Nearly two years ago, I gave birth to a happy, healthy, absolutely beautiful baby girl. When she was two days old, she went home to La Jolla with her adoptive family, whom I was matched with through the services of this Law Firm.
The employees of this firm were so incredibly sweet and kind and caring, and Susan Romer was the most helpful of them all. It's a really hard decision to make, to place your child for adoption. It's painful, and you constantly question your choice, wondering whether it was the right one... Susan Romer did everything she could to help me along the way, despite the fact that she represented the adopting parents, and not me. She helped me write an adoption agreement that I could be comfortable with, and helped match me with a family whose values and morals I agreed with. She constantly checked in on me, to make sure that I was doing alright both emotionally and physically, and she always was happy to come forth with a hug when I really needed one.
As a biological mom of an adopted child, it's really nice to know that my daughter is being raised by parents who love her, and are able to take care of her, and who are teaching her right from wrong. It's wonderful to have found a couple who shares my beliefs, and I'm so thankful to Susan for all of her help in finding a family who was a perfect fit. The world needs more attorneys like her: she's honest, caring, and she genuinely loves to help people.

My wife and I have adopted two beautiful children with the assistance of Susan Romer and her staff. They were wonderful to work with--attentive, caring and always available to answer questions. They have also been available to answer questions after the completion of the adoption process.
I would recommend Adams & Romer without hesitation to anyone.
