This has become my go-to hotel for Paso. It's neat, clean, not too far off the 101 and 46, but quieter than some hotels closer to the street or train tracks. The rooms in the back, 2 story area seem to be a bit larger and nicer than the front more "motel style" rooms. The hotel has a pool, a hot tub, sauna, fun little mini golf area, washers and dryers, and are walking distance to a Starbucks, mini mart, and a strip of restaurants that includes burgers, BBQ, and mexican. Hotel rooms have fridges, and some have microwaves as well, which is nice if you are staying a while.

The decor is sort of Asian meets CA, with prints from local wineries on the wall.

The only thing I wish they had is a frequent stayer program!

This hotel is terrific. Great price, well decorated, clean rooms and convenient location. My husband and I stayed there for a night while doing a wine tour in Paso Robles. The staff was very friendly and helped us book a last minute wine tour in the area when our reserved tour stood us up! (do not use Central Coast Trolley Tours). The only downfall was that they didn't have a free continental breakfast in the am, but a Starbucks is literally across the street, so no biggie.

So far we've stayed here twice; the first time was almost 2 years ago, and they had a 'new wing'.  We had a great stay, everything was very comfortable and had a nice decor considering it was a motor inn.  Because of those memories, we decided to stay here again for a night while we enjoyed some time on the central coast.  This time, the bed wasn't as comfortable, and it had more of the 'motor inn' appeal that we missed that first time.  For the price you pay, it is definitely a step above the local Holiday Inn Express.  But don't go in with any great expectations, and you should have a pretty decent stay.
