peppers can vary widely from week to week. While the menu is limited at times, there is enough to satisfy everyone who is hungry. Menu consists of the standards ... burritos, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos, ...
Service can be slow if more than five people show up at once, and food comes out as its ready so people in one party could get food staggered over 10 minutes, so don't worry that it seems that she forgot part of your order, you'll get it when is done. -

Adriannas homemade salsa is worth it all by itself. High prices and not so good hours though. She is also closed randomly all the time.

Another excellent, out of the way find on my trip to the Big Island. Food is actually El Salvadoran and not Mexican. It is located in a strip mall with a grocery store upstairs. The chef-owner is very attentive to the walk-up customers and our delicious food was served up quickly and with terrific explanations as to what was on the menu. They do not accept credit cards, but the prices are so reasonable that you can easily eat a terrific lunch with the change in your pockets. A definite do not miss on the Big Island. And all tips go to help the owner's mother who lives in El Salvador, so tip well, it's good karma.

Great food, fresh ingredients, wonderful & friendly staff! The breakfast burritos were huge and tasty and the price was just right.
