Get their HUNGRYMAN egg sandwich. Salt and Pepper. Beautiful perfection and a hearty way to start your day.

We often order for delivery at work and they have always been dependable. The food is great, they are a bit pricier than normal on their organic fare. But always reliable, fast delivery, and Sevina is a gem! Definitely a must try!
I would avoid it between noon and one as there are tons of high school students there. -

Went in here after a night of drinking and celebrating New Years. I was really dehydrated and they had a good selection of Gaterade. It did the trick and I was ready to go. They have a lot of things to choose from when you have the munchies.
Good shop. -

Everything you want in a corner deli.
They make cheap, good sandwiches, and sell beer 24/7.
There's also a nice selection of random items. They even have Pocky.
And they make an official bacon, egg and cheese. But be warned, after noon they charge an extra $.50. Sometimes that's the only reason I get up in the morning. -

I lived half a block away and visited this place at least once a day for over a year and I will say honestly it is as good as a corner store gets in E Village / LES.
Great selection of deli sandwiches, hot and cold bar, great beverage selection, plenty of groceries for a little store (even some vegan/vege options) and a solid selection of frozen/microwavable meals.
The young woman who works the counter by day is very nice and reasonable, and the boys who make the food are also amiable and helpful.
Only complaint is the coffee is average, but I guess that's why The Bean is so nearby! -

YES.
This store has everything you could ever want, at low prices, in the brand you're looking for, stocking so much in such little space while not taking on a typical cluttered or disheveled Manhattan corner store appearance.
If you come for supplies for dinner, make sure you leave time to order lunch. They have an impressively large list of wraps and sandwiches from which to order, or you can ask then to whip something up custom. Also, don't be afraid to venture over to the sushi, which is brought in from Gracefully (Ave A) every day and destroys the common belief that all prepackaged sushi is abominable.
Also, there are no words to describe my excitement when I saw that they sell frosted raspberry Pop Tarts (Holy 1994!). They have as much beer as your standard bodega would, plus some, and everyone behind the counter is really nice.
Did I mention that they deliver? Because yeah, they do.
This is the type of store everyone hopes to have in their neighborhood, and I definitely feel lucky that I do.Listed in: My Neighborhood

I lived one block away from here in NYC and I went at least 4x a week. Open late night which is awesome for when you come in late and you are hungry. The staff there are always so nice and they have great deli selections. Good veggie burgers.

As a connoisseur of breakfast sandwiches, I highly recommend Adinah's for their HUNGRYMAN BREAKFAST SANDWICH! And everything else. Boar's Head meat. Kombucha. They sell pretty much everything you could ever want. Go there.

This place is great, and you begin to appreciate it more once you are a regular. Picture this - late night out at the bars, you are stumbling home and whoops! You realize you just don't have any (decent) food in the house. No worries! A quick jaunt to Adinah's and you are welcomed with soothing classical music and friendly, smiling people who will make you a great sandwich. Cool lighting, great selection (almost feels European in a way), and great prices.

I know everyone thinks that their corner deli is far superior to any other in the city because they know you personally, they always have your sandwich ready, they give you discounts, etc, etc. But mine really is better! Here is the proof: 1) They make unbelievably amazing breakfast sandwiches. I have lived in five other neighborhoods and none have been THIS good. The adorable little Spanish man behind the counter is a culinary genius! Even my boyfriend says that their toasted everything bagel with butter is incredible. There was also a time when I was in a cab and the cabbie said my sandwich smelled so delicious that he took down the name and address of the deli to pick one up after he dropped me off. 2) They have awesome sushi. I know you're never supposed to trust packaged sushi, BUT the first time I bought it I made them swear on a Bible that it was made that day and completely fresh. God did not strike them down and the sushi was DELISH, plus once a week they have Dragon rolls for $5.25. And they're big. And I am sure there is no other deli in Manhattan that will sell you a dragon roll for five big ones. Seriously. 3) They help the needy. I have received numerous cups of coffee and small wrapped chocolates on the house in my frequent bouts of financial hardship. 4) There isn't one, because I've made my point.
