Just returned from my first visit to Adlington Eye Center on Plumb and Arlington. What a wonderful team of doctors and staff. Dr. Adlington was extremely up to date on the latest technology. Even more impressive was the time he spent with me. I never felt rushed and and it was the first time I ever had such a thorough exam without the necessity of dilating my eyes.
His staff was also wonderful. Dillon took his time with me to pick out frames and always had the best suggestions.
I was there over 3-1/2 hours and never felt like I was imposing or using too much of their time........
I can't wait for my new glasses and readers to come in! Highly recommend Adlington Eye Center to anyone who wants the latest technology combined with wonderful customer service! -

I have been coming here for several years now. The front where you choose your frames is a little small, and they only have a limited amount of frames to choose from. But with the only negative out of the way. The small selection of frames is quite nice, however this time I decided to try contacts, as my prescription has not changed and I have several pairs of glasses. Got to use up my insurance benefits.
When I called to make the appointment they asked if I was interested in the contacts, at that time I said no. But when I got to the office I changed my mind. No problem. They where, and always are very friendly and helpful. They checked my eyes with a variety of gadgets. This year because I was low on money, and my insurance does not cover it, I opted not to have the photo taken of the inside of my eye, but have in the past. The doctor, I had Travis, was very friendly. While checking what the gadgets told him about my eyes, we chatted about many things. He seemed truly interested in our chat. He also discussed my options for contacts. Went through the pros and cons of the options.
Then out to the fitting room. The lady, I am horrible with names, that taught me to put in the contacts was very friendly and helpful. She made me feel comfortable while I felt like an idiot while trying to put the contacts in for the first time, also taking them back out. After I had them in, I went back to see Travis so he could check the fitting of the contacts. The I went back up front for a little more training. they then ordered my contacts and had them sent to my home. They arrived at my home in 5 days. Very impressed. -

Dr. Adlington and his team are the very best you could ever see when needing an exam or glasses. They are enthusiastic, truly care and will even stay late to ensure you are completely satisfied with your experience. Dr. Travis Adlington recently alleviated my heavy concerns by promptly ordering my charts from a specialist who had me scared out of my wits and spend upwards of $6000 out of pocket on a wild goose chase of tests, then reviewed and called me to relay his findings without letting even a day pass by. They are truly amazing and I can't imagine ever going somewhere else - thanks Adlington Eye Center!

I haven't had an eye exam in awhile since I am in Reno for a few weeks, I searched for an eye center close to the client site. I called in to make an appointment with the friendliest front desk person, she even looked up my insurance info. When I went in, it was fairly quick, I had the best experience with Dr. Travis answering all my questions, selecting the frames was fairly easy as well. Overall, I had the best experience.

I don't think any one who knows me would say I'm a fashionista, but the service here is incredible, and the selection is awesome.
I had Dr. Travis Adlington when I went in, and he was super friendly. My eyes checked out okay, prescription had drifted a bit, but really, we spent a fair amount of time talking about kite-surfing and snow sports - to the point where I wondered how he had the time to be spending so much time with me, but the attention was appreciated.
I'm not sure of the name of the guy who helped me with my frame selection, but he was super-friendly, and gave great feedback while I tried on frames. I tend to be the guy who hates "shopping" in any form, and usually just want to get it over with. The service made this easy, and when I went in to pick up my glasses two weeks later, he remembered my name and greeted me warmly. Very different from one of the mall stores . . .
Definitely a bit more expensive, but the whole thing made the eye glass shopping experience semi-pleasant, rather than the tedium it usually is for me . . . -

I hate getting my eyes checked. I went in thinking about contacts and wound up getting the best help EVER! Their staff was very helpful in finding the right solution for me and my needs and were very patient with me learning to put on contacts. They have an amazing assortment of frames and their office is very modern and chic. I felt like I was in a high end boutique, not getting my eyes checked out! About a month after my exam I changed my mind on ordering frames and wanted my insurance to cover contacts instead, so I called back and they set me up to get that done right over the phone. I was very pleased with the level of service there. It's a complete package of awesome. I highly recommend!
